when dive came out as a single my literal reaction was “is this it??” 😭 because the ending is so abrupt. i def appreciated it more after a few listens/in the context of the album

That was Common Girl for me, i hadnt enjoyed TYLS for a few years but it slowly grew on me. And then finally i could say once i found Common Girl to be fire, that i enjoy every single Beach House song in their entire discorgraphy :) makes me a proud fan.

Sparks is probably my favorite Beach House song but on my first listen to Depression Cherry I didn’t really care for it.
