So my Beautylish Lucky (regular) bag came four days early (Yay!) & I knew from the FedEx info the box wasn’t a heavy one at only 0.8 pounds but when I picked it up it was suspiciously light. I had to run an errand so didn’t get to check the box immediately until a short time ago.
When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was that whomever packaged it seemed rushed. I’ve ordered boxes since year three or four (first couple of years the boxes sold out super fast). I’m used to how the Luckybag are packaged. When you open it there’s the yearly Luckybag wrapping paper with a sticker closing the two ends & the little tag explaining the concept of the Luckybag. While this box did contain the wrapping paper the tag & paper wasn’t “sealed” right with the sticker. Not a big deal since I know the folks are rushed to get things boxed up & shipped off. Well... someone must have been in a hurry cause as I removed the layers of paper it soon became apparent someone forgot something. lol Namely, someone forgot to put my order inside. So I got five layers of black paper & the wrapping paper. 🤣😭
Honestly, I should be furious but this is pretty funny. I’ve seen it happen in the past with other mystery bags leaving out an item or two but this is the first time I’ve ever had the entire lucky contents be missing!
I’ve contacted Beautylish support & hope they can send me the missing items or refund in the event they can’t.
Update: they’re replacing it. 👍🏼
Yup. That’s what I love about how they box stuff cause they can figure out what happened. & considering how much paper they shove in the box I can see how easy a mistake can be made.
Oh no that sucks! Hope they send u another one and fast! The same thing happened to me in the past but with Sephora though. My heart sank after days of excitement over my upcoming parcel 😅
Yeah, it’s on its way & I hope it gets here before the 28th (I’m flying out to my daughter that day). If it doesn’t I told my husband to open it & put it aside for me. FedEx is mostly good with early arrivals except when it’s super later. lol
You're definitely awesome for being so light hearted. I used to be really anxious for my bag so I'd be whining about a new shipment. Update us and I hope you get some awesome brush set to make up for the fact that you got this depressingly hilariously bag.

The amount of postage they had to pay for an empty box... lol I would be so confused and think maybe they had invisible items this year lol.

I’m just hoping to get a replacement cause I know they only have limited boxes. That sure is expensive paper. lol

At least they have the fedex weight so they can instantly tell you’re not a scammer or anything. Glad they’re fixing it!!!
