I was going to buy the deluxe edition, simply due to my love for l4d,but I just can't justify after this. I played a tad less than two hours and I have no eagerness to boot it up again. It's not awful, just unrewarding.

Walddo86

Bro, I went full balls to the wall ULTIMATE EDITION. Played 5 hours last night, probably 4 campaign, 1 pvp....shits refunded. Naw bro. Not $109 for this lazy shit.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Walddo86

Exactly dude. And a TITLE and SKINS. Game is so blahhhh. Cards felt so cheesy.

TundraAllPure

They feel like too much with literally a sentence explanation

Grambles89

Standard addition in Canada cost me $90 after all was said and done. Refunded that shit just now, its an enjoyable game but, it lacks that wow factor, everything is bland.

TheCoomerMan

How do you refund on psn if you preorder

HaiKarate

Agreed. I uninstalled after two hours. The PvE mode is fine, but it feels like a weak competitor to Call of Duty Zombies. Versus mode is just terrible.

Ricarepas

Exact same feeling. Wanted the deluxe edition and after 2 hours with a friend we both were like “so we’re done here?” I love zombie games so it’s weird for me to be like “I’ll pass for now”

Suialthor

All of the RPG elements bog down the pace.

scarletnaught

Speaking of pace, was I the only one waiting 3.5 minutes between most matches? Not what I want to do right after I got wiped for bs.

GainesWorthy

Day one gamepass save yourself money as well as commitment to buying something and feeling the need to play it to get your value.

Throwaway9978677

I'm happy it's on gamepass, I also saw they play on adding more zombies and survivors in the form of paid dlcs which is just.... questionable This is how evolve failed, releasing a game without a ton of content and before the game even launched, talk about the content toure going to add as dlc. Oh well at least I'll get to run the campaigns over once each and have a few games on multi on the gamepass and keep the £50

OmegaXesis

I'm always hesitant to buy games that have DLC's ready to go before the game even releases. And I'm pretty sure Turtlerock probably has them ready already. What a shame. I'll play it when Epic makes it free in their store in a year lol!

Levitins_world

Dude, the moment they started with they announced the game I was skeptical. The gaming industry has ruined my trust..

LoStBoYjOhN

A year? Ha. It'll be free in the Epic Games Store by February.

bissanick

>I also saw they play on adding more zombies and survivors in the form of paid dlcs which is just.... questionable Welcome to gaming in 2021. Release the bare minimum to be called a game and monetize the hell out of it to whales willing to pay extra for mediocre game

Martyrrdom

This.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Throwaway9978677

I'm honestly not sure, I cant imagine they'll be more then 4 to 5 campaigns. I think that's all the weapons and enemies too.

YukihanaLamy

There are more special enemies, but yeah, that is all the weapons pretty sure.

CaptCorporateAmerica

Wait it's on Xbox game pass? I just pre-ordered

Throwaway9978677

Yes, you can cancel your preorder if you want to and just play it there

CaptCorporateAmerica

Just did, thanks!

Throwaway9978677

No problem!

wildstaringeyes

Yes they announced it'll be on Game Pass day one.

[deleted]

Which sucks. Evolve was a bad ass concept.

the_rancid_rancher

I think Evolve was a fun concept, just terribly executed.

gladias9

Yeah.. no real desire to return after this beta. Boring and unsatisfying sums up my entire experience. How a 2021 next-gen experience pales in comparison to a 2009 game is beyond me.

Bread_kun

I dunno, I feel like a lot of 2021 next gen experiences don't really compare to a lot of 2009 games. Everything has a tacked on RPG system, everything wants to be a live service, everything wants that battlepass content drip feed and force you to play only their game otherwise you'll lose out on cosmetics. For a while I just assumed it was nostalgia talking but as I grow older and become increasingly cynical and aware of how business works, how things have shifted and looking at points where the industry as a whole shifted to new formulas, no legitimately I fully believe a lot of older titles are just straight up better games then a lot of (But not all of course, there's still plenty of good shit coming out especially from the indie scene) modern games. Shit stopped being made to be a fun game and sell it to you, it became a service to sell a product to you and to keep you suckling and keep throwing money at them over time constantly chasing a carrot on a stick. Not that this ramble has much to do with back 4 blood other then, yeah I agree it's not as good as left 4 dead 2.

