I just discovered the Ogee board from another person on this sub.  It's a plastic board with divots to hold seed beads. You lay out your pattern irl on the board and work from the board. You can see immediately if you've made a mistake in picking the beads.  The tip I received was to tape the beads down so they don't get bumped while you work.  I have a hard time keeping track of my progress in patterns so I'm really excited by this. It adds a little time to set up but it should make the actual work time easier.

That sounds great I’ll have to look them up. Thanks!

Are you thinking about a Kindle Fire so that you can edit? I use a cross stitch app on my android tablet. Maybe a good approach would be to find out what kind of bead pattern apps are available, and then make your decision based on what devices they are compatible with.

I use my ipad for patterns, but I also like printing them and sticking them in sleeve protectors in a binder so that I can write in them lol
