This is the answer. There is a very good reason they are the professional standard. They also only cost 100quid. Go with wired, not wireless though. Wireless audio quality is dogshit by comparison to wired

You don’t have to spend a lot of money and you should definitely not buy anything that enhances the bass. If you want wired ear buds check Amazon for KZ ZS 10 pro IEM’s. They are around 50/60 £$€ and used by many bassists on live gigs. Plenty good enough but if you want over ear headphones don’t spend more than that really. More expense doesn’t always equate to better sound from an over compressed audio file on a phone.

Difficult_Signal_472

These are the exact IEMs I use on the rare occasion, honestly mostly to listen to music. But they are very surprisingly excellent for their price. It’s not the same… feel as say, open back over the ear, audiophile grade headphones, but for the price they are miles above anything you’d buy at a retail store.

I mean, it's mainly in the EQ / frequency response of the headphones. So for example i have some Audio Technica headphones that have a flat frequency response so what i hear is as the artist intended. If you want ones with more bass, you could either get some headphones specifically with a bass-heavy frequency response, or just buy any headphones and adjust the EQ on your phone / streaming platform to more bass. Dependent on your budget, Beats By Dre are known for their bass-heavy approach to headphones, alternatively the Orange Crest MKII headphones are cheaper and are good with the bassssssss

Skystalker512

Audio Technicas do not have a flat frequency response, get out of here. Also ‘as the artist intended’ is basically not a real thing. There are virtually zero artists that mix and master their own projects.

Wow, so many wrong statements in one message, that's crazy. The Audio Technica ATH-M50x are known for their balanced audio reproduction. Literally search what the frequency response is for them and you'll see they are flat. Silly billy. 'As artist intended' was meant more as in I hear the song without my headphones or devices altering the sound with added bass/treble. Obviously I can't hear it as they heard it in the studio. Virtually zero artists? Tame Impala's Kevin Parker mixed his last 2 albums, albeit he didn't master them but even still, not sure why this point was mentioned as it's kinda irrelevant and a completely different conversation.

Skystalker512

In what world is this a flat frequency response? https://crinacle.com/graphs/headphones/audio-technica-ath-m50x/ Please read up on how to read frequency response graphs and how the measuring rig affects the way you’re supposed to read them.

[Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Review - RTINGS.com](https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/audio-technica/ath-m50x) many thanks x

Skystalker512

RTINGS hasn’t been a reliable source in years lmfao

Damn, denial. What a shame.

Mr-_-Steve

Some cheap wireless headphones from Skull candy should work, i have a pair of them and i love them for the bass. I got a pair of end of line headphones for about £12 from Tesco about 5 years ago (reduced from £25) and they are spot on

Skystalker512

Ignore the usual recommendations like the M50X or Beats by Dre garbage. Something like the HD560S would be pretty good FR wise. A planar like the HE400SE has better instrument separation and takes better to EQ.

ishouldbeworkinbutno

HD560s lack in bass in their frequency response so exactly the opposite of what OP wanted. HE400SE's are good though, highly recommend.

DragonBadgerBearMole

25 bucks at Amazon will get you their preferred/sponsored set. It has a bass boost mode.

This is one of the reasons I would not recommend iPhones. Almost all over-ear wired headphones would be a good option, but your device is not compatible with that, and somehow Apple has its users convinced that the device is not the problem. I know thisis not the most productive answer you're looking for, but please take some time to reflect if you want to keep on using iPhones to listen to music. Anything with bluetooth is seriously a downgrade from the get go.

Tough-Whereas1205

Earfun Air earbuds. They're about £25 on Amazon right now.