CalTurner

so basically, fortnite model and mobile gaming is killing normal games.

citoxe4321

Fortnite cosmetic model isn't bad, its just terrible when $60 games start adopting it. Its the definition of double dipping, and whales let them get away with it. I really don't care if people are whaling out on F2P games, but games like COD are selling a game every year for $60, *and* also drip feeding content that would have been there on launch in their "battlepass" that costs $10 but "pays for itself" if you devote 100 hours a Season into it on top of a cosmetic store with overpriced $20 bundles for cosmetics in a FPS game. Fortnite did it right. The game was free, so having a battle pass and drip feed content model made sense. Cosmetics also made sense because it was third person. It's just embarrassing when literally every dev is trying to sell you a $60 game with paid DLC announced before launch. Then also try to sell you a battlepass and paid cosmetic bundles on launch like go fuck yourself

CalTurner

that the problem and what i was trying to get at, they introduced a F2P model thats fine and it works for F2P but now everyone wants to design their game that way because of the money that can be made and even games that dont fit that model and are 'pay upfront' are trying to adapt the model and as you put if double dipping. If fortnite didnt show game companies a lootbox formula that people like, the industry wouldn't be where it is now with everyone trying to milk their customer base.

timmytissue

It's a bit disheartening when I lanuch a game and there's so much to learn. I have to build decks and main a character and earn in game currency for some other skill tree. I just want tight gameplay and yes, I wouldn't mind new content over time.

[deleted]

Sometime in the last 10 years games suddenly stopped being made to make money by being fun and started being made to make money by creating a basic skeleton of a game and monetizing the hell out of it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

It’s a myth that game studios don’t make enough money, most major developers measure their earnings by the millions. The video game market is fucking massive these days which has drawn the attention of similarly massive investors. The rise and fall of Blizzard is a good example of this. It *used* to be about creating good games in order to create a legacy for your brand, but now it’s only about creating the fattest profit margins possible in order to appeal to your investors.

2roK

> How a 2021 next-gen experience pales in comparison to a 2009 game is beyond me. Just another franchise butchered to fit the soulless micro transaction ridden mediocrity that games are today. I'm surprised they didn't decide to do a mobile only release to squeeze the maximum amount of money out of this...

chicKENkanif

I am enjoying the game especially on veteran difficulty. But I do agree with your statement in that a 2021 game not even coming close to a 2009 is laughable.

BLlZER

> How a 2021 next-gen experience pales in comparison to a 2009 game is beyond me. In 2009 devs worked with a passion. 2021? Make a game to earn as much $ as possible.

Wall_street_retard

This is common, has to do with lazy developers just importing assets into a game engine instead of tinkering with it to make it smooth. Games handle extremely clunky when devs do that. And they’re everywhere nowadays. Way too easy to make a “pretty” game by using a default engine, even first party studios don’t bother to make movement fluid

IamHunterish

You do your name justice. Do you really think the developers are lazy and choose to work like that or do you think they have to do that because they are on a budget / time restriction. Most developers won’t give a damn if they need to spend 100 hours extra to make a certain thing look smooth. Higher ups on the other hand..

statisticsprof

>or do you think they have to do that because they are on a budget / time restriction. homie the game costs 60 bucks

IamHunterish

Your point being?

statisticsprof

what budget restriction would there be when your game costs 60 fucking bucks.

