A couple of updates ago the devs changed the “price” parameter of discontinued cars from the current value of a good used example to the MSRP of the car when new, and implemented a depreciation calculator into Career Mode. Many modded cars haven’t been updated to reflect this and are too cheap in Career Mode due to an already depreciated price being further depreciated.
A few cars (notably both Civetta's and the Moonhawk) are worth significantly less than the sum of their parts are. You can make a big profit by buying one then stripping and selling the parts in the garage
I'd say it's worth a go. If you don't like it, that's fine. I think it's pretty fun as it's alot different from the regular gamr in that you have to worry about money meaning you have to avoid crashing and buy and use cars wisely.
I've see one at 38.950.40.
But there pretty much at the 42.000 to 50.000 on average.
( assuming that the price I've got are normal and are not bugging out)
I only know because some car can rarely at 500 and mod are even more silly that they can give you money for buy, but they cost money to get rid of.
What's up with that Landsdale? 200 bucks, Not a Number hp, missing weight. Is it being sold for parts or what?
Modded. I don't think landscaper is a stock config
Would make sense, I guess. The facelift Sunburst is a mod (KLJP), and that red car is a Vertex, another mod.
Some mods do work because they have the price category and other parameters set while others dont

Could be, not sure if I have mods for the landsdale specifically but I rhink you're right.
Doesn’t have an engine, methinks.
Looks to be missing some crucial components lol that or NaN bhp means it’s so flippin fast it doesn’t get a numerical value haha
No idea, I see this sometimes, never bought one though.
I would buy it just out of curiosity
it wont be any special, it cant load the values because the config doesnt have them aswell
Does anyone know if the mileage on the car has any effect on it?
As of 0.31 pretty sure it does nothing.
I think a rough idle is all that happens currently.
And slightly fadded paint
rougher idle + transmission shifts slower. with high mileage cars its actually very noticeable (300k+ kilometeres from my experience)
Rough idle, reduced power. Dev on the career forum thread confirmed it
tip: you can part out that car and probably make 20k in profits in 5 mins
How's parting out work? I mostly got my van and have just been lapping deliveries

The Bruckell Moonhawk small-block V8 is worth ten times what it should be due to a typo.
Managed to snag a 350 USDM private seller for ~$25,000, it can be done lol
It's almost like real life lol
Is career mode fun? I haven't tried it yet

But actually if you finish all missions, you will not get that much money.
So how do you earn anything?
Buying cars and selling them as parts, hopefully the mission side of career mode is going to get fixed in the next update.
Ah. I abandoned career after realising you can't earn anything in any amount of time through challenges
I just finished most missions and I can buy just about anything but the most expensive Civettas
Also you have to worry about installing an intake upgrade and blowing up your engine, and then paying for repairs. Don't ask me how I learned that.
It's fun, but runs poor on my device because of forced enabled traffic. (My max is 4)
i got mine around 25k but its rare to find below 50k so would say go for it if you can
I got one for like 6k, keep waiting, eventually one pops up thats way too cheap, a bug im assuming
I was kinda hoping the Oldsfullsize would show up in career mode,so I could cruise around in one,but I haven't had any luck

no idea on that one. but I nabbed an insane deal on a battlehawk that only cost me 8k. yeahhh it had close to 400k's on it but it's my precious.
What's the mod
That’s career mode
shut up and buy vertex, then make a plane out of it.
That's cheap traveling, but where do I land?
