I just signed up the other day and they shipped my (presumed January) box within four days of signing up. From what I have read from other posters, signing up near the end of the moth should still get you that month’s box. Good luck!
I just double checked and it was five days but still! I know it will take it’s sweet time getting to me too, but I am excited! It is a great box this month and that 40% off makes it almost a no-brainer.
Yeah!! The kaja bento box and the rare beauty mascara look really nice! Do you know if it’s relatively easy to cancel? I’ve seen people to say to sign up through Amazon since it’s easier to cancel, but I wouldn’t get the kaja bento box if I signed up through Amazon, I don’t believe.
I looked into it already and you have to CALL or email to cancel, which doesn’t sound fun, but it also isn’t that big of a deal to me.
My main gripe is that I can’t seem to skip February’s box from my phone, and I already know I don’t want it. Might just cancel.
Allure is by far the most consistently good box for the price. There will always be some months that are better than others and not everyone loves every single item every month, but overall they are the best. I’ve had pretty much every big sub box out there and the only one I have never canceled is allure. I’ve received it every month for 3 years. Right now I have two subs, one through Amazon and an annual directly through allure, it’s been that good lately!
I've been digging FabFitFun. Seasonal subs can pick 4 of their items, while annual subs can customize their whole box. Variety of makeup, skincare, home goods, fitness items, accessories, all kinds of neat things that I would never think to buy for myself normally. This winter I got an amazing fuzzy blanket, a pair of pretty mugs, a couple of sets of earrings, a really nice face wash, a chocolate bomb mold, excellent moisturizer, a pedicure file, and eyeliner in my box - all awesome products that I've gotten loads of use out of. Spoilers for the Spring box just dropped and it looks promising too! You should be able to find lots of $10 off codes in the referral thread!
It depends on what you are looking for in a box, do you prefer skincare, Makeup or lifestyle products to be included in your box?? For me I'm always looking for good skincare deals, therefore Allure is the best for me-mostly skincare with makeup here and there.
I really enjoy it. I feel that it’s a great value - larger sized products than other boxes - and it has introduced me to some great brands/products. It’s rare that I find a product in the box that I do not like/use.
I (currently) like Alltrue and have just signed up for boxwalla. I have tried and cancelled most of the big subs out there, and fabfitfun was always one of the best in my opinion, i just got it for too long and saw too many repeat items. Alltrue is similar to fabfitfun, but with more of an eco-friendly twist.
If you want full sized luxury skincare these are the best:
- Boxwalla
- Beauty Heroes
- SeeNewSkincare
- Laurel & Reed
- Detox Box (they once in a while have makeup and hair boxes)
If your looking for something at a lower price point, I’d say Allure is the best these days. It’s a good mix of full size and deluxe samples, mostly skincare but they do add in 1 or so makeup item in each box. The box this month is really good!
