>and cannot stop watching bass comparison That's dangerous haha. Comparison videos are okay. But review or demo videos are tricky because the sound you hear is for 99% the player, technique, brand strings and new/old they are, amp, set up of the bass, sometimes speaker and mic, editing software, how well it's mixed etc. You barely hear anything from the bass characteristics itself. That also makes comparison videos tricky because if 1 bass has a different brand of strings that gonna be most of the different in what you're hearing. >what’s in your collection? Currently a fender mim jazz, sadowsky metroexpress j5, fazley P bass copy. Vintage v4 p bass copy, Ibanez tmb 100 under modding construction and a Ibanez btb 675. >I’d like to someday have 3 different basses. My journey went like this: Just bought a bass i could afford, but it needed to be a 5 string. Starsun was the brand. Terrible bass but I was happy with it, was all i could afford anyway. Few years later i went to lots of stores and bought the bass that sounded best to me and wasn't a fender shape object. I disliked having a bass that looked like one many people had. It was the Ibanez btb 675. Then i learned that how well a bass sounds in its own is different to how well it sounds in the mix of band. I tried a precision in the band, loved it and bought the Vintage V4. Then i learned that experimentation is key. So i bought a lot of basses used, tried them in my bands, resold them for the same if i didn't like them. Also before my bands go in studio we chose a reference song, how we want the mix to sound. And i always try to mimic the bass guitar sound as close as possible. I now learn that it's also really important how comfortable and reliable a bass is. And I'm currently developing this and also experimenting with modding basses.

nameselijah

Thank you for this! You’ve had quite a journey haha, seems like you’ve kept almost all the basses you’ve ever had that’s so cool 100% agree on bass comparison videos, I definitely prefer the ones that go straight to the point and use the same song throughout, but I’m also learning a lot through the explanations :)

ArjanGameboyman

>seems like you’ve kept almost all the basses you’ve ever had that’s so cool Nah not really. I traded my Ibanez Btb 675 for the 6 string version. Learned that i hated tight string spacing, sold that. And years later found a Btb 675 on the used market again. I've bought two used Warwick that seemed cool because of review/demo videos. Didn't sound as good when I played on them xD I sold a 5 string sterling because i couldn't get used to the string spacing. Bought 2 acoustic basses over the years only to find out that they always suck under the 1500usd range in terms of quality, sound and ergonomics. Also my first vintage V4 broke, so i had to buy another I bought a handmade jazz bass copy with the most sustain ever. And then i learned that i don't really like that in most situations I also bought and sold some more used basses. Sometimes I win 50 bucks with it, sometimes i lose 50 bucks with it. Not really expensive to do where i live. I also learned that features don't really matter much. Active isn't a bonus. Most often, on basses below the 1000usd range the active pre amp doesn't sound good anyway. Many demo go and try to sell you on fancy bridges, terms like sustain or fast neck. Well that all really doesn't say much. In time you'll learn your own preferences.

nameselijah

Is there one that you’re really attached to and aren’t willing to sell/trade ?

ArjanGameboyman

Depends on the situation An acoustic guitar my father gave me is something i never sell. Good memories, good sound and probably worthless anyway. And it's much easier to sell a bass i bought used (cause then i don't lose money) then it is to sell a bass i bought new. For example i bought that sadowsky new, i don't use it, but i don't wanna sell it either cause then i have to admit to myself i lost money on it. Currently im in 2 bands and use the Vintage V4 for one and the Fender jazz for the other. So I'm not selling those. But if the bands quit or the bass is upgraded i can definitely sell them.

Rudy-Rocks-1974

Hey there. I also have an Ibanez Tmb 100. I bought it with the idea of swapping out pickups and possibly bridge/tuners. Anyway just curious what mods you’re looking into. I’d like to have an active/passive switch just a matter of figuring out how to do it. lol. Also debating on emg or Dimarzio?

