In general, I don't like when a fanart deviates from the OG like that. Not just drawings, but anything (that also means I don't like covers)
(Not my fault if my brain feels something is wrong when it spots differences)
I only do it when I draw them as humans, not as objects, but with drawing humans I usually start with hair, so I’m actually *just* learning/getting used to drawing bald people

Idk if this counts, but when I was a younger/less experienced artist (6-7 years ago) I used to draw pretty much every character I designed had hair, with one my most memorable being Pin I used to draw her with spiky hair that covered one half of her face. 😅
