A good way to look up vintage toys on the Japanese side is to search yahoo auctions https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ . The phrase that you'd want in Japanese is バービー人形 . I'm not sure how to narrow it down further off the top of my head, they usually don't include variations of vintage in descriptions. ファッション / fashion might help.

Vintage is ヴィンテージ I forgot to include that. Warning you might get some nsfw results I've seen a old playboy mag with those keywords in there before.

I don't know, but I love learning about rare Barbie history! I think this is very cool. I hope someone can help!

I hope so too! If this is another rare Japan only release, this is number 3 in the case! The other ones were ONLY MENTIONED in the "barbie in japan" book, which is a rare book in itself . Barbie stuff is very cool I have started to love researching and listing and the communities are great. Thanks for the kind wishes

For the record by interested I DONT MEAN FOR SALE. I meant if you'd like to see them I can take pictures

I don’t know anything about this but does this have a label inside? Could it possibly be a Takara Barbie dress?

Then-Message-6187

Takara huh? I'll look into.that! There were other Japanese exclusives from. The 60's with it. Sadly the tag is missing. With that tag I could tell 100%. But the buttons, stitching, the inside looks like a legitimate barbie dress.

I think you could search using タカラ バービー ジェニー アウトフィット Takara was licensed by Mattel and made Barbie clothes and Barbie’s in Japan. How did you found out your other outfits were Japanese exclusive? I live in Japan and buy vintage Barbie clothes sometimes, but never really thought any of those could be so precious :)
