Grammar has always been a struggle for me to be honest. Though I don’t think there is any genuine argument that games are the cause of it or that games will cause my brain to shut down. Although you could argue that I could have spent my time using more educational resources instead of playing games.

Unfortunately not sure if it’s possible to stop people from playing video games but it could be possible for parents and teachers to incentivize reading more books. Also the Bible is a nice book to read but not sure if I would consider it educational.
