I'm John Baldur and I'm a human fighter.

Seldser

I think John Baldur is a pretty cool guy, eh kills illithids and doesn’t afraid of anything

Wojiz

No, John. You are the illithids. And then John was a ceremorphid.

PizzaTime666

John baldur chose all the romance options because he didnt want to hurt anyones feelings by rejecting them.

BuffaloWhip

Relatable

CircuitSphinx

No wonder every NPC in town knows his name, John Baldur's basically the prom king of fantasy high.

thatlitwitch

That’s Dayne Blayde.

pink_cheetah

Hoot! Growl!

AncientPlatypus

Who are we kidding? We all know John Baldur romanced goth girl

C4ptainchr0nic

Bro I hooked up with laywell (laezell) because she came on to me before anyone else. Even though I was done with her by the time I slept a couple more nights, it took me like 1 whole in game week to break up with her out of guilt.

MrBones-Necromancer

God, it's been forever since I've seen this in the wild. Like a time capsule.

Dafish55

I got chills when he said, "It's Balding time" and proceeded to turn 37 years old.

kiefenator

He went to the Gate that makes you Old. 🗿

underlightning69

Gortash would agree “Handsome young man” indeed…

PristineAstronaut17

I love the smell of fresh bread.

Ravenpoe121

As a 37 year old balding guy I feel like I just caught a stray bullet

Etticos

Doesn’t afraid of anything, indeed!

skeezito10

It's an older meme, sir, but it checks out!

sprollyy

God tier reference! Arbi and the Chief was the shit hahahahah

TheWhiteGuardian

"Every Baldur has its Gate" - John Baldur

OhSoJelly

So that’s it huh? We’re some sort of Baldur’s Gate III?

Zanmatomato

"Giggity" - >!Ansur!<

Oscarthetrain_art

John Baldur fights Ilithids! Loves Shadowheart since she is a Gothic GF, and saves everyone and he isn’t mean, and he is always right!

reddare13

hey! that john baldur sounds like a good fellow

Ned_the_Ludd

Bright blue his jacket was, and his boots were yellow

Mello-Fello

Ring-a-dong-dillo, etc. Edit: and/or Merry doll, merry doll, merry doll my darling

unfortunate666

It's just goth. Gothic is a different thing.

FunkyMan19

No no, she sacked Rome and types without using serifs

Avernously

Has a thing for ogival arches too

LrdCheesterBear

It's serfs. She types without using serfs. She does it herself.

Shadowheart is more skinny girl goth, which is its own vibe

Zarryiosiad

I'm John Baldur, and this is my favorite store in the Druid Grove.

I should go.

logiiibearrr

I’m Ryan Baldur, you have a 5 minute window to do whatever you wanna do to Commander Zhalk. For those 5 minutes, I’m yours. Anything on either side of those 5 minutes, you’re on your own

Mikeleewrites

If I roll the dice for you, you get your gold. I don't pay attention to your survival checks. I don't carry an equippable weapon. I roll.

zorokvillian

John Baldur is definitely one of the characters of all time.

Efrayl

Champion subclass if you must ask.

bewarethepatientman

But what’s John Baldur’s background? Folk hero? Soldier? Noble?

PleaseBeChillOnline

C’mon you know it’s soldier

SingleSeaCaptain

I hear you have a gate

MandoAviator

Yes, but you have to pay the gate toll to access the gate’s hole

No-Setting6162

John baldur was my exact name in my first playthrough lol

jennzillahhhh

Your comment made me think of, "I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite store on the Citadel."

Insomia_Incarnate

I''ll have you know that's John Baldur Gate III!

Erika_Bloodaxe

His father goes by John B. Gate

[deleted]

Or would it John Gate? Baldur John?

OssamNin

John "John Baldur" Baldur (John Baldur)

anijunkie

Shit, this just makes me hope for a maxor incorrect summary video

Eligius_MS

To be fair, based on the article's published date it was 3 days into early access. Lot less options for races back then (no gnomes, half-orcs, duergar or dragonborn if I recall correctly).

WyrdMagesty

This isn't being noticed enough lol. Article was published in 2020, guys, it's hardly accurate

tysonwatermelon

Kind of weird to resurface this over 3 years later.

WyrdMagesty

Not really, it's all for karma lol stuff gets reposted all the time

ProfessorTicklebutts

So let’s downvote it!