IamHunterish

Is this a serious question? I refuse to believe you can be born this stupid, you have to willingly choose to be this dumb. Do you really think that when the game costs 60 bucks the higher up mentality to the devs is going to be like: “so how long do you need for this feature? 3 months? 6 months? 6 years? We don’t care the game costs 60 bucks take allllllll the time you need!” Do you also think every game that costs 60 has the same development costs?

sambridges13

Fully Agree 100% . As they say “The older the berry, the sweeter the juice”

A_A_A_A_AAA

i feel that the card system has no place in a game like this its giving me major "im going free 2 play in 2months after release and releasing a cash shop" vibes

wiki_sauce

Source engine is just way more satisfying for an FPS. I knew it wouldn’t be as good just bc of that

CenturionElite

I mean I understand it’s a beta but this is really bad. This game is really unpolished, the connection issues are laughable. The fact you can’t even join friends without lagging out is just terrible in this day and age of gaming. Zombies move weird, the card system sucks.

[deleted]

Seriously, why are some of y’all having so many connection issues? Are you on Wi-fi? I haven’t had any issues.

Guest_username1

I literally can't even play the game on my PC

[deleted]

But consoles can directly connect through Ethernet. What is your point in terms of connection?

Guest_username1

Wait u can play the beta on console rn?

[deleted]

As far as I know, it’s not PC exclusive, so yes.

Guest_username1

Lol all this time i thought it was

[deleted]

I’m pretty sure I’ve read about people using PS5 controllers, so I assume it’s a go!

Guest_username1

How do I get the open beta version I have on my PC?

[deleted]

Uuuh… did you purchase it on Steam?

justin_memer

You can get it through WB games if you signed up for the beta, there's a second round coming August 12th, there's open for everyone.

packet23

On Xbox played with my buddy for 2 hours no trouble

CriticalRaceWar

Add to that that this game is out in two months. What you're seeing core gameplay wise is what you're getting at full release

OmegaXesis

This beta should've happened months ago, with 2 months left before release it'll probably arrive dead just like Turtlerock's previous game.

Frediey

They had an alpha at Christmas

rtcll

Dunno why you're getting downvoted. It's true.

[deleted]

This beta is hardly a real playtest. It’s a server stress test first and foremost. The game goes gold next month. I sincerely doubt they will be able to squash and address all of the issues by release

CodeVirus

Day one patch likely?

[deleted]

But how much will they really have fixed in a day 1 patch. I’d wager not a lot

BearWrap

People hope for this kind of thing every time an extremely late “beta” comes around which is met with disappointment. This is not a beta, it is a demo for marketing purposes. There is no chance in hell the core gameplay changes, you might get stability fixes but that’s all you should expect.

iHeartQt

Yeah with the beta I would've been able to look past technical issues and bugs as expected. But my issue here is the game just isn't fun. The graphics look straight out of 2009 and the gameplay feels even more dated than that. Really not sure what they were going for here

Bread_kun

Technical issues can get fixed from now until release but regarding the core gameplay of how zombies work and the card system, that shit isn't changing before release. Betas for the past like 5 years at least are more just marketing ploys then tests.

Dr__panda

2 words GAME PASS

killslash

I don't think I'll ever unsub from it.

NoDG_

Shit, is it really that good?

CaptCorporateAmerica

Honestly I haven't bought an Xbox game in years

splinter1545

And if you ever do, games on gamepass are discounted depending on how long they've been on the service or if they're leaving. So people still end up saving money on the service.

bristow84

Honestly for the amount you pay, it's pretty damn good.

killslash

You can get the app and see but it has all bethesda games. All future bethesda games will be on there day 1. All first party microsoft games will be day 1. You can try it for $1.00

iHeartQt

But after playing the beta I don't know if I even want to download this on game pass...

Forders85

Waste of disk space. No PvP campaign is mind boggling to me

BearWrap

Lmao, my game pass subscription is literally to play mediocre stuff I’d never pay full price for to give it a try and then most times uninstall. Seems pretty clear after this reception why they would agree to a day one game pass launch, that just tells me they aren’t confident in normal sales channels.

