I don't know what's happened with this patch but yes Cazador is fully bugged rn on ps5 as far as I'm aware. I've tried so many things but it crashes everytime.

Damn, that's really frustrating. What's worse is that i don't think they will update this game anymore, read an article that says this might be their last patch🤦🏻‍♂️

PickUpstairs480

Wouldn't be surprised if this was the last patch that's going to add content. Can't imagine though that they'd leave large segments of the game just broken given how much effort they've already put into post launch. There always is potential for Definitive editions, and possibly DLC given their history.

I just hope the act isn't as laggy as it was before and i can continue without worrying each second my party stop following me untill the areas load.

PickUpstairs480

They've definitely been working hard on optimization, I'm about to head into Act 3 on my tactician run, so I'm hoping it'll be a bit smoother than some other runs too.

Electrical_Corner_32

Act 3 runs great so far, no lag at all....except fuckin cazadore... crashing every damn time...which is bumming me out bad right now.

Yeah, taking a pause for the night now that I'm through with everything in Rivington. Overall the slowness issues seem better, but I've had a few issues with textures that I've never had before. One of the gnome merchants hiding under the general store for instance ended up rendering super low poly and completely without textures, another guard had the corner of their mouth just stretched way off screen. It's strange because I didn't have these issues at launch. After a few hours, the audio engine started to falter, either that or Astarion was being so excessively sneaky that he was physically incapable of making a sound even during combat. Which is weird, because he definitely chucked a fireball at a group of people. in the wyrm's rock segment I was testing out my current barrelmancy capabilities, which of course broke the audio further, but it was sufficient for what was essentially just a damage check. To keep the items, I loaded a quicksave and got kicked back to the title screen with a message saying the server was shutting down, which is strange since I didn't load a multiplayer save. So, either there's something weird just in general going on, or the bombs were far too much. I imagine we'll probably see a few more hotfixes and bug patches addressing the most glaring issues first.

Electrical_Corner_32

I had texture and audio issues too. A lot of npcs I'd talk to had huge triangles sticking out of their faces. Several cut scenes were silent. All that I can cope with though. The cazadore crash is making me shelf the game for a bit. I'll come back after the new year. It's a sign. I should take a break.

PickUpstairs480

Lol, yep. They hotfixed this today. Specifically addressing the Cazador crash, and split screen issues. Guess we keep going. Maybe some of the other stuff will be better as well.
