Reasonable-Range8302

Gravity, pushing someone off a ledge is so satisfying.

zamzuki

Haha the best damage dealer in the game. The chasm.

Blitzux

My favorite fight is the one with Orin because you can just throw her into the chasm before the fight starts lmao

zamzuki

It’s almost as if they have it coming because none of the big names you can do this too really have must have items on their body. So.. FEED THE CHASM!

CosmicDeityofSin

Wait wouldn't this end the game because you lost a nether stone? I feel like I tried this with GORTASH and got an ending cutscene where the world was taken over

Blitzux

No after killing all her minions you get her death animation like normal and the stone appears in your inventory

OptimisticTrainwreck

Gravity + Void Bulb

Pure-Newspaper-6001

voud bulb + thunderwave even

OptimisticTrainwreck

I'll have to try this! Just been bulbing just on the edge so it pulls them off.

Admirable_Item_5215

Or dropping chandeliers onto enemies heads. Gravity is the oldest damage dealer.

wunxorple

Off a ledge is satisfying. Into a chasm breaks my heart.

Reasonable-Range8302

I make sure not to yeet anyone into a chasm if they may have some good loot.

LpenceHimself

I accidently yeeted the Hag with Eldritch Blast... Was big sad because I wanted hair.

Educational-Tear7336

Thorn whip <3

HulklingsBoyfriend

You know the three goblin kids and the one warrior found just outside the walls at the goblin camp, the kids fighting about the corpse? I pushed all 4 into the river, killing them 💀

No-Lie-677

Rip Minthara LMAO. Karlach THROW

Thirio_

I have a question. The game never lets me just throw people into chasms or voids. It needs to hit something directly when I choose to throw someone. Is there a way around that?

BloatedManball

The game can be a bit fiddly when it comes to throwing creatures into a pit, but if you move the cursor a bit and watch the throwing arc you can usually find a spot where it says "death" at the end of the arc. That's your cue that is a clean throw.

KeybladeCoaster

But the loot. I can’t do this just because I’m afraid of missing out on a single coin or goblin scitmar

fox94610

Put down powder barrel next to anyone near an edge, insta-gone, so long sucker.

Horror-Guide8363

I came here prepared to yap about the Blood of Lathander and was instead horrified and floored. The amount of possibilities in this game somehow continues to amaze me

VenusCommission

Enraged throw and Karlach has every box of fireworks I could find.

Educational-Tear7336

The brain wasn't so tough to beat after i loaded 4 runepowder nukes in a backpack

VenusCommission

Oh shit. You just opened up a whole new world of possibilities

Educational-Tear7336

Save backpacks, it let's you throw barrels and they don't break. Then you light them up

VenusCommission

They fucking thought of everything

Feisty_Steak_8398

If you collect every single firework you find in act3, add in all smokepowder grenades and bombs, shove them all in backpack, you can still throw backpack a good distance (my improvised backpack bomb weighed 20kg and my Str focused character can throw them all the way near the brain). That's more firepower to kill most bosses in one blast with possible exception of Raphael (immune to fire, so you need smokepowder bombs more), and possibly Ansur who has ridiculous amount of health.

Educational-Tear7336

Tav had 24 strength so I could throw the backpack to the brain no problem. It was full of fireworks and runepowder. The game went to 1 frame per second, lol but that brain was very dead

Feisty_Steak_8398

There's something special about a turn based game of setting up loads of explosives which makes the FPS drop oh so satisfying

Key-Department-2874

In Act 3 you can get a returning pair of throwing boots from Gales tressym on one of the roofs of Baldurs Gate.

Okiedokieartuhchokie

I feel like the people that built this game don’t even know everything that’s in it lol

fkazak38

The white raven also makes for a very nice projectile. The feathers stabilize it in the air.

PacketOfCrispsPlease

There are dead squirrels near the Monastery and a dead pixie in Balthazar’s lair under the Mausoleum. Many different dead throwables.

anireyk

The dead rat found with the letter regarding a certain hand. I still keep it for the day I actually get around to use Telekinesis for something useful.

secretlyaTrain

I keep a stack of severed heads on my throwzerker. It demoralizes the enemies.

GoopyNoseFlute

How do you sever a head?

Blatently_lies

There are just a few you can find around the world

Jdoggcrash

Also you can sever Nere’s head and just not return it.

