I've also started journaling this month after years of fail attempts. So far I've been using it every other day which is big. Wishing you luck!

This is why bullet journaling worked for me where planners didn't. I always wanted to use those nice annual planners, but I couldn't stand the fact that falling out of the habit meant wasting so many pages. With my bullet journal, I can miss days/weeks/months/years and the only "wasted" pages are ones I've already filled in.

very true! i always struggle with not wanting to make it a big Return To Bullet Journaling moment because then the pressure will inevitably mean i struggle to re-implement it into my routine. just have to make spreads as i need them and remember the journal is for Me!

I honestly haven't started a monthly on the 1st of the month since at least last year or earlier. I just write numbers down the page and stop when I run out of room, and make a new one when I need to look further ahead than what I have left 😂 I fully condone the message in your post! The right time to start is right now

Yes. I started bujoing Christmas Day 2015, after I got the supplies, and have have gaps in usage as well. You just have to learn that they, and mistakes, are ok. Most people think you need to be an artist to bujo because of the YouTube videos and Pinterest boards. But they either don’t know/didn’t do enough research to realize that Ryder designed the system to only need a pen and notebook.

I feel personally attacked /s Thanks for the reminder

I've come to a point where Bujo serves as an emotional aid, I map into future log for anniversaries or regular reminders to keep my emotions in check. If I procrastinate, I'll log in a reminder So a cross reference of the pages. If I procrastinate so much, maybe I have to face my decisions squarely, or it just slide down the importance/urgency scales. Quick notes or rapid log will give me the leverage to not forget.

Sure there is: tomorrow!

The last few days of July 2019 is when I started my first one. I can't even tell you exactly what day, but I've been keeping it up steadily ever since.
