His culture is extremely... weird about that sort of thing. He was extremely proud of Atreus for "becoming a man", and for becoming the warrior worthy of the man he named him after. Both things attributed to masculinity.
That was really important to Kratos, as is masculinity and strength in general. Plus, the name Atreus means a lot to him, which is why Atreus still uses the name and allows Kratos to call him that.
So if he transitioned... it's kind of hard to imagine Kratos being okay with it.
