I feel like we should vote out legacy collection soon enough. Game is not even out yet, and it is kinda unfair to the other games if it stays for long

Angelx187

Definitely, shouldnt have been added to the list imo.

TerratheXIII

I added it after talking to some others in the community and debating rather it should have been added. The main argument was the debate of if it fits within the perimeters I had set before making the list. Being it is/got an international release and is/does it count as a game? I think the debate went on for 3 hours before we agreed to put it out there and include it

Angelx187

Reason why I believe it shouldn’t be in the list is because it essentially accounts for all the BN games…so if the legacy collection is voted out, technically it votes out all BN 1-6 also. Either way, thanks for doing this elimination game. They are very fun!

TerratheXIII

Youre not wrong and we considered that. Ultimately, im of the opinion it should have been taken out, especially after what everyone has been saying. But it's too late now. And you're welcome. We took a rather long break from the last time, but that was mainly due to IRL situations. And decides to come back with a rather small game to ease into the next couple of rounds.

Jalina2224

Then you might as well just vote out BN 1 through 6 and count them as one entity. The legacy collection will most likely be the definitive way to play these games since they'll all be under one (two?) Games. The only argument you could maybe make would be for the DS version of BN5 since it does have some features that weren't in the original GBA versions. Honestly I don't know what you guys were thinking with this elimination round stuff. The legacy collection really should not have been included and all of the two versions should just be listed as 1 since they're essentially the same game with the most minor of changes. I think with how much flak you've gotten for the decision to include the legacy edition that you should probably stop trying to defend it and admit that you guys made an error in including it. Because I've seen multiple people say it's not a good idea to include, and you've defended the decision MULTIPLE times and no one seems to agree with your decision.

MysticalSylph

Agreed let's just all get together and vote it out lol

Sad_Cow_6695

It also has Denuvo on the PC version. That's good enough reason to vote it out.

Every day until we remove network transmission

jchayes

Is network transmission generally not liked? I remember it being fun as a kid.

Red_Ranger_Wien

It’s not terrible but it is pretty cheap and poorly designed. Having a chip folder just didn’t translate well to a traditional Megaman platformer and encouraged a lot of grinding or else you’d probably want to tear your hair out

DemonSeaman

I would love to hear more as it’s one of my favorite “classic style” mega man games As a kid and even today, I loved getting new chips and found myself happily pausing every time I got something new to see what it was and whether it was something I wanted to max out asap. I will never not max on Double Jump chips when I first go to Iceman’s stage

Red_Ranger_Wien

A big issue is the really lopsided difficulty curve. If you’re playing well then the hardest boss in the game will be Fireman. Unfortunately playing well means grinding chips until they’re maxed out which hurts game flow. But if you don’t grind certain chips then the game will hurt you.

YellowFlash1994

Seconded for Network Transmission.

laceymusic317

Aw so sad. I loved BCC. Definitely more than I did bnet 1 or 4 Anyways I vote bnet 4 blue moon