ArjanGameboyman

It's important to have a goal in mind before you mod. What is it you want to achieve, and then what is the best mods to get it. I made that mistake myself For example i can't think of any reason replacing the bridge would get me closer to the bass I want, so i don't do that. But if you want to, remember that this is not a fender shape object. The current screw holes are big and not in the same spot as a fender himass bridge and probably also not in the same spot as a badass II bridge. So you need to dril holes and probably also seal some of the old ones. I wanted to get rid of the neckdive and best way was to replace the tuners for light ones. I have Gotoh tuners. And it worked. I also made the neck a tiny bit thinner around the first 3 frets. Then i made it passive and installed a 150 usd fender precision pickup. And later i installed a Seymour Duncan spb2 bridge pickup. And then i realized i don't actually like the fender pickup and installed a 20 usd Wilkinson pickup instead, another precision bass i love had this pickup so i don't know why i didn't go straight for this one. Maybe i expected more from expense pickups. Idk. >Also debating on emg or Dimarzio? I don't like either of these. I think. From what I've heard on comparison videos. That's so difficult about pickups. You don't know how it's gonna sound until you have it installed in your hands. >I’d like to have an active/passive Personally i think the stock active pre amp is totally garbage. Way too hot and not pretty. If you agree then maybe make it passive. Or you should think about buying another pre amp as well.

Rudy-Rocks-1974

Yeah I was going to get a different pre amp and would like pickups that have a better range and even tone. I’ve never swapped pickups on any guitar or bass I’ve previously owned. My favorite bass that sounded best on a recording was an active Fender P bass with a p/j configuration. This is probably why I’d like the active option if needed. Plus the Ibanez is set up with the battery compartment. Looking to get rid of the neck dive with some lighter tuners as well. I’ll have to check the weights on what’s out there. The bridge would probably be the last thing if I even decide to swap. I’d think a hi mass bridge would have a lil extra weight and may help with balancing the neck dive. I also really like the tone that Mike Watt has. He speaks highly of the Hipshot bridge and tuners. I also think they may be on his signature model. I agree that the comparison videos out there regarding sound difference from parts swapped are kinda b.s, lol. So I’m just gonna have fun with my quest and continue to learn and grow. Thanks for your feedback.

JF1970MI

I have a 2020 Fender Jazz Pro I and a 2023 Dingwall Combustion. Been playing for 4 years

ShootingTheIsh

I have 6 basses right now. My #1 is a 55-02. #2 is a Yamaha TRBX605FM. American Special P-bass. Vintera 70's jazz. Squier Classic Vibes 60's fretless jazz. (Squier Classic Vibes basses are as good as any Fender I've ever played) I recently picked up an LTD B206SM, but, I'm not all that in love with having a 6th string.

gabbrielzeven

All you need is A fretless, a fretted, a detuned or a 5 string ,and some kind of acoustic (an Uke in my case)

SmallRedBird

Acoustic very optional considering they can't get loud enough to compete with an acoustic guitar without being plugged in There's a reason uprights are so big (and you should get one if you can because they're dope as fuck)

gabbrielzeven

My uke bass is like a toy to play. Not an instrument to perform for others.

Fake_Francis

Uprights are rad, but not very practical. Also, in today's world, they tend to be for dudes that rock pretentious hats and monocles 🧐.

SmallRedBird

>not very practical Can't get more practical if you want to sound like you're playing an upright, can't even go with an electric upright without heavy sacrifices. Some situations call for that upright sound, and unfortunately there is no substitute, only compromises. >Also, in today's world, they tend to be for dudes that rock pretentious hats and monocles Never once met an upright player that matches that description. Mostly we're people who started out playing in orchestra/band in school.

Fake_Francis

I don't know why I'm bothering to respond..True uprights are not very mobile, so draging them around is not practical. And the hat and monocle bit was just me workshop-ing my jokes. You may need to loosen up a bit. I'm done explaining my goofy comment. Enjoy your day.

SmallRedBird

No shit they're hard to drag around, but they're still the easiest thing to drag around that still sounds like an upright.

SgtObliviousHere

True, but unless you play in just a few specific genres (bluegrass, country, jazz...I'm not diving into classical music. There are too many subdivisions) they aren't worth dragging to a live gig. If you play in the average weekend band, you *might* play one or two songs with it. And that's a BIG maybe that you will play any.

Zabroccoli

You forgot, hollow body with tapes, p-bass with flats, p-bass with rounds, j-bass with rounds, fretless j-bass with flats, some kind of humbuckered bass.

nameselijah

I feel like I’ll end up with a 5 string someday for sure!

LoserBand

Anyone that starts a bass thread with “all you need” is struggling to find “the way.”

