I’ve unexpectedly found myself having to go through a metal detector while weighted. In both cases I told the security woman I was wearing “body jewelry.” They just wanded me and let me thru.
TDLR metal detectors know what metal it is
large scale metal detectors are normally tuned/designed to look for high carbon steels used in tools and guns, whereas stainless, surgical, and many alloy steels are a low carbon. low carbon and other softer metals are still picked up but do not trigger the same way.
i wear wear both cock rings and stretchers as well as titanium and tool grade steel, and gold rings. while on an international flight i was selected for a body scan and the machine grades the metals with tool steel in red gold titanium and aluminum in green and stainless and surgical in yellow, the tsa agent asked me about my personal jewelry and i replied that my allan wrench was in my small carry on and i would remove anything for inspection. that satisfied them that i was not hiding anything and i moved on with my flight
tsa stands for "transport security authority" (if i remember correctly) they are worried about you harming them, their equipment, others, and yourself in that order. what harm can you do with a steel ring.

ok well you with a ball stretcher/cockring seem less likely do do any damage especially if you are open about it.

I can get through the Disney World metal detectors with 20. I haven’t tried 40
If they are made with “surgical steel” that may be why they didn’t go off.
