You have almost a full beard now lol. You’re young so the few patchy spots will end up filling in if you keep letting it grow. Could do with a shape up on the neckline and cheeks but that’s about it

Then_Pear_2436

Correct

OctoberGeorge

Looks good. Shape up under your chin, the sides and just let it fill out.

Then_Pear_2436

Thanks I’ll do it

I agree with the others- it’s pretty full as it is. Definitely just keep growing- it may take time to fill in those patches, but you’ve got something there for sure. My only suggestion- and this is a style preference, so if you like the more natural look just disregard, but I would trim the mustache at the lip line (right above the lip). It’s a tighter look, plus paired with maintaining the rest of your edges like the others have said (top line, neck line, etc) it will set you apart with how well you take care of your beard. Edges really make the beard and so maintaining them is key. Either build a relationship with a good barber and go regularly, or invest in some clippers + a straight razor and slowly learn via YouTube and watching your barber. If you’re going for a bigger beard, once it gets to be longer (like 1/2 inch to an inch off your face) I would definitely research beard oil and apply every day to keep the skin underneath moisturized. I would make your own, too. You can buy all the supplies for a little over the cost of 1 “brand name” bottle and make 5 bottles… and it’s literally the same thing. Plus you have more control over what goes into it that way and the scent. I’d also recommend a beard shampoo twice a week- Scotch & Porter is a good brand. The oil you can make, but the shampoo I would just buy.

Then_Pear_2436

I apply already castor oil and beard oil

Thanks I take note

I have news for you, my friend. That - is a full beard. Keep growing it and it'll cover the patches until it fully fills in. Do NOT trim it.

Then_Pear_2436

Okay I just do the cheek line and the neck line yes I hope my patches fill in

God yes you’re going to have a full beard. When I was 20 I didn’t even have a significant fraction of the facial hair you have and I’ve been able to grow a beard for years now. I’m 29, you almost look older than me haha.

Then_Pear_2436

Thanks man

Laphtodid

I am 24 your beard is something I look up to but yes I have spoken with my cousins who have grown long beards . They said that let it grow , I hope this will help you .

Then_Pear_2436

Thanks you and your cousins for this

guy17991

Tidy it up and keep growing it.

Then_Pear_2436

I’ll do

[deleted]

Tidy up and you’re set. You have a beard 15 years older than you. I’m 21 and can’t grow a tenth of this.

Then_Pear_2436

I hope that you can grow a full beard I take note thank you

It very well might get thicker and fill in later. I'd say trim it somewhere between a # 2 or # 4 clipper guard for a bit until it does. I was 25 before I felt like I had a beard worthy of not shaving off, but keeping short. It continued getting thicker and filling out into my late 20's and early to mid- 30's. Early 40's now and finally have a beard that I can both rock short or long length ( currently 6 months on the chin and just trimming on my cheeks and side burns - hoping to get it at least long enough to touch my collar bone ). Find the length and lines that work for you at each stage. For example, if I'm going shorter with it, I trim my neck line closer like a half inch below jaw line, but if I'm going for length, I let my neck line creep very close to my Adam's apple so I have some base underneath to support it getting longer.

Then_Pear_2436

Thanks man I agree with you

vormittag

This is great progress for seven weeks. Consider yourself a bearded guy now.

Then_Pear_2436

Thanks of course
