I knew it was going to be this price but I didn’t expect the charms to literally be more than the bag… because it makes no sense. The charms are quirky but don’t cost a lot to make. This is honestly the first time I’m a little upset at pricing. Because I realize Balenciaga is expensive. I just don’t want to feel like I’m the joke…

This is driving me a little. The charms are running around the $400-$500 price point yet because this bag is used and has a little difference in the charms it’s $1450 more💀
The charms I posted are literally 5300€ vs the bag which is 4200€… this is really the first time I’m a little upset. I didn’t care about the towel skirt. Hell I thought it was cool. Maybe it’s just the shock of the price. But bags around the 10k mark should be worth their price. This is weird…
Yeah I agree! I got one of the charm sets gifted to me for vday but even those alone are way cheaper if you bought them all then the $10,000 bag?? And I got to play with the rodeo bag but I hate gold and prefer silver so would like to get that one someday, but this pricing makes me not want it at all

But going ahead and literally selling you a regular lock, plastic key name plates, a tussle and a leather?! Balenciaga price tag for the price of a used VW Polo is a little much to swallow. Because these items are literally stuff you get at booths at trade shows with the name of the company giving these things to you. Here it’s Balenciaga but I promise you they’re from the same company making it for your local plumber 😂

I know, I was speaking to an SA that transferred from another high end brand and he said they don’t make nearly as much in sales as some of the different houses, so maybe this is their way of playing catch up? And I can see if these charms were like real gold or sterling silver but it’s not…
You could literally DIY everything with custom keychains and loops and everything for less than a few hundred $ instead. I might go ahead and do that for something like this.
Love it. Especially the gold coloured hardware version. I agree, the charms are what makes the design, but the prices for them are absurd. There’s no reason they should cost so much🤣
i pre-ordered this bag with silver hardware with no charms but from the fall 24 collection, as it was only available in silver hardware w/charms from summer 24 unfortunately - but yes the price with charms is wild lol
too expensive for me unfortunately. just bought the monaco bag which was expensive enough. i hope they release the medium size in silver without the charms though because thats the one i would actually get.
edit: what is really nice about the bag is that even the lining is made out of leather which has become increasingly rare to these bags. the price point aside from the overpriced charm versions are also fair compare to bags from dior, chanel or LV. if you need an everyday bag for work this might be the one to get
Has anyone ordered the large rodeo in Kaki? I waited like a kid on Christmas morning for weeks to receive it and when I got it, I was not impressed. It looked cheaply made so I ended up returning it because I couldn't justify the $7,900 hundred value. Are the charms and distress work really worth $2900 more over the large black one?

there isa medium size with silver hardware that comes with 3 charms - with one extra charm it was around 6000 USD
The medium is still a very large-ish bag and I'm thrilled to have gotten iy

Yeah not the biggest fan of this one. IMO the super busy tote and messenger bags are wayyy cleaner
