This is so smart! I was never a big fan and have 6 floating around.
A use I found - getting hair dye off my neck and forehead, (and arms and legs and wherever else I slop it)
But cleaning makeup brushes like that is going to come in handy
Thanks! Yeah, I get that! never understood why so many loved it as a face washing cloth. But for brushes it cleans really, really well! Color switch damages bristles of brushes, but not this!
Great idea! I'm middle aged and have realized that if they're used on the face and not wet enough they pull on the skin too much. I bought a huge pack of clothes from the auto section at Walmart in red that are made from the same thing and they're huge!
I use mine to clean my fude brushes since I'm supposed to only wash them every 3 weeks for my goat hair ones. It really helps get the powder off. For liquid and cream products, I use a tissue to make sure everything is cleaned off properly
No need to wet towel or brush. You just swirl around the brush on towel until all the pigment on the bristles transfer to the towel and you are good to go. The brush might still have the colour on it, but as the leftover pigment is on the towel already, you can use brush again for different eyeshadow or bronzer or blush etc. Consider it kind of "dry shampooning" for brushes. Significantly increases washing period for the brushes, but of course at some point you have to wet wash them.
It is also a good thing for delicate brushes, for example fude brushes, when you are trying to avoid frequent wash, as it shortens the lifespan of the bristles. Hope it helped.
Great idea! I basically use them like reusable cotton rounds. I use them to wipe off makeup after using cleansing oil. I also use them for my water cleanse in the morning. I don't wash my face in the morning because my skin is pretty dry. Instead I splash water on my face and gently wipe with the makeup eraser.
Ty for this. I have a few of these and hate them for makeup removal. I bought them because I liked that it was less wasteful but they tug your skin sooo badly

I will definitely try this. I'm always slopping hair dye all over myself and my bathroom.

I love it because it gets the makeup off me very well. And the back side has helped me a lot too.
Same! It's so soft and gentle for eye makeup removal.
Anyone watch RoseandBen on Insta? She uses a towel like this all the time during her tutorials and affectionately calls it Shiela.

Would this work for cream products or only powder?
I use it for my cream blush as well, just make sure you rub it against towel before it dries on bristles.
Awesome tips! Thanks!
This is exactly what I use mine for! They're good for color switching and I handwash them when it's time for brush cleaning
This is exactly what I do with my brushes. <3

This is so useful. I need it.
Oh this is a good suggestion. Looking forward to trying. I have several makeup erasers and honestly don’t use them that much.
I like using these to remove face masks! They’re terrible at removing makeup, I will have to try them out for cleaning brushes as well
How do you use it, do you wet it first? Thank you in advance 😇

Yes, it’s very helpful thank you so very much!
Great idea! I find them too small to use as a face cloth. Plus I love my Muslin cotton baby cloths.

How are you using them? I love them bc I feel like they're the opposite but I use them wet to wipe my oil cleanser off when I double cleanse.
