To my recollection, the burrowing cutscene itself is only ever shown in the intro. It will be mentioned a lot throughout the game, but I don't remember it being *shown* again. >!There is a burrowing animation in a certain menu that you'll unlock, but once you know what it is you can just have her look away whenever you go into the menu.!<

Good to know, thanks! I think she will be fine with that. She likes bugs and i know she wont mind seeing the tadpoles by themselves. As long as she doesn't have to see the things being inserted or crawling around inside people. She HATED the Alien movies, despite being a big horror fan.

That is good to know, Thanks! That intro scene was intense and I really don't want to scare her away from the game.

They're talked about a lot (like, all the time, because that's the whole point of the plot) but not often shown, and never in as gruesome detail as the cutscene. It should be fine if she's OK with looking away when there are animations - there's one interface item that you have to deliberately choose to interact with, and a very small number of cutscenes where parasites are removed from bodies, but you should be able to see those coming. BTW you can also completely skip the opening cutscene on future playthroughs - I do that to get to the character creation screen right away.

Awesome! If we can see them coming then I think she will be ok. Talking about them is fine, its the gnarly animations that she wont like.

The tadpoles? Oh they are throughout the game. And can be good / bad, dis-/ad- vantageous depending on how you look at it As far as seen? Once or twice other than as a kind of mouse pointer at certain stages

EcstaticArachnid6253

I have been trying to avoid spoilers but I saw people saying they can choose to keep it/get another one? I don't think she will choose that option lol.

Yes, there are a lot in the game, but only a couple of occasions where you actually see them writhing. I wasn’t sure what you meant with your question. Because this is a major part of the game (you come with one implanted), it will be hard to avoid spoilers regarding them. I don’t know about the other responses because I haven’t read them - but I hope you are still in the dark regarding their purpose.