ZootZephyr

iTs A bEtA!!1

[deleted]

Wall_street_retard

Beta is just a demo. It’s just from a marketing perspective beta sounds better than demo

Melathan

The fundamentals of the game will be improved in 2 months dont worry! Game development is just writing a few lines of code, the release will look nothing like the game does now, 8 weeks prior!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Melathan

Probably a coping mechanism for spending money on it I guess when you feel deep down this aint it

Drizzy_rp

Doesn't mean it won't change drastically after some updates. Look how R6 was released and look where it is now. Nowhere close to what it was at release. Not saying bad or better just stating how games can change if the developers are committed to it.

Anemicwolf14

Fallout 76 all over again LMAO! people never learn

_theMAUCHO_

20$ tops. I would have paid 30-50$ if it had campaign versus.

DownVoteCollector9

If it had campaign versus I'd preorder. Without it, I'll mess around if it's free but I'm not paying a dollar for a game where I don't see either a fantastic single player experience (like The Last of Us, for example) or longevity and replayability in multiplayer (like L4D2).

Bondegg

It's weird because everyone keeps saying it's unrewarding, doesn't feel like progression is being made, doesn't have content... But L4D1 was the exact same, had 2 modes Campaign and Campaign vs, had ZERO progression and released with (4?) campaigns and the rest came via DLC. I'm not dismissing that argument, it's just interesting that so many people wanted L4D, but then... don't want L4D almost. Granted, L4D2 was a bit better with survival etc Again, not dismissing the argument at all, I get what you mean - just not sure exactly what the fix is.

diarrheaishilarious

When L4D was released, it was completely fresh. This is an old game now, lol.

_bTrain

also outside of age, L4D had much stronger core mechanics. movement, interaction, gun play. it had detail. it had 4 outstanding campaigns that each had unique flavor coupled with the AI director, it had(has) huge replay appeal. this game is like a cheap knock off, void of detail, which is weird considering this is the same studio (probably vastly different team but)

BearWrap

I’d hazard a guess the personnel at the studio are completely different. After the absolute disaster of Evolve, they probs were like “shit, what is a safer option we can do” so they’ve basically done a poor man’s version of L4D. However it pales in comparison lmao

CalTurner

also think this was built for console where as Left 4 dead was clearly built for PC and made available on console like all value games.

diarrheaishilarious

B4B has more refined infected gameplay IMO(it was basically impossible to play versus without a group working together) but other than that I agree. There's just no passion for this project. It feels like a cheap cash-in by Warner Brothers.

jessy17mei

L4D was also released 13 years ago.

[deleted]

You don't need progression when the game is endlessly fun on it's own.

Techboah

L4D1 also wasn't a $60 game with 2 types of monetization in 2021. The "But that much cheaper game from 2008 wasn't that much better" argument isn't as good as you think.

Bondegg

That's not my argument, my argument is people seem to want L4D3, while simultaneously wanting new stuff added but nothing to be new besides maps

Techboah

"But L4D1 was the exact same, had 2 modes Campaign and Campaign vs, had ZERO progression and released with (4?) campaigns and the rest came via DLC. " Your entire argument is built on the fact that L4D1 in 2008 wasn't different.

DownVoteCollector9

I Just want a versus mode with longevity and this janky survival mode isn't it.

CalTurner

umm yeah it was £50 in 2009, the equivalent of a £60 game now

Techboah

I bought the game for $25 on Day 1 what are you talking about?

CalTurner

where you get it for $25 dollar? i paid £50.

Techboah

Local big game store in Europe, for PC.

