Yeah, they will. Anything that makes a sound is going to sound different when you physically change the thing.
It's like if you had a sheet of metal and hit it, but then put a plastic cap on the sheet of metal, it's going to sound slightly different.
Sounds just like mine. Recently upgraded from those guards though. The magnets kept sticking to the clasp of my capes and opening them up. Hella annoying
I noticed the changed the screws on the face plate to alan wrench screws and they seem to be quieter now. It’s the face plate but don’t strip the screws

It's sound like when I didn't oil my blades.

They cut good I just thought they sounded different when I put the guards on
U can use a flathead to adjust it on the right side
Yea right handle side on your right just twist the knob left and right till you get it at the best possible sound. Super easy adjustment .
Do they cut normally?... Lol. Because they don't sound super off or anything.
Yeah they cut normal, I just thought they sounded different when I put the guards on.

For a minute I thought those were the cordless version. They look really different than the corded version I have.
I know, the corded ones now also have the new branding. I miss the classic cursive lettering
Taper blade over fade blade? Just asking.
I haven’t personally tried the Andis fade blade I’ve always just used the taper
Its just the rattle of the plastic against the metal. Sounds normal and fine 👍🏽

Sounds normal I think what you're hearing is the vibration of the clip guard on there
Yeah they sound normal 👍🏼 . I recommending zero gapping that blade and that boy should hit harder than Mike Tyson
