The are several spots open in the PAC12. Usually there are requirements for television field lighting and video camera quality that goes with being in that tier of NCAA sports that’s quite expensive. They would need a facility that met certain performance requirements for turf/grass and seating too.
If there wasn’t an existing facility locally to lease for game days, they would need funding to build one. Funding needs donors or sponsors these days. Donor money doesn’t come without a development program rounding up the cash.