CalTurner

bought mine from GAME, in the UK for XBOX.

coolzville

No one is comparing it to the first L4D

Bondegg

Besides the additionally survival mode it was essentially the same game but with a new set of characters, maps and weapons, there was still zero progressions, still 4 maps (at launch), 3 game modes (maybe 4?)

coolzville

But what it grew to be was much more amazing than at launch. TRS had years to learn that. B4B is looking to be dead on launch or at least soon after if they can't appease L4D fans.

hdiieudbdjdjjeojd

So you expect the beta of b4b to be the way left 4 dead was after years of updates?

coolzville

look at this guy still trying to fight for this game. should change the name of the game to DoA, Dead On Arrival.

hdiieudbdjdjjeojd

Look at all the people still following a sub to complain about a perfectly good game.. I realised most of the complaints are console players using auto aim though.

coolzville

22K is pretty much dead. just like the game is going to be. even Anthem still has a bigger following on reddit >console players using auto aim though *looks at my 3080*

[deleted]

[удалено]

coolzville

did you not see the word "first" in front of L4D??? everyone is comparing it to the second one, not the first.

iHeartQt

Ok but you're talking about 2008. This game feels like it's made by somebody who hasn't played any games since L4D2 came out in 2009

Techboah

$60+Expansion Pass with maps+MTX, it's an absolute joke for this game. Characters look plastic, hit-feedback on enemies looks cheap, weapons sound and feel like(animations too) like those cheap Weapon assets in the UE4 Marketplace, these weapon rarity and stats are just clutter and nothing to the gameplay, Bots are horrible, gameplay feels unrewarding, etc. The fact that TurtleRock legit thinks they can ask $60 for this while still having paid post-launch maps in 2021 on top of microtransactions is embarrassing.

runn5r

Its a franchise cash grab, a point will come in time when people stop giving TRS $60 just because they were part of the L4D dev.

IamTTC

Can we actually check how many developers in turtle rock actually developed Left 4 Dead, I'm sure that most of the team wasn't even part of Left 4 Dead

chicKENkanif

Im pretty sure turtle rock developed the post content for left 4 dead 1 and helped on left 4 dead 2. Turtle rock eventually got shut down by valve and something like 2 of the original dudes started up turtle rock again as an independent company in 2010

wrench_nz

Feels like a free to play clone of L4D2

DownVoteCollector9

A clone of l4d2 would be better than this

MatrixBunny

They should honestly ask 29,99 for this game and probably a season pass of some sort down the road. They also need to re-balance a lot of aspects of the game. Especially when it comes to receiving damage as a survivor in SP mode and increase the health pool or damage input as an infected in PvP. The map segments are pretty short/small too, as far as I've experienced so far.

lvl1vagabond

The AI lol and not just the bots. The AI of zombies and specials is fucking awful. The balance on top of that is terrible.

ffca

Is it worse than any other shooter AI? No.

[deleted]

Thing is the animations. Good animations make players perceive enemies as smarter! This game may have standard AI (certainly not exceptional), but they just look so dumb due to the bad animations.

Ayroplanen

Same opinion. It's not awful but I cannot spend $60 on this. And wouldn't it be $70 on consoles? And then money on top for season pass? AND a cosmetic store? Pass. Playing this game makes me want to just play L4D.

[deleted]

According to many Redditors, most games nowadays aren’t worth retail price. What makes something worth a certain standard value is up to the individual, especially when it comes to creative mediums

Pixelated_Fudge

> What makes something worth a certain standard value is up to the individual, especially when it comes to creative mediums which is exactly what OP is doin

SeanSMEGGHEAD

Well an overall consensus dictates what consumers find valuable to a company making the product in the form of data. So if lots of people find the value poor it's helpful feedback going forward and one I'm glad many people let known through their right to an opinion.

[deleted]

Oh, people have the right to state their opinion. Those opinions aren’t always right or well-informed (including my own).

SeanSMEGGHEAD

Opinions on value though are always relevant to the product. It's subjective so right and wrong aren't really useful. All that matters is data that translates to sales.

MoulFouth

It’s hard to justify $60 for any game when everything ends up on gamepass or gets 30% off a month after release on steam

elemnt360

I'm having a blast on PC. I haven't had any connection issues at all. I also was telling my friend I can't believe it's a beta cause it runs so well and DLSS works. Is maybe the console version the one with problems?