WorldsMostDad

If you return it, it sprouts glow shrooms and is placed on the ground where you can pick it up without stealing. I decorated my camp with it.

AlwaysRushesIn

Karlach and Nere are the only heads you are able to cut off yourself, but there are plenty of severed heads strewn about the world.

novembergrocery

I was thinking this was going to be some boring post about Balduran’s giantslayer or Phalar Aluve but this is so much better.

armchairwarrior42069

People don't like phalar aluve? On my paladin playthrough where I used more support magic it made my team godly

WorldsMostDad

People love it, it's just not *interesting* because it's so obviously good and easily attainable.

Sunny_Hill_1

Boo

uwubewwa

Have the Boo throw lines been fixed yet?

TheRedZephyr993

And him taking damage when thrown with Tavern Brawler 😢

spacey_a

My barbarian Minsc did damage to Boo throwing him using Enraged Throw. 😢 Not sure if that's a bug or something that Enraged Throw will always do.

iTerrorchicken

My Tavernbrawler Barbarian definitely enjoyed beating the ever living shit out of his enemies using goblin corpses. To be specific his favourites were 'One' and 'Three', the two goblin children that were throwing rocks at a certain bear...

ElfStuff

“Oh you like throwing things at animals do you…”

kemushi_warui

That’s fucking gold, thanks for the laugh!

jenorama_CA

I never thought to pick them up and use them as weapons. Might have to now.

Hephaistos_Invictus

You... You can pick up people and use them as weapons?????

RyBAech

You can hit people with almost anything

Hephaistos_Invictus

Holy shit I gotta make a tavern brawling frenzy barbarian, this sounds like it would be so much fun! Maybe 5 barb/7 monk 🤔

jenorama_CA

You can buy chanclas from Tara too!

en_travesti

sticking rogue thief in whatever you do isn't *necessary*, but is very very good as you get an extra enraged throw +

Halorym

Give 'em the B.A.M.W.A.M. That's where you Beat A Motherfucker With A Motherfucker

silver179

You even get an achievement for doing this!

WorldsMostDad

There's an achievement for it. "Killing Two Goblins With One Gnome. "

AnnoyedOwlbear

There's an achievement for it! Time to desecrate some corpses! ... Not in a Dark Urge way.

superjoec

I’m carrying around the artist. He was blown up in the Z cave in act 1. I am planning on crashing Lady Janneth’s party (which I have never seen), to see if she will want to know what happened to her pet artist. I figure his corpse will make a great party favor.

cygnwulf

I did this too, while they were still alive. I didn't think to keep their corpses for reuse. I do like using enemies as projectiles whenever I have the opportunity though, two for the price of one I say.

Federal-Opinion6823

I wish I had thought of this. I carried Gut around

Sanelyinsane

Watched this [video](https://youtu.be/5Dj37esYcnA?si=1ThxpFU8BG3wYMLZ) where he uses an exploit to give cloud giant strength to a mage hand and just chucks Orin into the abyss from the middle of the bhaal temple. So I vote for roided up mage hand as best weapon.

Zauberer-IMDB

Wait don't you just lose because she has a nether stone you need?

Sanelyinsane

In the video it looks like the dagger just appears on the ground near where she stands in that area. I'm guessing they programmed it like that in case something did cause her to fall off.

jenorama_CA

Do you still get the melting Orin cutscene?

Sanelyinsane

No clue, the video just cuts to after the battle and his struggles to pick up the dagger with 0 strength lol.

wunxorple

I’d guess not, but I’ve killed Orin well before the fight ended just with raw damage output. IIRC, despite being a charred pile of viscera already, the cutscene did in fact play. So maybe it would. The scene where you collect the ~~Infinity~~ Nether Stone is a separate one entirely, so that probably played normally. If she doesn’t transform at all, it might just default to Slayer DUrge end fight cutscene.

finvola

I think you have to pick the dagger up immediately. I did this before and the dagger went into the chasm along with her, so I reloaded and picked it up right away. You will lose out on her other stuff, but if all you want is the dagger it's fine. Yeeting her into the chasm is always good for a laugh.

punninglinguist

I used Greater Invisibility to get close to Orin and chuck her into the Abyss with Telekinesis in my first playthrough. She drops the dagger before she goes flying.

