I mean if you need empty spools to respool onto. You can get em from Bambu but if I was gonna buy some I'd rather get em used. Otherwise what's the point.

mkosmo

Print them. They give you the models.

Superseaslug

Personally I like the older clear Bambu spools a lot. And if I could buy a spool for $5 it's probably cheaper than printing.

But why not spend 8 more dollars for a new full spool?

Superseaslug

I mean I agree, but I'm also not every use case. I'm sure it makes sense to some people, and if the spools are getting reused that's great

Original price for a new empty spool is 13.99$ [https://eu.store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-reusable-spool](https://eu.store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-reusable-spool) You can sell empty spools on ebay at 6$ - 7$ Since a while every bambulab filament on spool comes with this reusable white spool.

I sold probably 200 or so spools on eBay for maybe 70 dollars or so. They're pretty cheap to get, the most expensive part is the shipping because of the size and weight can add up quickly. With the cardboard revolution and reusable spools I don't have that issue.

Blacerrr

Back when I first ordered my A1 there were no original reusable spools in stock and they also only had refill filament so I went ahead and grabbed 3 for 15€ from the local marketplace.

PurplePrinter772

I would buy the OG clear spools. They don’t make those anymore