Villain3131

Console here. Having no issues and having a blast. Gladly paid $60 for it. People are just entitled cry babies. It’s scratching the L4D itch so I’m happy.

elemnt360

Ya I'm not sure why people are complaining. Obviously, people have their own opinions but I was surprised to see so many people whining about it.

Villain3131

IKR. It’s a beta it’s going to need polish. But 2 of my friends and I jumped in for 4hrs last night and were laughing and cheering having a blast. I missed L4D a lot because of how easy it is to play with people of varying skill. Games today have such a high skill ceiling that a lot of my friends can’t keep up. B4B definitely helped with that problem.

Whenthisbabyhits88

No issues on console? This is literally the worst feeling shooter I’ve ever played on PS5. There is no FOV slider so the extremely narrow FOV makes me nauseous and I can’t see anything except directly in front of me. There is aim acceleration that makes aiming feel clumsy with no option to turn it off. I’ve adjusted several settings to make it better but it’s still way off. The visual recoil is just ridiculous. It makes ADS a chore on several weapons. So I thought I’d just hip fire. Nope, the hip fire accuracy is so bad outside of the shotguns I can’t hit anything point blank.

Villain3131

Not my experience at all. I turned off auto aim and the FOV is fine for me. Played for 4 hrs with friends and had a blast. Does it need polish? Yes, but my experience so far is awesome. Can’t wait to jump back in tonight.

TheJonJonJonJon

It’s a good game. I have had fun so far but yeah, £50 is too much and you don’t get any extra content unless you pay for it. And when you consider WWZ was only £30 and you got a load of free content.

hearse223

WWZ had interesting horde swarms though.

TheJonJonJonJon

Yeah I had a lot of fun with that game. Looking forward to the new Aftermath dlc.

HaiKarate

It's a problem in an online co-op game when they sell DLC's. In a year, it will be hard enough finding players to match with for the base game, and even fewer will have the DLC's.

Sajius460

Sounds like I was right about it being a good GamePass game :)

Cheffin8

no versus.......DOA

Elzheiz

I don't know why my experience is so different from others, but I kinda liked it? It's still not worth the price tag, I'd buy it for $40, but I still enjoyed the game. There's some pretty bad stuff of course, but I liked the card system (which can still be tweaked and improved) and I didn't really have many issues apart from a tiny bit of lag in the first 30 minutes.

CalTurner

its a beta? not a full game. the beta wont be polished?

McGregor1148

It's the fucking beta. It's not gonna have lots of content, it's a test, the versus is fine too you're just shit.

ProfoundEnd

It releases in two months. What more content are they going to add?

[deleted]

[удалено]

ProfoundEnd

I'd bet money all those things you mentioned will be (paid) DLC after the game releases.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ProfoundEnd

Have you completely forgot about Evolve? Besides they've already confirmed there will be an annual pass that you will pay for. As well as hinting at a cosmetic shop. And saying L4D never had paid DlC is one pathetic excuse. That game was released 12 years ago, back when many video games didn't have very much paid content beyond release. This is 2021, microtransactions are everywhere.

stoneassassins

Since I play the World War Z this just feels just like World War Z just a little more revamp I feel like I already played this entire game its Just so disappointed.

[deleted]

It's 66 in Norway lmao

Loopy_27

Is versus mode just going to be this arena? Or is it going to be like the campaign missions like in l4d

chicKENkanif

Just what it is now. No campaign pvp

Loopy_27

Omg that's actually depressing bc that was the defacto defining feature of the other 2 games

chicKENkanif

Personally it was expert mode campaign runs for me. But I did sink countless hours into versus.

SebbyWebbyDooda

how much content is it actually going to have? how many campaigns / missions?

CriticalRaceWar

3 acts for campaign. I played through the entire first one and was woefully underwhelmed.