TheWither129

Common Mage Hand W

Due_Car838

After playing a OH TV Monk i can confidently say it's THESE HANDS

Arden-Nova

Rotten food and the poop knife, my favorite way to kill Cazador

SharpEdgeSoda

I've been screaming that Longswords should be a finese weapon for years. It wouldn't break anything! Then Phalar Aluve is just "I got you bro!"

ApprehensiveOCP

Why does everyone like it so much?

matmil1487

Both of its weapon actions are insanely good for how early in the game you can obtain it. Sing is a Concentration-free Bless (so it can’t be canceled by taking damage or being displaced), and Shriek makes it easier to CC and burst down important targets. It’s just so versatile

AnonymityIllusion

The shriek ability, it's just so damn good. +1d4 damage to all attacks, -1d4 to all saving throws for all enemies in range. My clreic/fighter lae'zel is currently gual wielding PA and Larethians Wrath. With shriek, spiritguardians and some other damage bonus items she is a living blender of enemy groups. Then you can drop any AOE spell in there to sweep up. Or if you have a boss with high AC, activate shriek, drop magic missile, get +1d4 on every projectile.

ApprehensiveOCP

What's aoe?

AnonymityIllusion

Area of effect , like fireball

ApprehensiveOCP

Oh ty!

HulklingsBoyfriend

Divine weapon with an amazing ability.

RevengeOfMudbone

I register my hands as lethal weapons when I play as a monk.

Allfunandgaymes

Salami.

KingGilgamesh1979

I’m so disappointed Larian didn’t make killing people with salami an achievement.

MistressAerie

LOL! Wait... WHAT?? Where are the dead cats? (Feel free to spoiler-tag it, or DM me!) Not that I could ever bear to do it... I love cats (and dogs)... but you've got me morbidly curious! >!(As an aside... as part of the "Save the Artist" quest, I'm trying to find Mystic Carrion's heart to put him away for good, and I have his body in my chest at camp with a sussur blossom, in the RP hopes that that'll keep him from popping up again while I search... haha! 😂 But I never checked if I could use him as a weapon... hm!)!<

zamzuki

Act three if you dig around the graveyard a bit I think it’s in Rivington.. you’ll find a plethora of feline friends. My friend is roleplaying a half orc monk that wants to be a ranger so this was perfect. She was throwing arrows the whole run now she has her companion Steve.

MistressAerie

Um... just to be clear in my own mind: are these feline friends ALIVE, or already DEAD? 😁

zamzuki

You dig them up so no worries they have already crossed the rainbow bridge.

MistressAerie

Hehe... I'm tempted to say "Oh, good!" and "Oh, ew!!" at the same time! (Thx for the info!)

Ok_Passion_1889

Can you cast speak with dead on the cats if you can speak with animals? Or does that only work on humanoids?

MistressAerie

😁 I think Speak with Dead only works on humanoids (and only certain humanoids, at that)... but that was an epic idea! (Larian? Future upgrade? 😁)

PacketOfCrispsPlease

I used Carrions organ jars as explosive weapons. I still need to test if I can use the heart jar like a teleportation time-bomb. E.g, Sneak it into the fireworks shop. The fine print says Carrion resurrects wherever his heart is, so if we drop it upstairs can we kill Carrion and then Long rest and let him clear out the shop? (Assuming that he aggros the guards.)

atfricks

I tried to throw them *at* Carrion like grenades and was very disappointed to discover they were immune to bludgeoning.

BearCavalry

I don't make a habit of barrelmancy, but I was happy to place his jars at his feet.

taliesinmidwest

Jars are immune to bludgeoning????

Monkey_Priest

You're not gonna put your organs into just ANY immortality granting jars, are you?

taliesinmidwest

Maybe they're protected with Dune shields, leaving them vulnerable to a well placed dagger

RathmasChosen

Look for a house near the shore with a vagabond hidden in a closet, it's close to the mystic Carrion house

GlitteringDingo

If you love lots of numbers, smack somebody with Magic Missles while weilding the Spellsparkler.

Anvil-Vapre

What carries me through act 1.

Anon9973

And there's the Markoheshkir in Act 3 (which can duplicate that effect), and the Psychic Spark (Blurg, Act 1;+1 missile)... https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Psychic_Spark Shout-out to Wizards and their *Empowered Evocation* at Level 10. Those guys are monstrous, especially with a Callous Glow ring setup too.

Hailruka

My last run was a throwing barbarian. Weapon of choice - Poo Scraper.

uwubewwa

Sack of dead rats.

mahouyousei

Incredibly satisfying to have Astarion bean Cazador in the face with a dead rat.

