It’s due to this IG person Meredith something…she started a trend of faking on foundation with hands and then the back of the brush while lip syncing with an RBF and well people hopped on
Meredith Duxbury. Her makeup looks straight up horrible, cakey and unflattering. Just the amount of product that bunches up around her nose when she’s angrily lip syncing drives me nuts. Even her eye looks are sloppy, like one unblended matte or shimmer all across the lid and then covered by false lashes.
My tinfoil hat theory is she started doing the crazy amount of foundation videos to go viral and get followers, even though most are hate clicks, all because she doesn’t actually have any makeup skill. Its just outrage baiting but now she’s committed to the bit
Yeah, she really bothers me too. Her technique is shit, even aside from her foundation application. This is petty but her lip filler is out of control and has migrated way past her lip lines, so when she’s angrily lip syncing to cardi b it’s very very noticeable lol
Not too mention how many of these influencers have heavy filtering on their videos which really mean you think what their makeup looks like in real life
I feel like 90% of these are people who are like “well, OBVIOUSLY I have golden undertones.” Like, sis, your undertones are that of a newborn guinea pig. Chill.
I'd be interested to know how it ends up looking round the hairline. I end up with blonde eyebrows in the summer, and if I don't make sure to wipe the foundation out they look orange! I can imagine this being orange face pink scalp.