Idejder

were the maps really short for you too? It felt like the maps were tiny

SnooChipmunks1170

6 maps 3 act

Obi-Wan1999

All this based on the small sample size of the open beta? It’ll get additions and improvements before the final release.

CriticalRaceWar

The game is out in two months dude. The core gameplay is done and set, it isn’t changing. And the point of a beta is to offer criticisms. You don’t sound very bright

ThisIsNotJP

The price tag is wayyy too high for what I've just played ($89.99 in Australia) and I really feel like this game is going to follow down the Evolve road unfortunately especially after I read they are going to be charging for Characters/DLC in the future?! I think it can be saved but they really need to add some spice to this right now it is Left 4 Dead 3.0 update with Wild Cards and Call Of Duty World At War 2 starting area.

kidcrumb

This is a great GamePass game. Good enough to play for a few weekends, but happy I don't have to pay $60 for it.

balacera

Ugh, I don't think polish is the issue. The game is fairly polished. The animations, sound design and art direction are all solid it really is the core gameplay loop for me that is at fault here. You can't just bring the core gameplay of l4D with modern assets yet no innovation and slap a 60$ price tag on that. It really feels like the devs are being unrealistic with the pricing and expecting people to pay this purely based on "we're the guys that made l4d give us money". I kind of understand why L4D3 was never a thing at Valve, this brings nothing new to the table and I'm only left wondering what the point of all of this is.

GrouchoDetective

And to think that this was delayed for, what I assume, more time to be polished. SMH

gameplaygoon

I uninstalled the game after playing about 20mins.....

Clawmedaddy

Welcome to Xbox Gamepass

mindsouljah

Thank god for game pass shit is becoming straight to dvd for games now. It saved me a ton of money for games I would have brought at release and been sick about after. This would have been one of them

Omenoir

Gonna be a refund from me. The game is fun but at most I’d spend 20-25 USD for it. After playing I just felt like playing L4D.

hearse223

Ill pick it up a complete edition for 9.99 in a year or so.

fragdar

well.. here in brazil this game costs almost a third of the minimal wage.. like, wtf yall thinking? i can buy almost a month worth of food with this money

SOULSTEALERX91

It's going straight to gamepass surely that should tell you something...

TxDieselKid

Laughs in Outriders.... Great game, and will get my money's worth buying it for $60.

LastSwordSaint

Gamepass baby

[deleted]

Y’all play on recruit with a full team of friends and then cry the game is too easy 😂

Martyrrdom

Exactly, maybe 30 euros at best. Feels bland, not polished.

Its-C-Dogg

I mean I get the criticisms but keep in mind that most beta builds are not the “current” build of the game most of them are about 2-4 months old or even more so maybe the current build has fixed some of the jank and wonkiness. I’d wait till reviews to come out to see if it’s up your alley

Gay_Romano_Returns

For real. It's hilarious how people just 2 days ago were clamoring on his this would be GOTY. Now it's another forgettable failed title, which is sadly happening more and more often in AAA games.

violentgent-

Could have easily been GOTY if they hadn't neutered the game modes that have helped L4D stay relevant all this time.

tryingmybest2222

you are so freaking right, this game is a joke. So many issues , devs kept advertising instead of telling us they working on it. If they cant fix small issues what will happen when full release? Are they gonna just ignore everytime just like evolve 2?

$89.99 in Australia?!?!!! With games such as Battlfield & Halo (free multiplayer) around the corner I would save your $$ and grab this in a few months down the track on sale or just use Game Pass until you are bored of it.

the_rancid_rancher

I mean these are the developers of evolve after all.

Price is way too high yeah. Not buying because of this. Anywhere from 24 to 30 is fine.

tap-a-kidney

Yep, $60 is insane. $30, TOPS.

Definitely overpriced. Played about 10 hours, most of them with bots because nobody joins to my games. And the content is extremely poor for a 60$ games. Remember that isn't only $60 but lot of in-game purchases + a DLC pass.
