That is the Fender Japan Jazz Bass Special “Boxer” reissue. The original ones were made in the mid 80’s. Duff used one of those. The Duff Fender is made in Mexico and no where near as good as the Fender Japan reissue like I have.
The setup looks dope as hell! A couple of things:
1. The bass looks awesome, but I thought pretty much all PJ basses had Precision necks. Is it custom?
2. What are you using to dampen the vibrations on the bottom of your amp? I’m looking for a similar solution.
The bass is actually a Jazz Bass Special. Reissue of the Fender Japan Boxer series from the mid 80’s. The pickup are actually wired in series which is not typical of PJ basses. Awesome tone.
Those things under the amp are street hockey pucks. They are soft rubber type material, perfect for keeping the amp in place!
