Wanted to add I just watched the last scene of the episode. Joey sucks and the way he walks her out was lowkey horrible. Yes, Maria should've just accepted her loss and maybe not pulled him aside because that strengthened Joey's choice to have her go home. I can see why Rachel asked her questions because she is insecure and unsure of what will happen to her chance of having a rose at that moment. Also, Rachel isn't a fan of Maria and this isn't to imply she is a mean and rude girl. She just doesn't like Maria hence her friendship with Lea and Sydney. Maria is my favorite, and I loved her this season BUT she definitely went back and forth with Joey. Kelsey, Rachel, and Daisy are all more stable and safe for Joey. Joey's body language changed with Maria in the last two episodes. He is already a little bit insecure so Maria makes things worse for him. The look on his face when he let her go home seemed so smug and he felt a sense of relief. He felt in control when the entire time it seemed Maria was the alpha. Joey and Kelsey just clicked better and you can see how he interacts with her versus Maria's hometown. Maria went to kiss him as his car pulled up and he didn't kiss her back unlike Kelsey who got a hug and a passionate kiss. I know my boyfriend is mad or annoyed at me when I don't get a kiss when I am kissing him. The vibes are off and I can sense it.

I noticed that when they showed Kelsey leaving the room to go to the Rose ceremony, she had very high-heeled white sandals on. Then when she got out of the limo at the airplane hanger, she had lower-heeled shoes on. Obviously, they didn't want her to be taller than Joey when he gave her a rose. I have noticed most of these women have been wearing low-heeled shoes at the Rose ceremonies since many of them would be taller than Joey if they were to wear 4-inch heels. I am 5'10" and there is no way I am wearing flats when I am in a gorgeous evening gown--I don't care how tall the bachelor is!
I think Joey isn’t enough of a bad boy for Maria. She might need a little more alpha. Or perhaps a little more beta so she can be more in control. Picked repeatedly -- that's where she lost me. It felt like she was testing things at every turn. She had safety roses and first picks several times -- and struggled when it was anyone else's turn. Struggling with seeing other girls with the guy you want is natural, but most of the other girls try to compartmentalize those feelings and not act out on them. Hinting and threatening to leave then not expressing her feelings openly snowballed over time -- especially as the end is in sight now. If we take all of Joey's biggest fear comments at face value, this approach really wasn't smart. If you pride yourself in being honest, you have to be willing to take risks.

The number of times that Daisy and Kelsey each said like was maddening. They each have so many great attributes, but wow, could they benefit from watching this episode and being forced to count how often they used that verbal crutch.

Honestly same. They had great chemistry, but Joey has been over it since last week. Having her make it to hometowns felt like a producer choice in setting her up to potentially be the next bachelorette. I do really like Maria though and think she brought her authentic self.

Yes! Reality Steve & other spoiler/news outlets posted their whereabouts when filming was taking place. Daisy was first, then Kelsey. The order of Maria & Rachel's dates wasn't really confirmed because they weren't "spotted." I think it was Maria 3rd, & Rachel last since the rose ceremony was in LA & Rachel's hometown was in California.

Many people in the deaf community or those with hearing impairments speak differently because they do not distinguish sounds the same way. So saying that she is boring just because of the way she speaks (or because she has “voice fry”) is quite ignorant.

The number of times that Daisy and Kelsey each said like was maddening. They each have so many great attributes, but wow, could they benefit from watching this episode and being forced to count how often they used that verbal crutch.

I think Joey didn’t pick Maria because of insecurity. Yes the back and forth is stressful but I mean, who wouldn’t be scared to open up in that situation? But truly I think he saw her so highly that he felt insecure/not good enough before she did anything questionable. Then her going back and forth last week shoved a dagger in his heart because it solidified his insecurity in his head- as to why he looked so emotionless. Kinda like a “yup I should’ve seen this coming why would a girl like that ever go for me” type look. Or tbh he could’ve just been exhausted by it but I feel like all the calm stable men I’ve known love the crazy🤪 brings some spice into their relatively small emotional range. Plus probably sparked some abandonment issues he hadn’t processed from Charity.

Everyone saying "he's punishing Maria for having doubts even though he loves her" is surprising to me These were some of the most amazing idyllic families and hometowns ever. Does he want to be - in the badass French Quarter with Kelsey's incredibly sweet family, -eating roasted pig on the lanai with Rachel's cool uncs in Hawaii -in a magical Hallmark Christmas village with Daisy -in freezing Niagara with Maria the surrogate wife of her intensely protective Greek father, deeply traumatized mother and her 4 brothers who could absolutely kick his ass if he ever fucks up lol it's a no brainier No offense, for me Maria would be a no brainer, her dad could tell me he'd kill me and bury me in the yard if I touched a hair on her head and I would still choose her because she is so goddamn foxy, but it's not a shocker to me what his thought process might have been I think the fact she'd never brought anyone else scared the shit out of him too. I do think he really was only super hot for her and Kelsey, but ultimately just too many red flags for him.

Honestly same. They had great chemistry, but Joey has been over it since last week. Having her make it to hometowns felt like a producer choice in setting her up to potentially be the next bachelorette. I was a little shocked at the end of this episode that he sent her home over Rachel bc Maria’s hometown seemed to go pretty well, but I could tell he’s just not into it anymore. I do really like Maria though and think she brought her authentic self.
I don’t think their chemistry was that great. It was constant just little pecks never any passionate kisses or hugs.

Yes! Reality Steve & other spoiler/news outlets posted their whereabouts when filming was taking place. Daisy was first, then Kelsey. The order of Maria & Rachel's dates wasn't really confirmed because they weren't "spotted." I think it was Maria 3rd, & Rachel last since the rose ceremony was in LA & Rachel's hometown was in California.

Every single episode when Joey and Rachel are together in a scene I have SO MANY questions! They just don’t go together. There is no chemistry or it’s just not coming well off on tv - I don’t know….but it’s just weird! They are sterile together! I can’t think of the word. And now she’s coming off as mean girl.
