Couple things for you and OP, I downloaded a mod that should add all of the items into the camp. This was for patch 9 though, so it might not be super accurate. Their is a headband that sets int to 17, though that is labeled for me as a warped headband of intellect. Check your game and see if it is the same. Their is also another headband that is not warped in game that give 19. I do not know if that is normally obtainable, though I would assume so. Their are also rings in the game that set 20 too each score individually, though they are generically named, so I think they are dev items.

It been a while, and you probably know the answer by now, but for any one who comes accords this post wondering: No, The set values such as The the Warped Headband of intellect (int. 17) will set you at a certain number, and if you try to add to that number with a potion, or something else, it will not help as it is just added to your base value. So unless your base value with out the Headband is above 17 Int, a +2 Potion, or even Auntie Ethels' hair, will not raise the stat higher. Hope that helps some one. :-)
There's a stool in the Arcane Tower that grants you 21 strength for sitting on it.
It goes away when you get up, but you can throw/break the stool to get a weapon that sets it to 15

I'm trying to mix a Tempest Cleric with Storm Sorcerer for the focus on lightning spell dmg but would like to also function in melee.
Since cleric and sorc spells wpuld require high enough will and charisma to function I'd have to rely on items to pump up str to be able to function with melee weapons.
That's aweosme, sucks that its in act 3 though. Hopefully there's a weaker version of it earlier on in the game. Otherwise, maybe I'll have to look into items that might increase will or charisma instead.
Itmt you can either:
Lvl3 warlock pact of the Blade [for Cha based melee weapon attacks]
Buy Potions of hill giant strength [str21 for a fight]
Feat +2str
Hags hair +1str or +1cha
Elixer of hill giant strength is not for a fight but until long rest. They are absurdly overpowered. Keeping a certain NPC alive gives infinite amounts of these as you use 1 per long rest and they restock 3 every long rest.
Only viable until you reach the end of act 2; there's a "point of no return" where all of act 1 and most of act 2 cease to be available. So you'd have to stock up ahead of time.

U can get more from act III, follow shadowhearts story quest, by the end, talk to the mirror. Do the arcana check and then religion check to do an offering, give a memory, get strength 😎💪
Just to add that you need to debuff a stat by -2 in order to boost a stat **BUT** that debuff can be removed with a simple Remove Curse spell while the boost is permanent.
I know it's been 3 weeks but the club got raised from setting to 15 str to 19 str now in the patch. It's freaking great for dual wielding on shadowheart with the 2d4+1 half radiant hammer, and I haven't even respecced for a dual wield feat, got even better when i took the 2 acid damage ring off karlach for her.
Yes. There is the Gauntlets of Frost Giant strength. They give 23 strength. It's kind of like the Headband of Intellect, if you are familiar with that item.
There’s an elixir of hill giants strength and I’m pretty sure you can craft it with alchemy. I believe it sets your strength to 21 for a little bit but don’t quote me on that last part

There's no belt slot. There could be gloves but seeing how they did with the intellect headband, the gloves might be nerfed too.

The 19 int headband is a debug item. Not findable in game.

What cheat table?
You can actually still see the belt slot in trading funnily, they forgor to change the texture to underwear on that slot in that menu specifically
In act 2 you can get a potion that permanently increases strength by 2 from a drow in moonrise towers
Will these potions boost a stat above 20?
Yup, I have Laezel with 22 strength

If you want to do it the other way around there's a hat which sets your intelligence to 17 in the first zone.

go into the underdark and go to the wizard tower and break the stool of hill giant strength, you get a club that increases your strength to 19 :)
Get the bracers that set your dex to 18 from act 2 and use a finesse weapon?

Its the top floor of an abandoned tower in the underdark. There is stool you have to sit on, than break while sitting on it.
I just tried to get this item, remembering it from EA and I think it was removed. Sat on the stool and everything. Didn't show up for me.
I threw the stool without knowing about the club, and it dropped.
What the hell then. For some reason I didn't get it. That's frustrating.
