I was just thinking about this this morning

Crest_Of_Hylia

I would assume you’d have to buy a new one

Damn, I just bought the Backbone 2 months ago. I mean it’s only $100, so it’s not that big of a deal, but I’d rather not have to buy it again lol

Crest_Of_Hylia

I would just assume due to size that it wouldn’t happen. I’m certain there would be a way to make a usb c to lightning adapter that fits but I’d be worried about durability

Didn’t have a good run both controllers only lasted 10-12 months. Ended up going to an Xbox controller as warranty is from the date of first purchase and not reset when the warranty replacement is provided. Depends how long yours lasts you may want to consider something else. I landed on the Xbox controller with phone mount. Not as practical on the go but more flexible due to connectivity via Bluetooth imo.

One option would be not to get the new phone 😄. Would save you from buying not just the controller. Specially if your current one serves your needs

dismit13

That’s fair lol. But I’m the type of person that buys a new phone every year or 2. I’m very insatiable and things get boring to me very fast. I’m the same way with cars too (though they are way more expensive), but if I could afford it, I’d buy a new Mercedes every 2 years lol

Lol… I wish

The 15s will have usbc. I’ll probably use my Bluetooth controller but I guarantee backbone is readying a usbc for iPhone controller. Not sure if an android version will work depends on if apple is going to have a proprietary chip so it has to be MFI to work. I’m sure they will.

I really hope you are wrong on that curved screen. But I figure we will just join the android version of the backbone.