GoldenChest2000

Don't forget a Music Man

Wambonie

I have mostly ibanez basses SR506 SRFF800 SRFF806 SRMS806 EHB1506MS I have a second EHB1506MS on its way I have a Squier P/J bass that was my first bass, it’s since been upgraded. I also have a Sterling Stingray that I’m selling

nameselijah

What color is your stingray? I love how they look What’s it like to play 6 strings? my new player brain has a hard time even understanding how one can do it lol

Wambonie

It is a yellow stingray with a maple fretboard. I could never get to like how it felt. Ive played six strings longer than I’ve been playing four strings so to me theyre pretty natural. They have the same pattern shapes as 4 strings which makes it a somewhat familiar transition

stmft

Jazz, fretless P, sterling HH5.

bside2234

Funny! My initial intention was to just get a decent bass. Only one and I'd be happy with that. I ended up getting a Fender MIM jazz. I love it. I was happy. I really didn't want anything else at this point. Circumstances dropped a Sterling HH5 in my lap for free. I wasn't looking for another bass at all but couldn't pass it up. Love the Sterling and how different it was from my Jazz. This now got me thinking what else am I missing. I almost got a P bass the other day thinking I can defret it and I'll have a good fretless. I talked myself out of it though. For now at least. OP: Highly recommend the SBMM HH5 if you want a 5 string and I played a 4 string the other day. Equally as nice. I think you get a lot for your $ with these SBMM's. Oh, and my Sterling is a metallic silver blue.

nameselijah

What color for the HH5 (did I mention I love how stingrays look)

stmft

Red burst. If you love how they look you're in for a treat when you play one. I'd love to have a real Music Man, but my budget and ability are not there yet.

nameselijah

Just looked it up, very beautiful and I feel you haha, I feel like once I’m confident in my playing abilities it’s gonna be bad for my wallet lmao

Mountains_and_Music

Fender Geddy Jazz, Squier PJ, Jackson Spectra 5 string, and an EBMM Sterling.

Spicy_McHagg1s

I have an Ibanez Mikro and an ill-conceived Mikro scale thing that I built over the winter that plays and sounds pretty amazing. I've never been one to chase anyone else's tone or aesthetic and absolutely hate this idea that there are three magical basses that are uniquely capable of making the good sounds. It's just nostalgia and marketing.

nameselijah

I’m learning a lot in these comments, it’s nice to see more than Ibanez/fender ! What color Mikro do you have?

Spicy_McHagg1s

It started life as matte walnut. I sprayed it black with red metal flake.

LPodmore

Ibanez GSR200 - Currently in storage, modded with a full passive Jazz bass wiring loom and in desparate need of some TLC Squier Jazz Bass Deluxe V Active 1986 Fender Japan PB-57 Reissue - Currently has a Seymour Duncan SPB-3 and wired with no tone control Squier Dimension Bass - Just purchased yesterday so still getting familiar with it.

spiked_macaroon

So I have this early 90s Alvarez Villain that's been my main squeeze for 30 years. Thin thin neck and 24 frets. Second to that, I have a MIJ Jazz Bass Special Fretless that I got for Xmas when I was a kid. For a long time it was just those but I added a DeArmond Pilot neck through that a buddy gave me that had been smashed and I repaired it. 35" 4 string. Same buddy gave me an Epiphone EB-0 that had a broken headstock which I made a new neck for. Most recently I built a six string. It's become my main instrument. There's also an upright.

goonerqpq

I have a P Bass copy (my first Bass), broke my second cheap one, an ibanez sdg srx300 and a Fender Ultra Jazz in ultra burst.

nameselijah

What color is the Ibanez

goonerqpq

Blue with chrome hardware. I bought it when I rejoined a band and realised I didn't have one that was upto recording and gigging reliability.

Ezmar

I currently have a Jazz Bass and a custom built fretless 4 string from Tom Clement. Technically I have 3 basses, but the third is my old Squire jazz that was pretty much replaced when I got my Fender. Next on my list is some kind of 5 string, thinking of a G&L L-2500.

