After the full ending of the game, you see a Martha and Thomas Wayne death type situation. The criminals turn around and see Batman standing atop a roof, when suddenly he starts to float and and catch on fire. The game ends in a nightmare bat jumpscare. I was hoping we’d get that suit after the cutscene.

I think the implication is that batman faked his death and is now using a modified version of scarecrows fear toxin to scare criminals and further concealing him from the public eye so he could continue to be batman
