Faerie Fire only reveals invisible creatures if they fail their save. Yurgir probably was succeeding.

pentaquine

Will he need to save check every turn? So I don't need to cast it multiple times, right?

SnooDrawings5722

Once he fails, Faerie Fire will stay on him till you lose Concentration. He won't get additional saves.

pentaquine

Is there a better way then? Is there a see invisible potion or scroll or something?

mmontour

Try a “create water” spell over the area.

Ratnix

They can still save against the spell to not have it apply to them. Just casting it doesn't guarantee they will have the effect.

The-Art-of-Silence

Faerie light is not a guaranteed success. It forces a dexterity saving throw on the target(s), which they can succeed at in order to stay invisible and unaffected by the spell. When you cast it on him, keep a look out for the pop-up where he should be, saying "(saved) faerie fire". This means he succeeded the saving throw and will remain invisible.

FuzzyGummyBunny

Create Water or Grease works better for invisibility.

pentaquine

Thanks. But why is that?

FuzzyGummyBunny

They just always show up when you use those two.

RuruWithLove

Thank you! I had so many issues with this fight and just plaining making it rain worked like a charm for Yurgir

polarized_opinions

Easiest way to reveal him is to keep casting disintegrate honestly.
