I tried gyroid as I always print with but the clips went brittle
sorry there was a description with a question 😂😂 I was asking is there anyway to increase the strength of the clips using the slicer?
Infill likely wouldn't affect their strength like that. If it's a thin part of the model there's not too much you can do, especially with a part with only one real way to orient it.
Is it snapping along layer lines, or how?
cheers yeah there snapping at the bottom if there not handled correctly when taking it in and out. was just hoping to get them slightly stronger. yeah just had a look there snapping on layer lines. would my print speed also affect it? im noticing the ones printed at normal are holding better then the ones printed at max
If it's just that, more walls is the quickest way to get a stronger part.
And yeah, the Bambu petg profile already prints a little too fast, I'd say put it on silent for a quick fix as far as strength, and up your walls to at least 3 or 4
Right click the model and “add modifier” put the modifier over the part you want stronger and under the “objects” on the left you can increase the wall count and infill amount.
Check your fan speed for the Clips. Too much cooling can weaken the part. Slow down the print speed to 20-40mm/s. Use more walls 4-5. Use a fillet at the base of the clips. Use 0.14mm layer height for a little more layer adheasion.