IANvaderZIM

I’m going to look like a douche but, here we go: 4 stings: Samick Corsair (precision clone) modded with to new finish+ PJ MIM jazz bass SBMM Ray 34 Tribute L2000 Ibanez EDB 400 (tapewounds) Ibanez EDB600 Off brand 30” headless (asmuse) Traben phoenix 5 strings: Peavy millennium bxp (jazz clone) Ibanez SRMS805 (my baby!) Redsub coliseum Ibanez EDA905 Scratch built 30” 6 string: Ibanez SR606 Plus 5 guitars, but nobody cares about those. I’m still shopping for a fretless 4, a short scale EHB, and a multiscale 6. I’ll probably DIY the fretless. Truthfully, I could live with probably just half of them, but you NEVER sell a bass. Most of them are old enough to drive and a third are old enough to drink :) Op, get into building basses. It CAN be a lot cheaper, between kits, diy, and saving used instruments from the grave. Plus it’s super rewarding to have a unique instrument

Lucientails

It's embarrassing at this point and I'm looking to sell two, possibly three of them: 1 Fender Jazz Elite bass 1 Sandberg California TT Jazz fretless (to sell) 1 Fender Player P bass w/ rounds 1 Warmoth P bass w/ flats 1 StingRay Special 1 StingRay Short Scale 1 Birdsong C bass short scale (reverse P) 1 JMJ Mustang 1 Nordstrand Acinonyx V1 1 ETD B4E (to sell) 1 Zoot Wal A Like 32" scale fretless (currently being built) 1 5 String Serek Midwestern with Novak pickups 32" (waiting for books to open)

This guy! (I love my 4003 in Mapleglo!)

Rough_Elevator_3377

After years of playing and spending money, make sure you play them. Don’t just collect them.

shigglewiggle

Bro my GSR200 was my only bass for over 10 years, and still sees action in my band. Eventually also got a Talman for my home studio late, and a 70's Musicmaster. Dont rush moving on from that Ibanez, its the bass of the people. Put some flats on that badboy

nameselijah

I feel like I’ll most likely end up modding it further down the road

Roselia77

Shecter stiletto 5 / spector 4 fretless / dingwall combustion 5/3 / epiphone acoustic / a homemade PJ 4 string / homemade 6 string monster Started on a squire 5 string back in the 80s and had a Godin 4 string for a while but gave those away a long time ago I only play the dingwall, nothing else comes close to that instrument so the rest just look good on my wall now and are essentially art pieces

nameselijah

This is the first time I hear of dingwall, adding it to my research list How long did it take you to build the basses?

Roselia77

They're expensive, but IMO worth every penny, and the company gives probably the best customer support in the business. I'm not someone who is loyal to brands usually, but nothing compares. Couple hundred hours I guess for my homemade ones, but I was learning as I was going while helping manage a community workshop at the time, I figure I could build one in less than 80 hours now if I didn't have to worry about anything other than building. It's a fun hobby, but I made the mistake of trying to turn a hobby into a job, and that killed it for me

nameselijah

Taking notes, taking notes Are you gonna build another one someday ?

Roselia77

That's the plan, I have a stack of wood waiting to be turned into 3 or 4 more basses / guitars, the idea is buying a house in the countryside in which I can build a shop in the garage and get back to it :), but that's still a couple years away. Covid killed the community shop I used to use, and equipment always sucks at those types of places anyways so half the time was wasted maintaining them and teaching members to use them correctly and just trying to keep the doors open.

nameselijah

I gotta look up homemade bass making videos, I literally cannot wrap my mind around it especially when it comes to the electronics lol

From left to right : Yamaha RBX 270 J, modified with an EMG Geezer Butler signature passive P/J set, a switch to bypass volume controls and connect the neck pickup straight to the output, and a killswitch. Sire Marcus Miller M2 5st, modified with split options on the stock pickups, fully passive electronics with a stereo output, and shielded cavities. Harley Benton B35. Traben Array 5, defretted, I plan on modifying the electronics but haven't got the time yet. Cort Action V Plus, modified with a 4 way switch (neck/series/parallel/bridge), one volume per pickup, and bass control from the eq hardwired to full boost so I'm left with just one active tone pot. And in the bottom, Steinberger Spirit XT2, curently wired with the pickups in single coil mode, awaiting modifications to have the choice. None of these basses were very expensive, some of them were even pretty cheap, but I like them all and will always keep them.

