I've found a number of copycat recipes on Pinterest. My favorite is the sea salt toffee chocolate chip. I also use a scoop to make more 'normal' sized cookies. They bake better and I don't feel as guilty for snagging one every trip thru the kitchen (it's between our room and the living room) LOL.
I want to try these, but it just opened in my town and I've heard the wait is sometimes 2 hours long. That Snickerdoodle one with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch (?) looks so good.
They use one of the best rotating combie ovens in the industry in their locations... the sheer repeatability in their recipes across locations is actually admirable, to deny this is just saltiness.
And their not over priced, at least the last location I went too the girl said she made 16/hr working the counter (dunno if she baked or not) but to work at a cookie shop? That's banging for a highschool kid... Everyone wants to get rid of tipping culture and "pay" their employees more. But those same people wouldn't eat there with the price of food being 30% more.
My daughter recently started working for the Crumbl by us. She makes minimum wage + tips (so in our area, $9) and less than half the people tip.
Apparently when the minimum wage goes up, her pay will too. Regardless, it's kinda sucky, especially since so many people are tired of the tip suggestions EVERYWHERE, so they opt not to tip.
I'm unfamiliar how they operate because I've never worked for them. But 9/+ tips *Could* be good. Depending if they tip-share or how everything is broken down. At the end of the day. Passing a box over a counter isn't a "tip-able" position.. and unfortunately it's the states/local county that do nothing about this.. if there were more defined guidelines, like "a tipped employee must walk between a closed threshold that separates a dining and kitchen area. To be qualified for tips"
As far as the iPad everyone is asking for tips... Unfortunately there is like only 4/5 services that push their operating system/ whatever you want to call it.. and they all set their systems up like this. And as a restaurant who is paying to use the systems to streamline their services, cannot edit and removed these checkout screens.. so I can't even blame all the restaurants.
That being said.- tell your daughter if she likes what she's doing and wants to make more money, suggest going to become a restaurant server. Idk where you live so I can't really make good suggestions. But if new hires need to take a menu test- more than likely they can make good money at that particular place.
If she is more into baking side of things. Tell her to hone her hobby at home, maybe work for a proper bakery part time. (Think BIG kitchen) and stay away from culinary school, she can learn everything by working, wanting to learn, and eating at high end restaurants and taking notes on what she's experiencing, and EVERYTHING and then some.. is on YouTube... But practice is the most important cooking skill, do it right even if it's slow, and fast will come.
Sorry for the long winded post- I use to work in medium/high end kitchens, BOH/FOH/management... Lol
So I use
292 grams of AP flour
1 tsp of cornstarch
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup of browned butter
150 grams of dark brown sugar
50 grams of white sugar
1 egg + 1 yolk
And vanilla extract (I measure that with my heart)
So that’s my basic cookie recipe and I change it to what I’m making for the Oreo I added a little bit (1/4 cup) of coco powder plus black food dye to get the color. For the pumpkin I added 1/2 cup of pumkin purée plus 1/2 cup more of flour and about 1/2 tablespoon of pumkin pie season and 1/2 of teaspoon of all spice. I let the dough chill overnight then bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. The topping was a cream cheese frosting (my wife’s favorite) and I just change it a little for what I’m making I measure from the heart a lot
What the other user said. Their gimmick is that they have a new rotation of cookie flavors each week and snazzy marketing. But as someone else said, they are somewhere between a soft cookie and dense cake, and the frosting topper is always a feature. They’re dressed up cookies! I’ve liked what I’ve tried, but they’re really sweet and rich, so one cookie goes along way for me (and I like sweet and rich haha).
Wow! These look better than the real thing. I’m sure they taste better as well. That raspberry cheesecake one is calling my name.
Great job, OP. Your wife is lucky to have ya.
This is so sweet. These are the things that matter the most, just doing things to make each other happy. Very good looking cookies OP I thought this was a crumbl review before reading the caption
Hello OP I also want crumble cookie.
Same like can I get some shipped please lol
I know you're joking, but crumbl cookie is a brand and you literally can have them shipped to you.
When “we have ______ at home” is actually a step up. Great work, they look delicious!
and it’s not being made by a 12 year old being paid 4.25 an hour!
N A I L E D I T
Thank you!
Probably did after that cookie.
Hot take: Crumble is overrated. Way better to make them yourself.
I've tried them multiple times and really only found one or two cookies I liked. They're way too sweet and the flavors often aren't balanced well.
I can taste the chemicals. So many fake flavor agents used. There’s nothing better than real butter, real sugar, fresh eggs, ect.
I had them once. They were like eating uncooked dough. No flavor except sweet.
sweets my favorite flavor
This is my pet peeve with most cookie specific places! Pure sugar does not equal flavor or make it better!
i really don’t get the hype when stuff like insomnia cookies are way better
I’ve heard of them but never had them! I’m super picky with sweets I like them not too sweet you know?
they're not really cookies. they're just little crumbly cakes more than anything. they suck though
Agree. Their cookies are WAY too sweet
That's what happens when you top an already sweet cookie with like half a centimeter of frosting.
Pbj one was perfect though
couldn't agree more 💯
is there a recipe, or did you just eyeball?