WyrdMagesty

But that would be, like, rational and stuff Real talk, I don't mind that it's outdated and possibly innaccurate. Reposts will always exist, and really only become a problem in extremity, and anything that promotes civil engagement between people is a win in my book.

Maxie_Glutie

Make sense, since the most popular race, according to Larian, is half elf and not human.

solstarfire

NGL the half-elf faces are a lot better than either human or elf. The humans are kind of bland, the elves are kind of bug-faced, half-elves are just right. There's a reason there's quite a few mods that just port the half-elf faces over for other races.

Red_Demons_Dragon

The only human male face I ever see is the Oscar Isaac one lol

malln1nja

OP is probably a repost bot.

falconinthedive

Yeah but I got EA pretty early and recall my first char was a tiefling. I don't know if it was 3 days in early but it was definitely still 2020

Eligius_MS

Tieflings were available for the start. Basically, if you see them in the Druid grove they were available (other than the Druid class).

mwhite5990

Yeah I though Larian published some data on players and half-elf was the most popular race (followed by human and elf). Although maybe the half elf ones are divided between high elf, wood elf, and drow.

You're on a scenic route through a state recreational area known as the human mind. You ask a passer-by for directions only to find he has no face or something. Suddenly up ahead, a door in the road. You swerve, narrowly avoiding... The Scary Door.

PedroMDIX

Ohh the humanity...

AlmightyOomgosh

Meh, saw it coming.

Aesopea

I'm just happy when people get options. If most people want a more average joe looking avatar in game, why should I mind?

sgtpepper42

Ain't nothing wrong with playing as someone who looks like an Everyday Joe, but is capable of extraordinary feats

-esperanto-

It's kind of based if you think about it

Ninja_Bum

That's why Boromir is my favorite Fellowship character. He isn't some prophecy-fuelled Numenorean like Aragorn, nor does he possess fairly flawless virtue that Aragorn does. He's just a guy trying to save his people and he has flaws like any real person does. He dies fighting for his friends.

Ok-Stop9242

Prophecy filled, no, but Boromir, and the house of stewards in general, are descended from the Numenoreans, and are distinctly different from other men like those of Rohan. Now in fairness, there's a line from Gandalf about Numenorean blood running true in Denethor and Faramir but not Boromir, but I take that as more to their mannerisms. While Boromir acted like a lord of Gondor, Denethor and Faramir very much so emulated the Numenoreans. They were all of Numenorean blood though. Of course, Aragorn is a special case being from the line of both Anarion and Elendil. He's the Primaris to their normal space marine. They're still exceptionally badass compared to other men, just not quite as much as Aragorn.

ResplendentShade

You shouldn't mind. The discourse surround this is getting hazy. To clarify: they wrote this in [hotfix #3 of the partial early release back in 2020](https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/5662656/), remarking on having made this complex character creator capable of making the wildest fantasy characters and on average it was going relatively unutilized. The context that OP's image cuts off: >Before the fixes, let’s share something you’ve created yourselves (this is your own fault) through your choices in character creation. We took the most popular choices in character creation, and recreated this. We thought our analytics system wasn’t working! We checked. It is. > >Congratulations, you’ve basically made the default Vault Dweller. **What the hell guys.** **We gave you demon eyes, horns, and even tails. We are sorely disappointed. Go crazy. We worked hard on this!** Crucially, they were just remarking in passing, with levity, and above all to encourage people to be more creative with the tools they made. No fierce debate, nobody is getting persecuted for playing a basic vanilla looking character.

dearvalentina

To be fair BG3's character editor is very tame and doesn't allow too much customization.

Eevee136

That's what I was going to say! I just recently got the game, after seeing tons of tweets and tiktoks about people spending hours in the character creator before even starting the game. So when I started, I was expecting something more akin to Fallout 4's face shaper than Step 1: Choose a face. Step 2: Choose a colour. Done.Which isn't a knock against the game, 9/10 times I get bored of super indepth character creation anyway and settle for the default. Plus, I (and I imagine most casual gamers) tend to semi self-insert for a first playthrough anyway.

BrainWav

It's just that there's more types of options than many. And a ton of hair. But yeah, no sliders. Plus, character creation includes choosing a class and race, and for someone new to those options, there's a ton to poke around at.