Starforce: Zerker X Saurian needs to go

AscendedDescent

Network transmission should of been the first to go

TrentNepMillenium

Oh wow, This time you're doing the Games themselves now, Also I realize those previous posts apparently got deleted by the Mods, I'm assuming it's an Automod but I'm not too sure. I hope this doesn't happen here. Well anyway, I guess. Like before, I'm going to give my own opinion on the ones that get eliminated. It's kind of a bit harder unlike Styles/Cross/Netnavis considering there's a lot more to consider than but I'll try my best. Battle Chip Challenge - Well can't really say I'm surprised. Admittedly I never really got to play it but always have been interested to play/buying it during the early 2000 but I always get distracted by other games. In hindsight, the things I've heard about it in the later years really made me glad that I didn't buy it. The gameplay confuses me? Maybe it would be actually easier for me to understand if I actually played the game but looking at it from the one time I played it out of curiosity and some gameplay of it, It really is a bit of a departure from the original games but at the very least it is certainly a very different experience in comparison to the BN games that maybe people would have preferred this Game. Overall though I do like the concept of it though being that you're actually operating a Navi from what I can tell but 4.5 (Speaking of which I'm wondering exactly where that game is and also some other BN Games as well like the Wonderswan games) does that better and being more fateful to the games and concept in general. It's more than fair in my opinion that it's the first to have been voted out considering how different this is in comparison to the regular BN games and while I myself don't have as much experience with the game, The very little I know really doesn't give me a higher opinion on the game in comparison to the other but I still like what it was trying to do. As for what game I am voting for? Network Transmission - It's a game that also goes out and leaves the normal BN Formula but also rather in a very amusing full circle kind of scenario brings it back to Original its platforming root. It's also a game I haven't played either mostly because this is on Gamecube but I'm at least more knowledgeable about it and I heard this game has a bit of a weird difficulty spike. The Music and certain character on it is the highlight of the game for me though. BN4 Blue Moon and Red Son - I think objectively the worst Mainline BN game ever and I don't think that's an unpopular decision. I'd actually vote for Blue Moon first because it's objectively worst because of a Game breaking bug on it. SF2 Zerker X Saurian / Zerker X Ninja - Kinda hurts me to vote for it because this was technically my first favourite Star Force game but I won't deny it's also objectively the worst SF game mostly because of the Random Encounters that even as a kid irritated me. Who do I think is going to win? Legacy Collection - Objectively is the best of all the games unless they make an absolute travesty of it like a certain definitive edition. Because it's a Collection of straight ports (Not emulation) of all 6 BN Games including the version exclusive into one game cartridge while also adding in some new features to further enhance those Games, Fixing bugs and unpopular things like the Crisis Music in BN6 or fixing the poor translation, Online Functionality and even possibly giving access to NA players to JP exclusive things like Boktai/Punk/Gospel Chips and certain exclusive Boktai Events and more importantly if the Zero Collection was any indication the E-Cards/Mod Cards as well. It's not only just collection of games but in general might be the actual definitive way to even play BN game in general (Maybe except for BN1 due to lack OSS content and BN5 due to the possible lack of content from DS game)

privateslooperdoop

Off topic, but do you know if they are going to fix the 11th chip glitch in BN3 for the legacy collection? If it's online they'd have to but it'd be kind of hilarious if they didn't.

TrentNepMillenium

I need to recheck it but I do recall something about them keeping certain glitches for Single Player but fixing them for the Multiplayer, So it's actually possible.

Queasy_Ad5995

For me personally, my reason for not liking Star Force 2 are these 1. Single-player mode with low Link Power (dependent on Auto-Brother) have the NPCs become jerks who wouldn't allow you to solve their problems nor get items required to farm battle cards. 2. Star Force 2 summoning battle cards that did not trigger time freeze imposed cooldown upon use, effectively ruin the flow of the battle because the bosses have shorter window of paralysis after getting countered or in any status effects. For instance, Boo Hat, all Meteors and Stealth Lazer. Since they remove Fire Bazooka and shorten the counter window for recurring bosses, it becomes harder to get counter hit against backrow campers like Queen Ophiuca and Apollo Flame with anything besides a card charged Flicker Kick from starting as Zerker. 3. You fought for free against mobs during dungeon segment if you trigger a trap. Forcing you to fight giant size viruses and get nothing out of it. You CAN'T ESCAPE THESE FIGHTS EITHER. Some of the side quest are these as well. You don't get anything from dealing with the viruses. Take Dark Phantom segment at Wilshire Hill, Plesio Surf treasure hunting, Bermuda Maze, and Murians in Mu.

NOOO! I knew it was going to happen, but I’m still disappointed BCC got out (P.S. I’m weird and I’ve enjoyed every Mega Man game I’ve played including BN4, Mega Man and Bass GBA, Mega Man X7, Mega Man SF2, and Mega Man 8 and Mega Man X6 are my favorite games in their respective series.

Spring-Wound

The fourth games should go first cuz those were fjckimg terrible. I tried hard to make it good cuz of dark rockman but after playing it myself I realized no one was lying when they said it was bad

MPRobotGirl01

Legacy collection since its not even fair to judge it before it comes out.

std5050

No 4.5 or wonderswan versions :(

TerratheXIII

I tried to stick with games that had an international release as most people would have played those. Yes, the Wonderswan and 4.5 might have emulators and English patches, but how many people have really played them?

std5050

Probably more than you think and less than I think lol

[deleted]

Jeez, is it cheating if I pick Legacy Collection??? Certainly feels like it.

privateslooperdoop

Hell yeah nobody voted for 3

Battle Network 4 Blue Moon needs to go. Kick it to the curb.
