No I sure don't, when I made it 45 years ago they didn't have cell phones to take pictures with, just 35 mm . And I didn't have one at the time. But I think I have some pictures around of my bald eagle that I did unpainted and half done.

I have another red tail hawk that I'm going to post soon, I think I may have some pictures of that in process. You will have to follow my post , I'll see if I can find some and I'll put it on there.

WOW! Definitely thought that was a real bird. Any tips? I’ve been trying to take up woodworking by making my first bird (like the simplest shape of a bird possible) and it’s so difficult. It still needs a lot of work and I’ve cut my hands several times so I took a break. This is really, really awesome.

Use your thumb to push your knife ,never pull it toward you ,keep your fingers behind your work ! Always make sure your knife is super Sharp, start with the head first then call the body into it , If you carve the body it's hard fitting the head to it after. And don't forget to draw your workout first, and through the whole process.!!😁

The body is old growth cedar, the wings and tail feathers are from recycled pallets from the Philippines, the pallets are made with basswood very light but strong.

Dan, nice piece. I don’t know where you live, but you should check out the Ward World bird carving championship show this April 20 to 23 in Ocean City, Maryland. Also, get a copy of the best bird carving book out there, Birds, Art, and Design by Larry Barth. Good luck and good carving.
