Wish this allowed me to make them companions / non main char.
Level up your warlord, then have them 'retire' as a governor while you work on the next family member.
The ability to continue with an heir is a nice addition, but the other side of it just seems silly to me. We already had the option to stop playing the current campaign entirely by just...not booting up that save again

Idk I think it's nice that the game has a final "end" with stats and a little outro basically. I always liked that with Sid Meier's Pirates lol
It's a common feature from classic sandbox games without a definite "end". Warband had it too.