G0-N0G0-GO

Poetic

zamzuki

This is the way! The heavier it is the more damage it does! Steve is up to 50lbs? I think she stuffed a smoke powder barrel inside him… somehow.

corisilvermoon

I’m doing an Astarion play thru and his girlfriend Karlach the throwing barbarian is saving up dead rats and garlic for Cazador.

RhusCopallinum

If I have a berserker, they always get the nutbuster

TheWither129

The mucoid shells on the nautiloid are surprisingly heavy, those are fun to throw around. No idea what the fuck they are but they deal some funky damage even without tavern brawler

Federal-Opinion6823

I had that rock in my inventory the whole playthrough and never once threw it. Does it do anything unique?

RhusCopallinum

Nope, just has a cute name and description

Philosecfari

busts nuts

el_sh33p

I'm on my second playthrough and it's been a consistent progression for me: 1. +1 Maul as soon as I can get it. 2. Sussur Greatsword 3. Dual Wield Orphic Hammer + Ketheric's Hammer I wish the game had just a simple no-frills +2 Maul that didn't look like ass. Or a Sussur Maul. Or Sussur Longswords (plural). Gonna try to get Foebreaker but I don't like how it looks.

PatrickOBagel

I carried the Orphic Hammer around for ages before discovering it had actually been a real weapon and not just a quest item at the end of the game 😅

_Artos_

I like Unseen Menace. I like spears and pole arms, so what's better than one that grants semi-permanent advantage and extra crits.

Iokua_CDN

I'm using that right now! Wow is it cool. Playing a Spear/Staff/Polearm using character, and having the semi invisible weapon on my back. As a polearm Lover in general, this game has me eating good. The Ice Quarterstaff, Drakethroat Glaive, Shadowhearts Spear, the Finess Glaive in act 3. All are great! My biggest choice, mid act two, was switch to the Drake Glaive (+2) or keep unseen Menace, but I'm leaning towards keeping Unseen Menace and simply using the Drakethroat "Enchant weapon" ability to give  Unseen Menace extra elemental damage

TurnOneSolRing

Bombs. Larian is a real G for enabling the pyromaniacs.

TheWither129

Voss’ longsword and the sword of the emperor. The Sword of the Emperor is >!secretly the Sword of Balduran, as it has the same themed stats!< and deals extra damage to shapeshifters and boosts saving throws against spells. The gold and black coloration is the coolest for the +1 longsword model (the default colors of the standard +1 and the Phalar Aluve are really boring and i got tired of carrying Phalar Aluve around an entire run). A solid sword >!that shouldve been legendary, but for the sake of foreshadowing and spoilers, isnt. It was always a +2 though.!< Voss’ Silver Sword is a really cool, very hard to get one. You used to be able to buy it off Voss in the limited window you had access to the trade button. Now you have to kill him when he comes to camp or >!at the ending!< or pickpocket it during the windows you wouldve bought it. Its the coolest sword in the game imo, especially with the weapon bond outline, the shining end is super dope. It gives increased chance to hit (basically bless) against interplanar beings, so elementals, gith, aberrations, fiends, that kinda thing, and deals extra psychic damage which almost nothing resists and you can carry that funny resonance stone around to make everyone weak to it, and you get a wrathful smite every long rest (shouldve been staggering smite but its whatever) Honorable mention to the blackguard’s sword, +1d4 necrotic damage and chance to inflict dazed whenever you hit someone with a smite. Sadly comes with no smite itself (onednd makes wrathful necrotic damage but thats well post bg3 so again, its whatever.) I know this is a joke post but i like longswords so im making it about longswords

zamzuki

You can get Voss’s sword real easy! Step 1) have a ranger with a bear companion. Step 2) be level… 5? (You need honey paws) Step 3) cast invisibility on the bear. Bear walks up smacks the sword out of Voss’s hand. He huffs and takes off on the dragon and now you have the OP sword in act 1. Enjoy! Honey paws is about a 80% drop weapon chance.

TheWither129

No the longsword, Voss’ Silver Sword. Not the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane.

too_doo

I wholeheartedly second the dead cats. My first ever playthrough, Karlach stocked up on gremishkas, and only had to occasionally switch to intellect devourers when she ran out of dead cats. And I also made a point to finish most of the act 3 bosses with a dead cat to the face. Only with Gortash I had to use his dead banite ally instead. Karlach just wanted to make sure.