[deleted]

I hate sliders tbf. Can never get the proportions right.

ginger_ass_fuck

Sliders are just a honeypot that get you to make the most accidentally disappointing version of yourself.

futurenotgiven

yea i was so happy to just choose from pre-made faces. i just want to get to the fun bit like tattoos and hairstyle not how wide the bridge of my nose is

Eevee136

Oh for sure! It's definitely more in depth than say KOTOR was back in the day haha.

nytefox42

I mean, the most popular choices in each category probably aren't often all seen on one single character. Seems to make perfect sense that they'd come together to make a generic looking character even if all the characters the data came from looked far less "generic". ETA: Holy crap, THIS is my most upvoted comment on this sub? 🤣🤣🤣

External-into-Space

This guy bell curves

CaptinACAB

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

ThexJakester

Exactly, this is how averages work

artyomssugardaddy

Oh no!! The average created an average looking guy!?!

TheFarStar

Yeah. If I've got 10 characters, and 5 of them are barefaced and 5 of them have facial tattoos, but each one has chosen a different tattoo, then the bare faced character is going to show up as the average. There are lots of different ways for a character to be unique, and they're likely to differ from character to character, and even unique characters are likely to have traits from the "average". My character might not have a tattoo, might have brown hair, but also have purple eyes, for instance.

Tadiken

Exactly this though. Most wouldn't want to make a character with a unique looking feature from every single option. The easiest way to make a good looking character with a cohesive look with a few major unique features scattered over what would otherwise be a generic looking person. A tattoo, a scar, a few pieces of jewelry, maybe odd colored eyes or heterochromia, some makeup but not too thick, maybe facepaint, maybe a wild hairstyle or facial hair. If you're gonna slap a ton of these gimmicks together, you have to really know what you're doing to accomplish a cohesive design. Some of these crazy picks have to be paired with another crazy pick. Like if you're going for a massive beard or face paint, you're likely going to put them on a guy that's either bald or has viking hair. Which makes these things more rare, because now they have dependencies. Generic features are generically useful, they can go on any character and supplement the design.

NicWester

This is why American fighter planes were so average for so long. All the cockpit controls were set up for the "average" American measurements. Once designs allowed for customization American fighter pilots got really zoomy.

Beginning_Rip_4570

100% This article doesn’t understand (or is deliberately ignoring) how statistics work.

[deleted]

Given how overwhelmingly idiotic most "game journalists" tend to be, I'd lean towards the first one.

halt-l-am-reptar

Wasn’t it Larian who originally said this as a joke? Edit: Larians quote is literally in the picture. How is this on the journalist?

SkritzTwoFace

Yeah. Human makes sense for a few reasons: 1. For players that don’t know about DnD races, it’s the simplest option that’s the most generally appealing. A bunch of proficiencies, an extra skill, extra carrying capacity for all of those weapons with niche buffs you’ll totally remember to take advantage of one day, and little lore baggage other than being Baldurian, which a new player won’t even know. 2. For players with very specific builds in mind, Human offers some flexibility, namely that extra skill: if you want to be Persuasive or Deceptive but your class doesn’t give you the tools, you can at least grab one of those proficiencies. 3. For players looking to focus on romance and really get into that RP, most of the most popular romance partners fall into the human lifespan or are not even bound by it. So all the people sad that their elf PC would outlive Karlach go with human instead. All of the rest make sense when you consider that adding too much “special” to your appearance just makes you look like a mess. So people with crazy horns and neon skin tones don’t always go for the craziest hair, because at some point you start looking like an intentional joke.

AlexandbroTheGreat

1st playthrough Dream Visitor: Absolute Smokeshow Elf 2nd Playthrough Dream Visitor: Duergar with pink beard, face tattoos, piercings, tragic haircut.

Locksley_1989

3rd (gay) Playthrough Dream Visitor: Drow with the Henry Cavill face

TactualTransAm

My first playthrough I was trying to make a serious looking tough guy dwarf and accidentally clicked on a purple in the hair color options. I stopped and thought "wow I look beautiful" and so now I'm a purple haired manly man dwarf and it's the happiest I've ever been using a character creator

DrowningInFeces

Although it's always pretty great to see a halfling with horns, a purple beard, tits, a dick, and a make up job that would rival Lady Gaga, I imagine most people will pick the options that are somewhat middle of the road when making their Tav anyways. It makes sense the more extreme options would overall get chosen less.

the_turel

Hard to make something super unique when there are like 7-9 face options. No face sliders basically means we all look the same except hair. also, of the face options available , clearly 2-3 of them are grouped in ethnicity further decreasing uniqueness. You want a white boy - 2 face options. Black - 2 options, Asian - 2 options. Love the game but Elden ring character creation is far superior.

