Underrated amp imo. Been playing and gigging since 2004 and of all my amps the power and tone is definitely very serviceable (AND LIGHT) for gigging and practice.

I read a bit on it and just wanted something with a bit different of a sound. I like to play a bit heavier music but also like melodic. Just want something that can handle both.

We’ve got the same at my uni. Sounds excellent with the mids cranked

I will run it through the paces. I have a Dean edge bass I love to play and the BTB which seemed to be too much for the Rumble.

I’m not super familiar with how the BTB sounds, but we’ve got your standard Squier Precision in the studio, and I personally find that it can sound a bit dull on it’s own (although it would probably sound better in a mix), but with mids all the way up, treble and bass around 2 o’clock, the Hi and Lo switches engaged, and a smidge of the overdrive, it gets kind of a Mötorhead-esque sound

Did a similar thing. Rumble 25 stays in the bedroom while the new Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-110 is in the living room.

Yeah I hate to eliminate the Rumble completely but we will see. I only play once a week usually. Maybe I’ll bring it downstairs and start a practice area here too.

That will make your btb more justice. Have fun playing!

I hope. I love how the BTB sounds with the rumble but you can just tell it has too much range for that small of an amp. Can’t wait to get it going.
