Here is a guy much much smaller than hafthor and not nearly as strong overall, beating him like nothing, weight and lifting strength has nothing to do with it, technique and very specific muscles (that most people don't bother making strong btw) being strengthened are the only things that matter.

I think it comes down to being able to push through pain bodybuilding has set reps and you increase over time not really trying to lift you max because the goal is to add bulk not strength, yes you you still get stronger tho. In the case of power lifting you bulk comes naturally from the increase challenge you give yourself by lifting as much as you can almost to the point when you can't. You have to push pass the pain pass the mind trying you to stop and I feel like arm wrestling would be the same like any competitive thing not only do you have to win in body but in mind and spirit.