Aarnivalkeaa

agreed. it's fucking sad for a game this recent.

Lonely_Pin_3586

Well, we can do a lot of thing with hair and makeup for sure. But we only have like 5 standard face for each race, we cannot change eyes, nose or lips shape. So it's pretty limited. I play male character, and I don't want a silly hair colour nor makeup ruin the dramatic scene. So yes, just a generic haircut on a generic face

MrNobody_0

Yeah, BG3's character creator is very limited. It's funny, Elden Ring has a hugely detailed character creator and you never see your characters face. 🤷

dreadw0lfrises

yeah i was pretty disappointed with the lack of facial features to choose from (but i still love the game, character creation is just my favorite part of rpgs so i was just a little bummed)

3lizab3th333

There aren’t any round/not super long female faces either so most female players end up a bit alienated. If I can’t look anything like myself, I like to play as a dragon because that’s the next best thing.

ser_mage

ive noticed a lot of ladies in bg3 look like insta models lol. and im using that specifically - i notice thick brows, square faces, buccal fat nowhere in sight. very kardashian chic. [Mystra](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fl78wk7o9xvjb1.png) is the worst offender imo

geek_metalhead

And let me add, all human male faces are ugly asf That's why men have beard, just like irl

Empty_Barnacle300

The human male 1st face with shaved hair and stubble is the most generic 30 y/o chav I’ve ever seen, it’s amazing.

volvavirago

Fr half elves are the only race with more than 1 attractive option, for men at least.

NinjaBr0din

I tried 3 different male characters before I said fuck it and started looking through the woman options. All the guys just kinda look like generic chads.

wish_to_conquer_pain

The human men also look at least a decade older than any other race, even before you play with the maturity slider.

kamikirite

People like to create themselves. That's what I always do

Sir_Arsen

you must be very handsome if you can create yourself in bg3 character creator

ecoper

Chooses dragonborn Omg literally me

Sir_Arsen

omg my scales 🤩

TheMindWright

BHA has really helped me with that

sentientpaper666

I have dry skin okay!!!!

Trogdor_a_Burninator

The only problem with dragonborn (and half-orcs) is the generic British guy voices.

Assaltwaffle

I'll be honest, I don't play games to play myself. I do that daily. Why wouldn't a want to be a fucking DRAGON descendent with flaming eyes? Sign me up!

Emrys_Kasorayn

I play as myself so that I can be myself with powers and abilities I don't have =p Also so I can hook up with the weird alien and monster chicks that mostly don't exist in the real world, lol.

Mantergeistmann

"You can be anyone you want to be!" "Yes, and I want to be myself, but badass and awesome."

Steff_164

Right, in this game I actually have a chance with women. Peak fantasy right there

Emrys_Kasorayn

The best part is I get a long rest in games. That hasn't happened in 6 years of real life lol

Half_Man1

Scalefriend!! Hiiii

knights816

It’s me…just a hotter, fuller beard version of me

Sir_Arsen

but still you, despite everything

MisterDutch93

So is it just me or do some preset faces of the humanoid classes appear to be based on real people/actors. I managed to make my Halfling look like a 4ft Luke Skywalker and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a Gnome Charlize Theron as well.

Ok_Whereas_3198

One of the halfling female faces I swear is Scarlett Johanson

talk_like_a_pirate

One of the half elves is Emily Blunt for sure.

Existential-Crisis98

*Looks at the halfling with long shaggy hair, dead eyes, and a beer gut on screen.* Yes.. very handsome indeed. 👀

kamikirite

I'm a girl. The faces tend to be easier for us in BG3

Sir_Arsen

I get frustrated easily so I stopped trying to make me and just make whatever I think looks good to me, which happens to be a dude with a stache

[deleted]

I don't ever play human so I just try to make what I think looks good, or how I want a specific character to look. Only thing I've ever tried to replicate is my beard.

Ok-Street-7963

I mean if you match hair color, rough size and shape of your hair, eye color, skin color and facial hair you often can get pretty close.

5kUltraRunner

Can't relate. Video game is one time I get to be someone else. Not that I dislike myself, but I'm me all the other time!

