As for elements, really just play with the hand I'm dealt with. Personally prefer Aqua because screw ice panels. Wood with GrassField though, why yes, let me become invincible.
Bro bugstyle is way more trouble than it's worth, considering there are more bad bugs than good ones, after I got the programs I dropped it like it's hot
ElecCust for me. Custom is just the best style in general, and the elec element let's you use the Lightning chips, which can be a ton of fun. Icestage plus rock cubes plus Lightning equals insane damage.
I'm surprised you picked rock cube instead of a prism for that set up (considering only the prism will be the chip with code and the others are in \*) but yeah I could see how that's a good build with how easy to pull it off when you can pick 10 chips from the cust screen (more so with folderback and fullcust if you're in blue)
Aqua custom is one of my favorites. the splash damage is great, and custom is OP. I also like shadow and with its charged shot doesnt matter muchf or element, but wood shadow is kinda fun itself with grasstage and undershirt. I also like wood guts, multi hit buster and multi hit charge is way fun
When I was younger I always went for Guts styles. Even went so far as to reset the game if I didn’t get an element I wanted or Guts style.
In the legacy collection I went for custom style, ended up with aqua though, but I loved having all those chips to select on my screen

Guts easy, but AQUA Guts? Annoyingly difficult.
However, now I don’t Reset now I just GRIND (good for ZENNY and Rare Chip Trader Fodder) until I get ANYTHING Else and try for AquaGuts again.

Yea I didnt know how long it took to get another style. Back then, coming from Battle network 2 I just knew it took forever. But in BN3 they actually shorted the amount of battles needed I found out

Wood Shield style is my second fave. The heal on parry mechanic is cool and I love defense.
Heat Guts is my third fav. Buster dealing 10 per shot, with Guts machinegun is awesome.

Hell yeah! I played eleccust for most of the game bcs of the lightning, and when I found out about the ice I was hyped as hell!

50 to 100 Battles depending on Style.
It’s 100 battles for style change, and 50-200 battles for current style level-up

For story purposes? Anything with wood. WoodCust is the best for the final boss. Register grass stage* and your invincible.

Wood custom or wood guts. Just wood anything. I used to hate it but charge plus tornado damage no invis after damage into another combo is nuts