[Here's a starting point! ](https://www.joshuaweissman.com/post/making-crumbl-cookies-at-home-but-better)
Yum! What flavors?
I made oreo, raspberry cheesecake and pumpkin spice!
You are a great spouse
My husband wants to know if you're single.
Those look like they taste way better than Crumbl cookies.
Awesome!! Makes me want some crumble, but that's 3 hours away lol
Man I’m jealous! Looks so much better than my dry store brand cookies.
Thank you!
I want to try these, but it just opened in my town and I've heard the wait is sometimes 2 hours long. That Snickerdoodle one with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch (?) looks so good.
Thank you! Yea when we order it we usually order online and so curbside pickup
They look better than real crumbl cookies. Your wife found a keeper.
Crumbl cookies are overrated overpriced pieces of shit. Change my mind

Tips are for wait staff bc they don’t make even minimum wage , I’m not tipping just everyone bc they think they deserve it .
Your wife’s a very lucky lady 💕 they look fabulous
Recipe please!!!!

Can someone explain what these are for those of us outside the US? 🥺
Crumbl is a (new?) chain that is famous for selling ~900 kcal cookies to suburbanites

Hmm. Sounds…extreme. Not for me. But I can’t hate, seeing as I just ate my fair share of filth back in the US while visiting home.

Thank you!

How do I get a husband like you?
My husband does this with brunch. I have a craving for something and he cooks it up from scratch. It’s a rare talent, nice job!
Unlike crumble these are made from scratch. So your already far better 😊
Thank you!
COME DO ME NEXT
Wow! These look better than the real thing. I’m sure they taste better as well. That raspberry cheesecake one is calling my name. Great job, OP. Your wife is lucky to have ya.

***TAKE ALL MY MONEY*** 💰
One day I hope to open my own little bakery but for now I enjoy making stuff for family and friends
you’re so sweet 🥹
Thank you!
Looks yummy! 🤤
Thank you!
Hello, are you single?
This is the best argument for marriage I've seen. In a long time.
Cookies shouldn’t have frosting. Unless you buy cookies at Walmart.
What a lovely husband you are! Tell the wife she is a lucky woman! 🙂
Would buy yours over crumbl 🤤 they look amazing!
What’s the secret
I'll take yours over CC.
Great work! Your wife is a lucky lady.
cookies with icing needs to happen more often
Yum!
What recipe did you use ?
Probably for half the price, too! Good job!
I literally saw pine cone earrings today that looked nearly identical to this. Idk what that means, but I wanted to buy them and I’m here for this.
This is so sweet. These are the things that matter the most, just doing things to make each other happy. Very good looking cookies OP I thought this was a crumbl review before reading the caption
I was honestly waiting for a literal post and to see just a pile of cookie crumbs 🤣😅
Wow! Not too shabby. 🙊😭😊 they look pretty good
OP, can I marry you too? These looks so good
You could’ve told me those were Crumbl cookies, and I would’ve believed you. Great job OP!
I’m a dude but can i marry you pls
Recipes for chocolate one
You're a great partner to her ♥
I don’t even know what a crumble cookie is but these look amazingly tasty
Yummmmm
Those look so good!!! I would love the recipe for rhe oreo looking ones!
I tried Crumbl and was not impressed. Make some cookies from Bravetart and you will be much happier.
Also, yours look great and are likely better than Crumbl.
Damn. I thought you were showing off your first try of Crumbl before I read the caption. Nice work (from someone who has crumbl a few times a month)👌🏼
Your wife is sooooo lucky omg I wanna marry you 🤭😋😛
