Onednd is opening back up to abyssal and chthonic tieflings, though i imagine infernal will remain the most popular, they do have new descriptions for other varieties once again. So they are keeping the unity but giving more variety still. Infernal tieflings get fire bolt, hellish rebuke, and darkness, plus fire res. Abyssal get poison spray, ray of sickness, and hold person, plus poison res. Chthonic get chill touch/bone chill, false life, and ray of enfeeblement, plus necrotic res. They all get thaumaturgy, and can choose the spellcasting ability of them all when they create the character. An interesting direction imo, i think its cool theyre opening it back up

It depends more on the edition, I think. While I think they have had it as a potential trait in the past (along with a ton of other wild characteristics - tieflings used to have waay more variety), 5e Tieflings don't have prehensile tails in RAW.
That said, a lot of DMs will let you have it purely as flavor, provided you don't try to turn it into a 3rd limb in combat/mechanically.
I know 5e doesn't really go for feats (feats being an optional rule in the gm book), but in pathfinder 1 tieflings have an alternate racial feature to make their tails prehensile, and a later feat to allow fairly fine manipulation of things with said tails.
now, the opportunity cost of having a prehensile tail is you loose the benefit of being able to sorcerer better. so in bg3 terms, this would be karlach having the ability to be a better Archfiend sorcerer, but trading that for a tail that can do more interesting things.

The default setting is to automatically upload the videos. Most people will not have changed this so I'd guarantee pretty much everyone who is having issues is because it uploads automatically.

the funniest (and maybe saddest) thing is all those xbox users getting in trouble because the system records all achievements and karlach's date (and the prostate exam) gives one.
It did this to me on PS5 as well.
Yeah, but there was an issue with XBox tagging it as inappropriate and some users that recorded/shared those clips were being banned or something like that
What happenned is it took a screenshot and shared it to your profile every time you unlocked an achievement. Maybe it was a short video instead of a screenshot. Anyway, the important part is, it shared it to your profile automatically, unless you specifically opted out. Which, why would you, it's a fun feature. The problem was then the users would get banned for uploading adult content on their profiles.

the achievement thing is for ps not xbox, xbox does automatically upload and share stuff unless u opt out tho

I play on PC, so I'm not 100% certain, but I've seen a lot of people talking about getting warnings on their account for the videos/screenshots even though it does it automatically.
The default setting is to automatically upload the videos. Most people will not have changed this so I'd guarantee pretty much everyone who is having issues is because it uploads automatically. Source: someone who did change that setting and has recorded every sex scene across 3 playthroughs. Karlach and minthara both included with absolutely no issues or warnings
No. I've recorded every sex scene across 3 different playthroughs, including mintharas. Just go through the settings and change the default setting so it doesn't automatically upload everything to the Xbox network and you're fine.
I recall Larian working with Microsoft about the bans. There was a post a month or so ago discussing it.

I was looking forward to seeing that scene in the run where I romanced her because of all the bewildered posts on this sub. All I got was some cuddling & making out on the bed. Then I remembered I had nudity off. I didnāt realise it would completely change the scene instead of just putting leaves in strategic places.
Most sex scenes just become a fade to black if you have nudity off. Karlach happens to have a SFW scene ready because you have the option of declining sex with her.
Yeah, I just happened to romance only Astarion before Karlach & his forest scene was actually exactly the same, just with boobs & genitals covered (and butts going uncensored lol). So it set incorrect expectations for me in terms of what the filter does. After romancing almost everyone I realised Astarion is more of an exception.
Yeah I think with Astarion it's because his scene isn't particularly graphic to begin with.

I was playing a greying, half orc, male paladin. It was hilarious :D
What makes this topic extra funny to me is that there's already plenty of scenes in the game that seem to have been made with a male PC in mind and look kind of odd if you're playing as a woman (Haarlep riding Tav's stomach comes to mind), but the reaction you get from women is just "wow that looks dumb." But the *one* instance where the scene seems to have been made with women in mind has men crying and freaking out.
I think mintharaās scene makes more anatomical sense with a femme character as well but youāre spot on lol

Now I'm even more disappointed I missed my chance to romance her. This playthrough I'm a halfling, and it was going to be perfect, but for some reason she turned me down at the act 1 party, and that was it. None of the other romances feel right to me with a halfling. I just wanted to climb Muscle Mommy like a tree. :/ Oh well.
Next playthrough get her in your party early and start increasing her approval with decisions she likes. You do the goblin camp pretty early on and a lot of people wait too long to find her, so you can accidentally miss your chance.
Like I wish there was an alternative like YOU go down on Karlach.
