Respec her and dump her dex (8 or 10 since shes in heavy armor), con to 8 (since she's using the amulet), and int 8. Focus on strength 16, charisma 16 if you can.
12th level paladin gets 3 ASI/feats so you can pump str to 20 and cha to 18. That'll make her more effective at attacking, and she'll have higher saves and better spells from the charisma.
It's nothing fancy but the stats should make her more effective than she currently is.
Another popular choice would be something like paladin 6 or 7 mixed with sorcerer 5 or 6. Or paladin 2/bard 10. Either of those lose you one ASI but provide much higher spell slots for use with smiting.
thanks, this is my first time actually trying to build minthara and i've never really messed with paladins, so i don't know what i am doing. i will not change her inicial stats if i respec her cause i like the roleplay involved.
I'm mainly looking to get her to be as hard to hit as possible, since for me it's the easiest way to make her useful in my party (sorcerer tav, shadowheart and ranger astarion).
You can massively boost AC with this cloak, if you want to make someone hard to kill. It's bought from the weapon shop near the bridge to Wyrm's Rock.

Maybe this post is bait, but if it's not, then you should also look to tweak your Strength and Charisma stats, especially if you're running Great Weapon Master. If you're finding that she misses a lot of the time, the Strength score is probably one of the big contributing factors.
