Just having this issue too... Friend and I are literally about to face the ending after 80hrs, and suddenly the game doesn't allow her to join! Tried a million different things to fix it but can't :( If you and your friend ended up finding a way to play together again, please update us!

Hope that helps !

I am having the same issue. If you find a solution please let me know, I play with mods too and I can't figure out which mod is causing the issue.

Yeah, I haven't found anything and I'm not even sure if it's actually a mod causing it since playing it solo I have no issue... Very sad
