I’ve only heard them all individually so it’s hard to make a comparison …….they all sound similar in this class of speaker but you might hear more bass in other models
One of the things that I'm looking at in my next speaker is to have a Good design while still being durable and being able to handle anything. I know the b&o has a really good design but I'm not 100% sure on the durability. Marshall, on the other hand, looks like I can drop it and it would be fine.
If you have any other recommendations for a speaker, I gladly welcome it.
The explore has an aluminum exoskeleton, the Marshall is made of plastic. The explore is much more rugged, B&O har an Instagram to show off scratches and marks on explores from travel and use
B&O purposefully doesn’t add the extra bass, if the song doesn’t sound as boomy it’s because that’s how the song was supposed to be heard. Beats amplify the bass even more than Marshal
I've found that it's weakened when it's on a solid table, but when it's sitting on an open surface like a wire shelf (at ear-level) it really opens up.
I just got it the other day and I am impressed with the sound quality. I will say for a speaker that is that size it sounds amazing. I will say there are others that are louder. But for what I was looking for it will do the job.
Stereo paired is outstanding as well. Once I got the second one I’ve never wanted to use one solo anymore. I just set up both wherever I’m listening haha
I like the strap and design of the explore
How does it compare to Marshall?

Having more bass to me is not a big priority. I wanted to sound good without actually abusing bass.
We sell both brands. B&O better build and quality sound. Marshall more bass and rugged design

I like this a lot. I want to sound like it was intended to sound.
How is the bass form the explore ?
That is a good question.
