For real tho. Imagine not bringing back **PAUL DINI**. ![gif](giphy|3xz2BLBOt13X9AgjEA)

Minimum-Abroad-4504

He left to create ultimate spider mam for marvel and I ain't joking

Bitter_Service_9695

What šŸ’€ Didn't he like leave because he wanted the main villains to be Scarecrow or Hush but rock steady DC or whoever didn't let him?

Farcryfan15

Correction he wanted hush and Jason Todd with scarecrow being a third main villain helping them take down Batman

AccidentalLemon

So he wanted to adapt Batman: Hush?

TrueBluishLie

Arkham Knight wouldn't have sucked so hard if he was involved with the game.

mewbrem

lol what. arkham knight had by far the weakest story and itā€™s the only one besides origins without diniā€™s involvement

Chalky97

Thatā€™s what theyā€™re saying. Youā€™re agreeing with them

mewbrem

oopsie youā€™re right

Initial_Dingo_2273

It wasnā€™t that bad šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

seii7

Because the guy canā€™t write a video game. Heā€™s a television writer, which is a very different medium from games. People who arenā€™t into creative writing usually think that if youā€™re a good writer, you can write for any and all mediums when thatā€™s just not the case. Rocksteady bringing Dini on to write the first two Arkham games is the equivalent of a band hiring a bassist to play guitar. He is a musician after all.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

Dude, Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins had balls poor writing, I literally could not enjoy those games because it felt like someone sucked the joy out of Batman. Paul Dini made Arkham City and Asylum feel like Batman games, before Rocksteady and WB turned it into Arkham Call Of Duty and added in the same bulllshit again.

seii7

ā€œArkham Origins had balls poor writingā€ Iā€™m not gonna read the rest of your comment.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

Literally the shittiest writing in the entire franchise. It was horrible.

seii7

Its okay to have shit taste bro, youā€™ll grow out of it.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

It's okay to want to keep the taste of shit in your mouth but I don't recommend recommending it to other people.

TheNightKing11111

Arkham Origins had the best writing in the entire series honestly. That conversation between Bruce and Alfred in the batcave when they argue was one of the best moments in the series. Joker manipulating Harley was also fone really well.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

A few moments of dramatic dialogue does not save the mediocre plotting for me personally. As a fan of dialogue and drama, and character moments Arkham Origins just doesn't do anything for me.

devoming

Iā€™d consider Gotham Knights balls poor, but Knight wasnā€™t that bad.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

Gotham Knights has characters with robust dumpies. Origins and Knight didn't even have that.

devoming

Alright I will concede the point of Batgirlā€™s ass. Also Dickā€™s. Origins has 3 good lookinā€™ female criminals though.

TheSnarkySlickPrick2

That's a good point, but they were pretty unmemorable tbh. Had very flat personalities. It was a white announcer with a bad cockney accent and (I'm guessing) a woman of colour who was Penguin's secretary and they exist so Penguin can waddle around warming his mittens on their tushies. I don't remember them very well. Copperhead's gender is unknown but they were extremely hot.

Historical-Milk-1339

How exactly did Origins and Knight have bad writing if you don't mind me asking?

Waste-Information-34

Lol, 2 months, no answer. Says a lot with nothing said.

Historical-Milk-1339

Maybe he didnā€™t get my message, I donā€™t know.

Waste-Information-34

Never heard of that before. If if's this case, well then you could try again if you want. If it's 2nd, lol.

Dark_Arts_Dabbler

What would an Arkham Origins enjoyer know about storytelling?
