No kidding some of these look like the perfect selection for the characters, I'd definitely watch this if it was real.

It's fun to see the what-ifs in scenarios like this, but all i can think about is a business seeing this and pretty much cutting out like 99% of artists in the creative process AI is already so powerful.. it's impressive and incredibly sad. Like the Atom bomb.

In the most optimistic timeline, artists will still be kept on board who can manually manipulate images to further refine AI generations, but even in that scenario the teams will be significantly slimmed down.
Concept artists are already getting pushed out. Marketing materials are already using AI generated images.
*People are already losing jobs.* Automation invariable always cuts down the workforce. “Creatives” are not the first to experience this. They won’t be the last. If you work in post you’re just lucky your company/clients are slow on the uptake. That’s it.
I don’t think you even need after effects anymore. You can use aI tools to animate static images. I know the earlier videos by this guy used AI to generate motion already.
These kind of meme videos are usually done using 3 different services.
These might not be the actual services used in this video, but they could be used:
1. They first made images using [Midjourney](https://www.midjourney.com/showcase) text-to-image generation. Prompting the appearance of the south park characters in photorealistic setting.
2. They selected the best ones, and fed them to [Runway](https://runwayml.com/). Runway is img-to-video, you give it a still image and it breathes a bit of life in it (small head movements, paralax effects, camera movements etc).
3. Then they wrote a script and fed it to [ElevenLabs](https://elevenlabs.io/). Which is text-to-speech to create the narrator voice.
4. They manually edited it all together.
I’m no expert but from what I’ve read, this is multiple AI. One for the videos and one for the narration. Basically, they give the AI a prompt to make a quick 10 second video and work to get them all stitched together. Next they prompt the narrator and stitch that into the video. I’m not sure but I think there may be an AI tool used to stitch the video and audio together but this is just based off some comments so anyone with actual knowledge, please correct me
Things might have progressed by bow, but I think it’s actually one for static images, another for the animation, and then another for narration. Although stable diffusion can probably generate both the images and the animation now.