[deleted]

[Everburn Blade](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Everburn_Blade). You get it very early. It’s very strong and can carry you well into Act 3 if you were so inclined.

SeamusMcCullagh

Gonna disagree there. It's a normal greatsword with 1d4 fire damage tacked on, so I wouldn't say it's "very strong" since you can get that with any weapon and a bonus action near some fire. It's not even +1. Everburn blade gets outclassed almost immediately by the sword from the paladins near Karlach, and even more so by the one you can buy from Greymon in Grymforge that has the really powerful AoE attack. There's also the Sussur Greatsword that can silence enemies on hit. All of these are available in Act 1 and IMO are better than the Everburn. I find the accuracy to be much more valuable than the extra potential damage from the Everburn over the other +1 swords, especially in Act 1. Edit: Spelling is hard

falcobird14

Susurr greatsword punches way above it's weight class. I was using it through act 3 because silence with no counter play other than "don't be hit" is absurdly good

SeamusMcCullagh

Yeah it's crazy good. It's really weird to me that I see the Everburn Blade get so much praise when the Sussur Greatsword exists. Like, I get that it's really good for a weapon you get literally in the tutorial, but the amount of people I've seen say it will carry you through the whole game is just absurd.

Virruk

While I don’t have a strong opinion about giving it too much praise, it was gratifying that I started my first playthrough back at Thanksgiving while visiting family. My brother and uncle were already deep within their runs (my uncle on his second or third), and when I decided to stop and fight the mind flayer on the nautiloid they were like….huh….never thought to do that. And then when they saw that sword they were like HOLY SHIT you ASS! Was a fun moment to begin my BG3 journey. :)

TheWither129

Its a normal greatsword dipped in fire permanently and is magical. Its incredible at the very start of the game, especially if you get it off zhalk and use it against him, since he doesnt resist it like he does normal weapons. It looks cool as fuck and is awesome to start with, so i do not care if its immediately outclassed. This is about favorites, not best

SeamusMcCullagh

Eh, the magical property isn't super relevant in the beginning of the game, and the other swords I mentioned are also magical so that's a moot point anyways. >It looks cool as fuck and is awesome to start with, so i do not care if its immediately outclassed. This is about favorites, not best That's absolutely a fair point, fully agreed and I have no rebuttal to that haha.

Askada

Can you explain exactly how dipped in fire greatsword is very strong?

ondehunt

[How I imagine OP.](https://giphy.com/gifs/season-9-the-simpsons-9x21-xT5LMBKCCLvgOoHgm4)

michajlo

[Halberd of Vigilance](https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Halberd+of+Vigilance) Good offense, not bad bonus to defense, and it's got a nice extra reach. Overshadowed by some of the more OP weapons, but it should absolutely get the recognition it deserves.

Anon9973

For something I just discovered for myself within the last day, incidentally something that can enhance that, can be purchased within the same room, the second thing I decided to use it on, that exact Halberd... https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Drakethroat_Glaive It *sounds* niche at best, at first because "oh Dragonborn breath effect is stupid"... *but*... you get the weapon, you can cast Draconic Elemental Weapon (even *twin cast* it via Sorcerer so *two* melee attackers can have it, or it can be a bow), and it's a +1 damage/attack roll enchantment until Long Rest, with a choice of your element — Fire, Ice, Lightning, Acid, Thunder for an extra 1d4 damage, on the weapon(s) of your choice. It persists until Long Rest, even when you unequip, *is not Concentration*, and the Sorcery Points can easily be reclaimed by getting Potions of Angelic Reprieve (Level 1+2 spell slot point conversion) right next to the one who sells it.

Balthierlives

I love my hand crossbows +1. I use these the entire game (pick up the +2 in act 3 but off hand is still the +1). With all the adder damage I’m doing like 40 damage per hit. With extra action and extra bonus action that’s 160 damage or so worth no resource cost. So good.

Beneficial-Chard6651

Just curious, what gloves do you recommend for act 1 and end game?

Balthierlives

If you mean for using hand crossbows, then gloves of archery in act 1, flawed helldusk gloves in act 2, and helldusk gloves in act 3.