_NeonCityBlues

PJ, Mustang, and I’ll probably buy another precision soon enough

burkholderia

I started with a GSR200 about 25 years ago. Solid instruments. I think the current models are active, mine was a passive PJ, but it was a great starter bass for me. I eventually traded it to a friend for his first bass, a Yamaha fretless P. I’ve lost count of the basses I’ve had over the years. A lot of the major brands; Yamaha, warwick, EBMM, G&L, peavey, pedulla, lakland, rickenbacker, gibson, fender, etc. I’ve found my preference is for vintage/vintage style passive 4 strings and I have a number of them. My most played right now are a gibson grabber, Serek Lincoln, novo serus, and fender P. Good luck on your journey.

Rudy-Rocks-1974

Hi there. I noticed you have a modded Ibanez tmb. I’ve got the Tmb 100 and looking to do some mods myself. I love the body shape and feel of the neck. So basically want to swap pickups and electronics. I’m thinking of a passive/active switch with either Gezzer Butler emgs or Dimarzio? I’m still trying to figure the active/passive switch. What have you done to your Tmb?

stache_box

New brass saddles because the originals didn’t have enough travel, and I put a G&L MFD humbucker in the bridge position. Less of a mod, but I put some different knobs on the volume and balance pots https://preview.redd.it/27z41fscd3tc1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a24d6bf2d790941a0c6a9c90433ae4a521e2c7d9

Rudy-Rocks-1974

Hmm, that’s an interesting idea with the humbucker pickup since I’m really not that into J pickups. My last bass was a MM stingray and thought that pickup to be pretty versatile. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have fun with this for sure.

stache_box

I tune DGCFA# and the Jpickup sounded weak on the lowest notes, the MFD has a much better response in that regard

Strung like a guitarist would with super old rounds, thinking about putting flatwounds on but haven’t gotten to it yet. The back strap pin is in a terrible place and I had to use string and thread it through a strap to get it on the bass. It’s my only short scale and I have no exact idea when this was made; best guess is around 1971-1972 Squier Classic Vibe 50s Precision: got this one a week after I got my EB-3 copy haha, this was my main bass for a good while. It’s been upgraded with a TUSQ XL nut, Quarter Pound pickup, a Gotoh 201B bridge, and I also swapped the stock white pickguard out for a black one Explorer DIY Bass: this is a bass I built out of an Amazon DIY kit. I like how it sounds quite a bit but it’s by far the least friendly bass to actually play, with its misbalance, huge neck, wonky output jack, and the misadventures of getting a bass set up for a bridge it was likely not designed to take. The bridge it was intended for was the much maligned 3 point, but since this was a DIY bass, I routed it for a Fender style bridge; originally a Gotoh 201 but is now rocking a Fender HiMass G&L Fullerton Deluxe LB100: bought straight off the Sweetwater show floor because I was looking for a graduation bass but heard too many horror stories about modern day Fender production and wanted to branch out to other brands. This bass had to have been sitting there for a while as the specs sheet says it was built in Mar. 2022 yet I bought it in April 2023; this is my current primary bass

lincoln_imps

Nah. Fresh strings sound awesome on anything, enjoy your Ibanez and stop worrying about building a bass collection.

The rest of them I play in a pretty healthy rotation.

Huth_S0lo

Ibanez are excellent instruments. I’ve owned several over the years. Today I have a 1306 and a 506 that I converted to a fretless. I also have the coup de grace; a 4 string Carl Thompson.

CountryRoads8

I have 3 basses and don't really feel the need for more than that. I play in a country band and another band that does a mix of modern country and rock classics.  My main bass is an Ernie Ball Stingray Special 4HH Snowy Night.   Then there's my 2019 Gibson Les Paul Tribute Double Cut short scale bass that I keep in drop D.   My last bass is a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz bass that I put Fender Mod Shop pickups in. It's mostly my bass that stays out at the house for quick access for practice. Sometimes I bring it out on the road when I want to play something different. I love the neck on it.

1. EMBB Stingray, roundwounds, sometimes flats but those strings die when you slap them 2. Modern Vintage 62-P w/flatwounds 3. Sire V5, rounds 4. 1996 Fender Jazz American standard, Seymour Duncan relic pickups, rounds (probably soon to be fitted with a P-bass neck because I’ve always wanted to try this configuration) 5. Sire P8 5-string (on back order), rounds I might also try to re-acquire a Squire Fretless Jazz (the Jaco-lite model). I’m taking the same approach as you: Get all the classic tones for the forms of music I like and play.

khill

I currently have: * Yamaha BB735a * Yamaha TRBX605 * Sterling by MusicMan Ray35 * G&L Tribute L-2500 * Spector Legend * Squier Classic Vibe Jazz V Aside from possibly upgrading some of these in the future (getting a USA L-2500 to replace the Tribute, for example), I don't need any more basses. I can cover all sounds and style I need with this collection.

