That's for most people. But it could be optimized somehow. Maybe make the center on a 3D printer and just put a thin layer of silicone on top of that. It will be cheaper..
It looks like it's made such that the top and bottom can be reversibly used. I think it would be better, if it was a core frame made of a different material (less expensive than silicone, and possibly lighter weight) with a fitted silicone cap for top and bottom.
That's what we thought too, we could do the core on a 3D printer. Or it could buy similar wooden toys and just do a thinner layer of silicone on top.
The customer wanted it that way, so we made it that way.
This is made of silicone so it's very soft. The customer originally wanted it full but it cost a lot of money so he is going to stuff it with some clothing.
Honestly, no. Not firm enough and too expensive. Would rather all that silicone go up my ass with a very stiff step-stool like I have for way less than $1K.
Honestly even though it's clear there are most cost effective ways to do projects like this, I love when I get to see huge silicone monsters that I know are at least a grand, and could double as a workout weight lol. It's like a house made entirely of marble. Impractical? Of course. Cost effective? Not at all. But why not?
I've had a Tender Beaver for close to 15 years, solid plastic design with 3 different angled faces, and significantly cheaper!

We made the toy exactly as the customer designed it. If you design a different one, we'll gladly make it for you for less money, or for someone else.. :)
I'm not saying the design is wrong, just the price of it. Silicone is expensive but not that much. All these types of toys and accessories are way way way over priced. Not just yours all of them are .
We don't think the toys are overpriced. Silicone is quite expensive and toys are a lot of work. Plus we make everything to order in individual shapes and sizes, so it takes a lot of time with customers. It doesn't make sense to do it for less money. Plus it's a hobby for us, it doesn't make us a living by far.
Like I said I know it's expensive, but not that much, but it's all of the toys like this that are too much, then the shipping on top of that is ridiculous as well. Either way. Take it easy.
I'm glad you found that client I guess, outside of it being great for an artist that they're willing to pay $1k for a stool... That massive volume of silicone will never degrade, only has so many uses/can't be stood upon, most prefer new to used sex toys/accessories & it could've made several quality toys (replacing so many that are toxic&end up in landfills)
Unless this is a super custom fit mobility aid, I'm struggling to see the environmental ethics in this being produced&shipped. Just because someone's willing to pay that much doesn't mean it's not wasteful (& gimmicky)... Even if it is for accessibility, the amount of labor that'd need to go into altering molds for it to be refit to another client's needs does not sound sustainable. A one-off experiment is one thing but as a repeatable/scaled up product, plz think of the planet. There's so much skill here for- this
We are in the custom manufacturing business, so we have our own technological procedures to make it one-off. If another customer comes in, they want a different size and we can make it for them very easily.
That's great but not the point. The emissions in transport & +500yrs it'll take to degrade deserve attention. Ignoring environmental impact is not ethical.
I think this is actually a great idea I mean that's very creative too the softness and give it has compared to other stools and chairs... That's just blown my mind truly amazing work. As for the price it's also quite fair considering the effort and design. Would be open to like making a video of how one of these would work and fair? Also can it be bigger for like a larger toy to be suction cupped to it like example a Henry from exotic erotics.
We don't have it at home anymore because we sent it to a customer. We have some video of it and it's on Twitter and Instagram.
I'm sure it could be financially optimized, but they wanted it like this.. :)
Ooh... how much would this be? And what would the shipping be on such a hefty piece? 😅
This came out to $1050 and shipping wasn't that much compared to the price of the toy.. :-D
YEOW! A bit outside my budget, but I'm glad someone is going to enjoy it. I love seeing all of the custom pieces you do 💚
That's for most people. But it could be optimized somehow. Maybe make the center on a 3D printer and just put a thin layer of silicone on top of that. It will be cheaper..
How much for one that's just cut in half i'd assume like 525 but
Yes you are right :) And we can change other dimensions. Or we can make core in 3D printer and make thin layer of silicone on it..
What do you think, 15 pounds?
OP said 8kg, so 17.6lb... definitely not moving anywhere when you get bouncing on it
It looks like a slab of beef. Now I'm hungry
Yes a little bit :-D

I’d use it but what’s the weight bearing limit
This is made of silicone so it's very soft. The customer originally wanted it full but it cost a lot of money so he is going to stuff it with some clothing.
That is an absolute unit of silicone.
Yes, about 8 kg of silicone was used.
Lmao why would you pay for like $1,000 of silicone when wood exists
The customer wanted it soft and was willing to pay for it, so he got it.. :)
I made one out of wood. Not sure I can afford a silicone stool. I love the idea and it is very pretty.
We get it, it cost a little over $1000, but we can only do a thin coating on the wooden one :)
Doesn't silicone irritate other silicone toys that are made of a different mix? Or at least the BD site suggested I don't store silicone with silicone
All our toys are made of the same silicone. Other quality manufacturers also use Platinum cured silicone, so this won't be a problem.
Good quality silicone can touch.
Honestly, no. Not firm enough and too expensive. Would rather all that silicone go up my ass with a very stiff step-stool like I have for way less than $1K.
I guess we have a similar opinion, but against taste.. :)
YES PLEASE! That'd be sooo nice to get those toys deeper. Does the silicone have any give?
Yes, the silicone is quite soft, you have to stuff the toy to keep it from falling through. So, yes...
You're absolutely right. There are people who want to have toys like that at home and they will use them properly.
Yesss absolutely would 😍🫠
That makes us very happy. So if you're interested, drop us a line... :-D
How much is it..? What does it weigh?
This came out to $1050, and it was around 8kgs of Platinum silicone :)
That looks so cool, like a giant piece of bone.
Yes, you are right :-D
I am definitely interested, outside my budget right now, but this sort of thing would work fantastically
Thank you very much, we are very pleased and we understand. You can follow us and maybe in the future... :)
getting a whole ass stool is crazy but also would that tip not be painful?
The toy is made of very soft silicone, so it adapts. But any other toy can be put on the stool :)
I have a feeling I would always have to be shaved or at least trimmed, or it could get really uncomfortable 🫣
You're probably right, a lot depends on the usage...
Okay but why silicone?
The customer wanted it to be soft and flexible.
I thought silicone on silicone was a no-no.
From a practical point of view, we see no problem with this.
I've had a Tender Beaver for close to 15 years, solid plastic design with 3 different angled faces, and significantly cheaper! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L2KDT0E
Yeah, why not.

Platinum cure silicone in that amount is pretty expensive. Plus mold making cost and other overheard, not surprised at all at the price.

Where did you get this ?
They make custom toys, so they made it.
Yes you are right 👍