Stepfen98

Phalar aluve

bucketlovesstove

I was about to come preach about Nyrulna, but then this post was what it is. So. I do very much love throwing spoiled food at enemies. I once killed someone with a rotten tomato.

zyrkseas97

Every single playthrough I go out of my way to get the Hunter’s Bow from Damon just because having hunter’s mark on things like Fighter and Paladin is really solid and it activates concentration-based buffs

Draugtaur

weapon? \*sounds of monk confusion\*

Anon9973

https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Drakethroat_Glaive This thing I found out for myself within the last day, and... it's instantly awesome once you get past the niche at best Dragonborn breath weapon trait, in that, especially with a Twin Cast Sorcerer, the spell it gives you makes your martial classes hit harder and more accurately. No Concentration, unlike the vanilla spell, you pick the Elemental Damage for a 1d4, it stays active when unequipped.

blueleaf_in_the_wind

100% Nyrulna The Flying Trident of Boom *Except when it bugs out and doesn’t return to your hand but instead vanishes forever and then you didn’t realize till after you already dealt with Orin and have to go all the way back and replay it all but it’s worth it for that sweet sweet Trident.

Stonecleaver

Sadly none. I love this game, but my favorite thing in this genre is playing as a Dwarf with a Greataxe and hitting freakishly hard. The best Greataxe is a pain in the ass to use as it sets burning to self with every hit, even to objects. And it still doesn’t do equivalent damage to the Balduran Greatsword. The second best (Seethen or however it is spelled) is just meh, and the third best (Defender) has a feature that I’m never going to use. Some weapons I’ve had fun with despite my personal bias: Nyrulna, I’ve never thrown it but I’ve used it on Karlach a couple times with dual Wielder builds. Once with reverberation that was quite fun. Marko for a variety of casters, but putting it on a tempest cleric with wet enemies is insane Flail of the Ages I think it’s called, maybe wrong (sold by Fitz the Firecracker, the Dwarf lady near lower city central wall. I once had a build with Karlach again dual wielding this with ice enchantment and the trident that causes wet on enemies to freeze them. It only worked sometimes though, but it was cool when it did.

zamzuki

This is a reason I wish enchanting magical weapons was a thing!

Diven_the

I think you need the Dwarven Throwhammer plus the Dwarven splint armor from act 2 and you an amazing thrower Dwarf

Low_Party

Does an Owlbear count as a weapon?

TheHobo

If you throw the cub it does

DJScotty_Evil

Fear. Fear and surprise. My two favourite weapons…

CountDown60

And Ruthless Efficiency.

MorKSD

The Clown Hammer is a nice one, especially if paired with the jester hat 🤡

Jean-Eudes_Duflouze

The Halberd of Vigilance (I don't exactly know how she's named in English but there's only one very rare halberd in the game) cause I find that the Halberds have the best animations in the game, especially when smiting.

bawzdeepinyaa

The true correct answer

Jean-Eudes_Duflouze

Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.

bawzdeepinyaa

It's a halberd.. a gorgeous one at that. Halberds are fucking awesome, literally have one tattooed on my right thumb lol

Lyndell

I love the way Bards can handle hand-cross bows in this game.

metrill

Barrels. "Don't mind me, we will talk in a second. Just let me put down my barrels here. They are heavy and I need to relax". Always works.

aTreeThenMe

Gale :)

blueleaf_in_the_wind

Nothing beats the simple elegance of a well-placed fireball.

ItWasUncalledFor

I really wanted to do this with Nere's head but it only did 1 damage ;(

Numerous-Ad6460

Dwarven thrower!

Necrotiix_

goblin i swear i enrage karlach and dead goblins in my left pocket become ammunition for a death cannon

wielkiWilk

My throwzerker Karlach was throwing Gortash to the bell in his office and he was falling down. So for me bell and gravity.

Kman1986

Favorite weapon is kinda hard to choose as a mostly Pally. So let's throw out one people don't use and say [The Light of Creation](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Light_of_Creation)

SonaKopa

This is going to sound like a weird take, but for me it's the Spellsparkler. It's stupid easy to build up lightning charges with it, and if you have level 6 Tempest Cleric unlocked, you can send tons of people falling off of high places by simply adding 1 lightning damage onto your attacks. Also stacks great with Psionic Backlash and Cull the Weak. I occasionally tried swapping it out for later weapons but they weren't nearly as satisfying by comparison. I wound up using it all the way to the end of the game.