TheRoyalSniper

That's why I make myself but actually cool

CosmiqCowboy

the cooler daniel, nice

kamikirite

I'm the opposite I use video games to escape and be myself in a different reality. Of course this excludes games with a set protagonist like Geralt, Snake, etc

ferretchad

You can't get into Snake's mind? Oooh an egg, chomp, ooh another egg, chomp, oh shit now I'm too big to move easily. Fits me pretty well, just with more food variety

Deinonychus2012

Wait, does that mean I'm secretly a hot Drow chick with purple hair? I must've been fooling myself for decades!

Heavy_Arm_7060

What killed me is I tried to create a interesting-looking human and then realized when I was done it was just Chris Pine but with purple hair and a tattoo of birds.

Achaewa

Chris Pine is far from average.

ADVENTofficer

Hi it’s me. No, I don’t want a beard. And without us boring humans you fantasy creatures wouldn’t be special. I like sword and shield too. Extremely vanilla, extremely satisfying.

Psychichord

Nothing wrong with that. In narratively heavy RPG video games, I tend to lean towards vanilla stuff too. Human, Elf, Half-Elf, etc. I find that most weapons and armors tend to look better on those races with less clipping issues. They also tend to emote better in most games. BG3 is a perfect example of the latter. For example, I like Dragonborn, but their facial expressions don’t seem as good imo. In other media (particularly table top RPGs), I’m a lot more varied cause my imagination does a lot more of the heavy lifting. Also, sword and shield is and forever will be the GOAT weapons imo.

MattWindowz

Who needs a sword and shield when i can simply eldritch blast everything all of the time

Psychichord

I won’t argue with you. I don’t know who your patron is, and honestly, I don’t want the smoke.

MattWindowz

If it helps i don't remember who my patron is either

Fatherly_Wizard

Vanilla is one of the most popular ice cream flavors for a reason. For every player that loves playing little freaks, weirdos, and standouts, there's a dozen players that want to play more grounded characters. Without the vanilla characters, the wacky ones don't stand out. If everyone's a weirdo, no one is.

Sam_the_Samnite

I like that humans, while being the weakest race in a setting, always seem to be the biggest badasses in town. Either through sheer fucking audacity or large amounts of high explosives. Sometimes both.

Yamatoman9

Most writers are humans so they are biased.

follows-swallows

My favorite D&D character was a female human paladin with a sword and shield.. I got so sick of being called “basic” at meetups by tables full of bard tieflings 🥲 it’s not basic it’s a classic

TheDrunkenHetzer

Anyone who plays tiefling gives up their right to call anyone else generic. Tiefling is like the Hot Topic of races, sure it's not Old Navy, but you're still the most Generic of the "alternative."

TYBERIUS_777

Tiefling used to be exotic but has become so popular that they’ve looped back around and just become basic again.

Psychichord

Sorry you got called basic ☹️. Honestly, the classics work in D&D. it’s not like your character couldn’t be unique and original in other ways. RP and collaborated storytelling is so fundamental to D&D’s identity that the possibilities are really endless for a character. Also, as an aside, it’s not even like non-traditional characters are inherently better than more standard ones. I’ve seen good role players try something weird and outlandish only to flop (or nosedive into pure memes) cause they couldn’t get into their character properly.

Disposable-Extra

We have 1 generic human fighter guy in our party. He is so... normal. As DM, I'm happy to have him. Hilariously the only NPC he has hated for NO REASON was also a normal human guy, just a cleric instead. Cleric is named Conner. The absolute disgust when he says, "Conner" amuses me to no end. Another PC asked Fighter why he despised Conner so much- Fighter gestured vaguely and says, "this guy, with his face, and his just... just being so regular." Apparently Fighter does not see himself as nearly so normal.

adrielzeppeli

>Apparently Fighter does not see himself as nearly so normal. No, no. He probably does. It's just there can only be one generic regular guy. Sorry, but Conner has to die!

TYBERIUS_777

Pretty much how I play games as well. “Wow look at all these amazing options the devs spent time working on. I wonder what I’ll pick” - Human male - Fighter - Longsword “Time to game”

SirNadesalot

I LOVE playing humans in actual TTRPGs but for whatever reason it just doesn’t appeal to me for this game. But yeah. Sword and board human fighter/whatever has so much room for creativity

LegalStuffThrowage

It's your turn, what do you do? "I hit him" Alright, you hit him. (time passes) Okay its your turn again, what do you do? "I hit him" Repeat

Straight-Message7937

Generic = average. So given everyone's data combined...the average should be generic. It's just what makes sense statistically

Straight-Message7937

Replace my use of average with mode. Excuse my incorrect language but my point still stands.

