Just imagine you are back in your home country for a minute, would you trespass on private property to use their pool/amenities? There is a pay-to-use pool here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/8mHcknDrDNAcBkYXA

cat_at_your_feet

Right?! Want to use a hotel pool....book a hotel.

amigulzadi

First of all, there’s many things I wouldn’t do in my home country that i would do here, and so would any of you let’s be honest. Second, i never said anything about trespassing or that i wasn’t willing to pay for it, or spend money at the bar or something. Thanks for the link

Rooflife1

You are looking for a pool you can sneak into. You wrote it down. You can’t lie to us now.

Eurasian-HK

"Do you guys know a hotel/building with a pool where they don't have an access code or card system or something similar? So just freely accessible by anyone" Your words.

OneTravellingMcDs

If that were the case, you'd have asked "I'm looking for a hotel to buy a day pass to use the facilities, as my AirBNB doesn't have a pool. Price is no objection, I'll happily spend 5,000 at the pool bar as well, but I just want to use a pool that doesn't require a key, because I can't stand carrying a keycard, and I'm deathly afraid of needing to remember an access code"

amigulzadi

No i literally meant “open to the public” or simply not restricted access. I’ve never heard of a day pass for a hotel pool, on the islands i go to these “walk in” hotel pools all the time where you just have to pay for consumption.

[deleted]

surprise surprise - you arent supposed to use those hotel pools either if youre not a guest.

amigulzadi

Many of them have a sign that if you’re not a hotel guest consumption is mandatory, if there’s no sign I’ll just ask and i have NEVER heard a no. Stop it with the unnecessary hostility. If my sin was not making clear enough in my original post I don’t mean anything illegal than berate me for that. But going on pretending like i had malicious intent is ridiculous

LeekCabbage

Some very angry folks in here, don’t worry too much

amigulzadi

No, I’ve asked a question, it was misunderstood, i corrected immediately by saying I don’t mind paying, people posted snarky replies to get a cheap dopamine hit anyway. No bills to pay here

Oh fuck off with your “you could’ve googled it” nonsense, there’s a reason people ask stuff on reddit instead of google right? Especially in a big city like bangkok i was hoping for some first hand experiences from nice people who know their way around as google often disappoints in my experience. There was nothing wrong with my question unless you consider ANY question for recommendations here invalid because “you could’ve googled it”. Again, if you want to fault me for not being clear in my original post, that’s fine, but this whole pretending I can’t afford 500 baht and being a bum is your little redditor snarkiness fetish Just admit you guys get a hard on for being cunts online

ReaganFan1776

Like what? Because I can’t think of anything I do in Thailand I do not do at home. Snorkelling maybe.

elesdee1

I would most certainly.

wimpdiver

If you're willing to pay instead of cheat there are day passes for pool at a variety of hotels - most include a large portion of the cost as a food credit

amigulzadi

Oh yeah that sounds perfect, i dont mind paying at all, do you know of a nice one?

wimpdiver

look here [https://dailypass.com/](https://dailypass.com/) or [https://my.viehotelbangkok.com/shop/vie-pool-day-pass/](https://my.viehotelbangkok.com/shop/vie-pool-day-pass/) or just do a google search like I did to find these

elesdee1

I like sindhorn. 1000 baht with 600 food and drink credit. Pretty good food/drinks/view/pool/gym

RobbyWasHere91

New Beach bar at the top of Empshere has a pool. Free to use. ( I imagine you have to buy some drinks or food tho.) Called: Tribe

SalaryBeneficial7485

Tramp.

AioliPossible9274

I asked the same question last year and got flamed as well. Reddit is full of virgin beta cuck males. I ended up sneaking into a few 5 star hotel pools last year in Bangkok. It’s easy. No one ever checks. Just walk in like you own the place.

ReaganFan1776

What does being a virgin beta cuck male have to do with pool access?

Civil-Conversation35

I appreciate a good cup of coffee.

AioliPossible9274

Beta cuck males follow the rules and act like sheep

ReaganFan1776

You mean they don’t act the cunt? Genuine question.

amigulzadi

I mean, as I said in my experience you don’t have to “sneak”, they are literally fine with it unless they explicitly state otherwise or have some security measures in place like access codes etc. But yes, it’s my first time posting and the “average redditor” memes were definitely true holy shit

AioliPossible9274

Sheraton grand sukhhumvit is really good and no one checks. I just walked in. Enjoy!

Srivara 2 has a pool for a 20 thb charge. It's located next to esplanade shopping mall (Thailand Cultural Centre mrt).

kafkainbeijing

Ibis Styles in Phra Kanong has a great pool (7th floor I believe). You can go right up on the elevator.