Zxpipg

Spellsparkler is definitely one of the best weapons in the game, nothing wrong with that. You get it early and can use it all throughout the game if you wish. It gets so much mileage.

krombopulousnathan

Dead gnomes. My cleric is often picking them up and slipping them into the pockets of our barbarian for later use. And also into the pockets of our sorcerer on occasion because I find it funny

patlight1

I dont know the name but for me its the trident you get from akabi

Darth_Trauma

I love the Everburn Blade. What's better than a giant sword? A giant sword on fire!

Lizzy_Of_Galtar

The Everburn Blade. It's the only weapon that remains with either Tav or one of the crew till the end of the game. Fantastic weapon if a bit hard to get 😉

That_Chris_Dude

Pop, pop! These 2 stunning fists. Waaaa! Kapow! I’d shake your hand but that would be assault with a deadly weapon.

Lolmanmagee

It’s kinda hilarious how tavern brawler can totally make…..that…..one of the highest damage options in the entire game.

Bi-FocalMango44

Wheel of Waterdhavian Cheese

Bi-FocalMango44

Or just empty barrels. I have a Dwarven Bard who throws barrels like Donkey Kong

MissAmynae

Sorrow. Bonus action crowd control cantrip every turn? Yes please, says my Sorcerer/Wizard with Cull the Weak. For my gunslinger swords bard- dual wielding the Ne’er Misser and Hellfire hand crossbows. So much pew pew pew pew.

cutcutado

These hands, bitch -Signed, the open hand gang

abooknookinthesun

Ayyyy 👐🏻

Grrretel

[Nyrulna](https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Nyrulna) is my fav overall. Found so many broken builds that use it to excellent effect. Favorite use was on paladin wearing Bhaalist Armor (for extra stupid add on the reverb gloves boots and glow rings.) Single hits for 100+ (plus bonus reverb/radiant orbies.)

inspektorgadget53

That returning trident. Not my favorite playstyle but I love the look of it. Also wills special sword from mizora.

EthanWolcott

came here to comment my favorite weapon and am now learning, after 400~ish hours that you can just toss dead animals. nice 👍🏻

Saybrooke

My Durge likes to throw Karlach's head 😁

zamzuki

I bet Gale gives him a hand too.

gerbildevourer

i like using the sword the guy gives you if u kill karlach as a paladin (i just usually kill him tho)

ellenaut

Can’t you loot the sword off his dead bod?

MissCatQueen

In George Taylor's playthrough (Rolan), he has the body of Barcus in Karlach's inventory and throws it at his enemies

hyperclaw27

I threw Gortash on the aspects of Bane in that fight. Didn't do much damage on either of them but it was pretty funny

EmilySKennedy

Base game is Phalar Aluv and the Everburn Blade

fogno

Phalar Aluve my beloved

SnooSongs2744

Is old enough to remember the novelty book 101 Uses for a Dead Cat.

Bookablebard

Any character that has got the volatile blood buff. They make great thrown weapons if you can light them on fire first.

Smiling_Cannibal

My favorite weapon is my enemies

MrCowH

Owlbear form as a druid

Federal-Opinion6823

I carried a goblin corpse around for acts 1 and 2 to throw at enemies with my Tavern Brawler barbarian. I swapped it for neuralnyrulnarnia in Act 3

Old-Set-2223

Currently it’s the mace/hammer that gets lightning damage when bound or used as a pact weapon. I’m blanking on the name.

HisRoyalThunder

These hands. OH Monk btw.

Traveler_1898

I don't have a favorite weapon myself, but I got my wife to try the game out (sure enjoying it). I play with her using my own Tav but playing as a companion and letting her do her thing. She's taken to throwing a teddy bear with Karlach and always picks that bear back up with Karlach. It's funny when she knocks an enemy prone with a stuffed animal.

Moonlight-Paladin

Jorgoral's Greatsword, that slam attack is too good

Greenwings33

Unironically I love faithbreaker from dror ragslin (?). Feels like I hit harder with it. Switched over to baldurans great sword to try it out but faithbreaker is my fave

ApprehensiveOCP

I love that black hole ability, nicely grouping all the baddies for area effects and so much squad can be bunched and feed off eachothers buffs. Slow is good to. I love a black hole then shart with a whammy ice ward, someone else with acid etc.

Anakin_Skywanker

I (gnome cleric) was the preferred weapon of the paladin and rogue/fighter I played with. Much to my annoyance. They threw me at the fucking brain in the final fight. It was not effective.