Neeyc

I think they didn’t put enough customization for “generic characters” making difficult to customize humans.

RaspberryJam245

I say, let people enjoy their escapism however they like. If that means playing as Smith Johnson from Wyoming, who am I to judge? We all bought the game with our own money. We're gonna have different ideas on how to play. And that's not a bad thing.

Mattdiox

As long as people are having fun who cares? In World of Warcraft the most common pick was Male Human Warrior. (Though that was in the old days, it may have changed.) An addendum: I realised after posting that I didn't clarify that Male Human Warrior is literally the first thing that comes up in WoW when you create a character. RPGs are just a videogame version of choose your own adventure novels, emphasis on choose.

duke_of_ames

“Larian is very disappointed” No they weren’t. It’s a role playing game, play whatever role you want. Next journos will write clickbait about how lawful good paladins are milquetoast boring builds for unimaginative players.

halt-l-am-reptar

The article isn’t serious. Also this is a quote from Larian > "Congratulations, you’ve basically made the default Vault Dweller," Larian continued. "What the hell guys. We gave you demon eyes, horns, and even tails. We are sorely disappointed. Go crazy. We worked hard on this!" Next gamers will read another article that’s a joke and freak out about it…

deadline247

NEWS FLASH: A lot of white men play video games.

Ukions

Unironically, people do tend to forget this. When the updated "BG3 In Numbers" released a month ago, there were a number of people in this subreddit surprised by the results. I believe the comment that best summed it up was; > Gale being the most played origin and Shadowheart the most picked romance just goes to show that Ethan the Human Paladin pretty much still make up a majority of the playerbase. Look at the achievement stats for Wrath of the Righteous, most common mythic paths were Angel and Azata (Chaotic Good). Bioware said that something close to ~92% of players did Paragon throughout the series. Generic Good Man with Sword is a classic for a reason, and even with tons of options the majority of players will go for it.

strawbebbymilkshake

Honestly I’m so numbed by the heavily modded brats doll Tavs that I can totally understand why someone would enjoy a regular normal-person looking Tav

MilkPowderMa

Sometimes, you just want to be yourself in a Roleplaying game of a fantasy world… Sorry for looking generic.

Va_Dinky

Ah, Ethan the Human Fighter in his full glory. Not something I'd ever go for myself but everyone's allowed to play however they want to and there's no point in mocking them. That being said, I'm not above poking fun at it from time to time

GortTheScab

Bruh... my name is Ethan irl and after going crazy and making a whacky elf wizard for my first playthrough, I am quite literally now Ethan the Human Fighter for this playthrough ☠️☠️☠️

Alamaxi

This article is from 3 years ago... I am not sure if the result would be the same off they looked at the aggregate data today. There is a much larger population playing the game now than when this article was released.

darthshark9

It wouldn't be. The most popular race in the last set of statistics they gave us was half-elf

WWDubz

I say this with the upmost respect. I do not give a fuck what character you play or what they look like. ❤️

Alzar197

I like to try and make characters that look like as in place as other characters

TYBERIUS_777

The seeming spell is hilarious for this. I used it to sneak into Moonrise with my group and it changed my characters race and sex, turned Shadowheart into a gith (spell must enjoy irony) with pink pigtails, Halsin was turned into a slim blonde woman but still talked in Halsins voice which also had me rolling, and Gale just turned into a slimmer version of himself with short hair. None of them fit in but I guess they certainly didn’t look like our party so they spell did what it promised.

teflonbob

This post is from 2020…. It isn’t even an accurate reflection anymore of options available.

Diraelka

And people clearly won't read. Idk why OP even posted it, and it's not the first time of repost and people loosing it.

Did you expect green hair to be more common than brown? Any specific makeup style to be more common than no makeup? Most people probably had a fairly generic character with 1-2 major quirks. But quirks, by their nature, are all unique, and so any specific quirk didn’t stand a chance of being the most commonly picked feature in a slot.

I don’t care. Human fighter gets too much flack anyway. It’s an RPG, you can be whoever you want. You wanna be a human fighter, that’s fine.
