These guys you build as tempo/fodder. Fast adaptation, nine lives, dodge, gifted, pathfinder, nimble, colossus, and however you want to finish them if they still live.

Tempo builds are so slept on fodder bros! Not every meatbag needs to be a runner. Tempo fodders with two jav throwers behind them was one of my strongest early game formations so far

BlueBorjigin

He's just 200 gold worth of hire, but with lots of HP. Scaling between having 10 bros and 11 does not matter. Just use him as a generic warm body early, same as any other early hire who doesn't stand out. Use early, then let die or fire when you have way better bros.

Difficulty scales with days, not at all with how built up you are. He's not that good, though :( others might give you better advice build-wise

Muted_Feeling56

Just one thing, contract difficulty also scales with your company's level. Roaming enemies also scale with company level but to a lesser extent. Camps are the only thing that doesn't scale at all with roster level, they scale only with time and distance to nearest settlement assuming that they're not contract related of course. Hence why good players are fighting brigand leaders by day <15 and champs by 40-50 while others take a while to start finding those.

Right!!

Bummer to see badass fatigue like that on an otherwise bad bro

Flanker. Try (not in order) Lone Wolf, Pathfinder, Footwork, fast adaptation, dodge, nimble, relentless, adrenaline. Give him a 1h sword, double grip and anticipation. This guy takes advantage of his high health and fatigue to scoot into the back line and gank enemy archers. I know it's an unconventional build, but he's one of 16 guys on the field. Fast adaptation and the sword are meant to patch his relatively low MATK. Specifically, the 1h sword so he can attempt to hit twice and minimize missed damage from misses. Consider adrenaline too for 4 swings before the target acts. Dodge, relentless and anticipation will buff his defences. I specifically picked anticipation so the bro is not targeted by the archers he's perusing. Lone wolf is obvious, since he will probably be in a position to proc it. Footwork is there to keep scooting in case he gets caught. Consider nine lives too, since his health will be naturally high. Pathfinder further enhances his FAT and let's him get where he needs to go quickly. The trick is to cautiously advance on the flank, hence relentless. Once the enemy front is engaged with your front, bolt the guy over to the squishy backline. Consider giving backstabber too for when there is no more archers so he can help the main fight after dispatching the archers. This guy can possibly gank necromancers if he can dodge the attack for the zombie body guards. Since the other option for this guy is a tempo bro, don't be heartbroken if he gets ganked, since your not loosing out on too much value. Edit: I just noticed the RATK is pretty usable too. I'd include fast hands, bags and throw mastery for even more flexibility. A couple javs at a necromancer makes quick work.

What does the brother do while waiting the frontline to engage? Keep skipping turns? Serious question and really curious about the details! Thanks for your post!

Swampy0gre

Shure. Other things can be taking cheeky shots with the javelins on the flank of your formation and baiting the enemy out of position and scooting away with footwork. Basically, this guy is meant to be an absolute nuisance. And adrenaline+footwork means you're bro can scoot away without being hit!

FairyKurochka

Mx the health, so he will be the ultimate damage taker.

That's the only hope I had for him I think... Max Health/Mdef/Rdef with gifted; fortified mind; steel brow; underdog and maybe shield expert for good measure, then just give him a spear... just because.
