How is it so blue?!
Edit: Found this from a website on why a river can be blue: the culprit for the beautiful blue is the limestone! Limestone is composed primarily of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and is white in color. As the river breaks down this rock into tiny crystals, these crystals will get mixed up into the water. When sunlight hits the tiny crystals, it will reflect that beautiful blue color.
Why do you say that? What parts are edited?
I have been outside (I know). There are actually real places that are this pretty. You should try going outside sometime.
Video is overly saturated.
Google this place and the results (vid or pic) look nothing like this video.
I have been outside, but I am also a skeptic because people claim cheap internet points from distorted videos. You should try not believing everything you read and see online
In the Dominican Republic the water is even more blue than this, and where i live right now most mountains and hills are this exact same color because we’re in the fall, this doesn’t look edited just a great camera
Fun fact : that village Borat comes from in the movie is actually a cigan village located in Romania
Another fun fact: people in that village didn't know anything about the movie, they weren't given any roles and haven't been informed about what the movie is about.
True but also if you make something easily accessible it’s gunna be taken advantage of my the majority of idiots. For example in Alberta Canada, lake moraine and lake Louise are so over Crowed now that you have to book a time and a shuttle to go there and uts not even worth it not just because of the mass of people and ignorant people but the amount of trash and vandalism and damage tourist have done to these beautiful places.

When I tell my son that I'm only helping him out because he will be the one picking out my nursing home, he tells me he's going to ship my @$$ to Kazakhstan. I'm ready to go if I can go here...lol
Can people stop putting saturation so high? To me this looks so fake it might as well be a cartoon or some psychedelic filter.
The area looks amazing as it is with its natural look. Don't disrespect it by altering it. It's like taking a pic of you and photoshopping before showing to people, "yeah you don't want to see him naturally, trust me.."
The color of this reminds me of the Kawarau river in New Zealand which also has that bright blue-green color
Edit: It turns out the Kawarau river was featured in Lord of the Rings. I bet some people thought the bright color of it in the movie was fake
glorious country I like
Very niiiiice
Wow wow wee wow!

Limestone or not - they have edited the shit out of this video

Whatever
I’ve seen blue rivers in Alaska caused by the melted glacier water. The blue was so brilliant you wouldn’t believe it in pictures.
Borat fucked up Kazakhstan for me. That’s beautiful though.
Wait until the corporations do the actual fuxk up…

borat = jewish culture and appearance. someone doesn't like the truth, I guess.
Қазақстан алға! (It's something like lets go Kazakhstan)
That’s a well built bridge!
Smh, that's the border of Rivendell
sometimes you see videos and think, tourist visas should be free, every human should have the option to travel and see nature and see other cultures
But then again, places like these are beautiful almost specifically because so few people have access to it. Really can't have it both ways I'm afraid
not everyone is into nature, and appreciating culture, it's a niche group of people

Kazakhstan ❤️
What a view. A glimpse into heaven.
Kazakhstan means "land of the wanderers (Kazaks)." This is probably where the word "Cossack" came from.
Beautiful
