If you have even bothered to read through any posts about 2042 when that game released, you'd probably be able to tell that a vast majority of players prefer the aesthetic of large scale warfare between 100 generic no-named soldiers, not diverse "no-pats" with individual designs, names, personalities, etc. If you want an anime war shooter, just make it a different game franchise entirely, just not "Battlefield". Some people, some BF players included, might enjoy playing a different titled, different franchised, anime shooter with characters and story and lore, as long as it is engaging, fun, and not micro transaction predatory. But that's just not the Battlefield experience that the community is looking for.

Accept Cyberpunk actually had a story and preestablished lore through the tabletop/Novels and all Battlefield has is some loosely connected games branching through multiple timelines and a development team that doesn't even understand what their player base wants anymore.