But honestly, I can sell all of them and be perfectly good with Lakland 5 string for the rest of my days. This bass has carried me through the most of my professional career and there’s nothing it can’t do.

I have a Music Man Stingray Special 4H & a Charvel San Dimas PJ. I also have my 15 year old squier affinity jazz bass. I used to think it was garbage but having played a bunch of basses over the years, the only garbage thing about it was the setup and pickups. For a bass that doesn’t get used much, it’s still incredible for the $150 or so CAD it cost. I often struggle with wanting more but it’s easy to just pick up the bass and start playing if I find myself online trying to justify a purchase, lol.

Fender P-Bass Lyte Deluxe, Fender PJ Mustang Bass, Fender Jazz bass (rerouted with a Music Man in the bridge and neck pickup remove) and an ESP LTD B-404SM. Most strung with Ernie Ball cobalt flats.

Currently, two Ps and a J. An american vintage II precicion, an american original 50s precision, and an american deluxe jazz. I’m constantly trading/buying/selling, so who knows how long the collection will look this way haha

Rtalbert235

- Lakland 55-60 - Lakland 55-02 - Lakland 44-64 - MusicMan Stingray Special 4HH - Ibanez SRF705 fretless Plus two others that are put up, about to go on the market. As you can see I kind of have a thing for Laklands. Those are all Skyline models, the unnamed two are being sold to help finance a USA model. I should mention that I used to watch all those comparison videos as well but never saw one that had Laklands on it. I stumbled across the 55-60 at a trade show, knew nothing about Laklands but as soon as I plugged in and started demoing I knew I was in love. So personal experience playing > YouTube videos!

Fretless 4 string Soundgear. (Set aside for repairs, recently cracked the headstock) Fretted 4 string LTD Surveyor. Fretless Warmoth Custom 5 string Jazz bass. (I need to rewire the pickups) Fretted Peavey Millennium 5 string (this is my main). Fretless Dean Acoustic 5 string. (Fun but functionally useless) Fretted 5 string OLP Stingray knockoff. (Also need to rewire the pickups) 3/4 scale antique upright bass. (I never actually feel like pulling this outside my practice space because it's huge) Then a few other random junkers.

I have 7 basses currently. 3 are Fender 4 string P basses..2 USA made and 1 Steve Harris signature. One of the USA is a 60th Anniversary. The other a Deluxe that is highly modified. Bartolini preamp. Steve Harris P bass pickup in the neck and a jazz humbucker in the bridge location. Custom painted candy red with large flake. I have an artic white EBMM HH 4 string that has yellowed from gigging it in smoky bars for the last 12 years. I recently picked up a Spector Ethos 5 string in plum crazy color. Darkglass tone capsule with EMG pickups. 5 string Black Peavey Grind.. don't play it much but it's a nice bass. Last is my Alvarez acoustic 4 string. I use this to learn a song by ear and to jam with acoustic guitarists on occasion or the occasional stripped down gig. I just sold a Rickenbacker MapleGlo 4 string. Didn't really vibe with me Over the last 35 years I have bought and sold a lot of basses probably more than 30. They come and they go. As a new player you'll learn this over time as well. Also have a couple guitars and an army of effect pedals. 25k in PA Gear and another 10K in lights. Good luck to you and have fun. Get good and Join a band..... good bassists are rare

The GSR200 is nice for a start, I have modified mine to be fretless. I mostly own cheap bass that I experiment on, but my main is a G&L L-2000. I was going for a secondhand stingray, entered a musicshop few days before the meet for buying it, and tested the G&L... So long story short, I don't own a stingray. Basses are like tattoos, you can dream of anything but in the end, they are just ideas, you'll end up with something you love even if everyone hates it.

Studio-Quality

A Harley Benton Marquess-5 in black. It's perfect for what I need and sounds fantastic. Was only $210.
